I read an article in the Los Angeles Times today about how when the World Series is going on, its usually feeling like winter in most of the locations. So I was just wondering what you guys think; Does baseball season go on too long?

NoooOOOoo...

Baseball season can never be too long. It should be year round, for goodness' sakes!! I'm already waiting for April, and Spring Training. :)

[Now, basketball season... That's a different story. Waaaaay too long.

Baseball as a whole is just too long. The games are too long. The season is too long. And boring, don't forget boring.

Ditto, lady.

I wouldn't complain if they doubled up more games, but come on, it's October-- it's not THAT bad. It's 53 degrees F in St. Louis right now.

What's too long are the games themselves. The batters and pitchers need to stop making googly eyes at each other and put the ball in play already. The players wouldn't be freezing their [rears] off if they were like, you know, actually moving around once in a while.

Personally, I don't mind the length of the season. I wouldn't mind if they were playing in 2 feet of snow; just as long as it was Baseball. Plus, it keeps me busy until hockey season.

I voted no. I think actual baseball games take too long, but i dont think the season is too long, its about right in my opinion. If you look at the playoff teams, usually they have a significant amount of losses. There just needs to be a way for the better teams to distance themselves from the poorer ones, and a "long" season does that.

My thoughts exactly. I say to heck with the season being too long, the games themselves outlive beard growth. No wonder there's a seventh inning stretch. Without it, fans would suffer atrophy.

I stopped paying attention to baseball when the Astros got owned in the World Series.

We all have our sports. Baseball doesn't just ring my bells. :ohwell:

I like to play baseball...but watch it? Nah. I hate how the games interrupt other shows and such. Kinda irks me.

I think the season is to long. I mean....it seems like it just ended before it begins again. :|

My opinion of coarse....I'd much rather play a sport than watch it. More exciting that way. :P
