Now... I'm not saying all of these are good or worth the money, but they have something that interests me. Like, most of the DC OYL-titles is utter crap, but I still get them, because I need to know the basics of this new DCU. And all the tenthousand tie-ins to Civil War are just as annoying.

And yes, it is a lot.

I'm not much of a comic junkie, but if there were a comic store where I am, it would be constantly sold out due to me raiding it all the time

Now, let's see...here are the few comics I have read, and all of them in my eyes are just gold. Which is practicly the lot of them :P

- Justice League of America
- Batman
- Usagi Yojimbo
- Ultimate Spiderman
- TMNT
- Tales of the TMNT

Yeah, that's all of them. Though if I could I would read the following *clears throat*

- Manhunter
- Nightwing (though I did read one with him and Huntress last holiday...)
- Flash: Fastest Man Alive
- X-Men
- Teen Titans

I have more, but I'm just going to stop there ^_^; However, get me on the topic of a manga pull list...

Eh? How come, Lord Doom? What could turn our beloved Flash into utter crap? :-?

-Ultimate Spider-Man

I also pick up all sorts of trades. Most recent being Age of Apocalypse vol. 3

Eh? How come, Lord Doom? What could turn our beloved Flash into utter crap? :-? Turning Flash into a completely idiotic and thoroughly stupid series is quite easy: First, chuck away all the three Flashes that were there before that and substitute them with Bart Allen. Now, we might remember Bart from being Impulse. But then the writers totally wrecked him by making him Kid Flash, which was a really bad choice. Then they made him older and he was the new Flash. Which sucked. Then there's one of DC's biggest weaknesses: Its complete lack of supervillains that are good. So, they tried to create a new one: The Griffin. Ironically, the Griffin is called Griffith in real life and is Bart's roomie in college. The Griffin wants to do justice-things, but kills people in the process. So he's basically a Punisher in a green hood. Then of course, you need a compelling plot twist. Do that by letting everyone talk about how the Speedforce is gone while letting everyone run around at light speed, so that image and writing contradicts each other. Then make Bart the wielder of the entire Speedforce, which is also quite idiotic. And then you tell lame stories. VoilĂ , Flash sucks.

Now, wasn't that easy?

They still have Jay Garrick. :\

I want Wally back.

They have two Jays. Unfortunately, the younger Jay was killed off for no good reason at all. And old Jay's probably going to kick the bucket in the next couple of issues.

Jay ain't gonna die anytime soon. Him, Alan Scott, and Ted Grant are too important to go down yet.

Having an important character never stopped them from anything. Didn't they kill off two Flashes before? And they had plans to off Nightwing in Infinite Crisis. So the character's importance doesn't mean squat in the DCU. In Marvel on the other hand side...

I dont really follow any comic book series. I like Tranformer Beast Wars themed books, and source books about other franchises (like Masters of the Universe and Thundercats) but thats about it. Ive bought several Batman vs Predator books, almost done with those. Beyond that, its whatever cover catches my eye. If it looks cool i give it a shot.

No, they killed off ONE Flash. Wally disappeared, but he's alive somewhere. And they had plans to off Nightwing, but they decided otherwise didn't they.

Besides, they JUST started up the new JSA, so I expect Jay to be around for a while And if he does, it's gotta be some big event, it's only fitting.

I'm 99.999999% a DC guy. I only read superman and the superman tie ins. I do get the occasional Punisher issue and I still like to pick up the TMNT series.

My subscription at the shop is consisted of superman, superman confidential, action comics, and any other superman tie in that gets published.
