View Full Version : Ninja Rap 2?
Wouldn't it be funny to have Ninja Rap 2 on the credits to TMNT?
even if at the end of the credits,
If you didn't know Vanilla Ice in his latest album from 05 made a more metal-rap version of the Ninja Rap named Ninja rap 2,
another fun song would be Ninja turtles by Horse the Band to be played by in the credits.
No, I saw it in concert, and didn't like it too well.

Ninja Rap 2 has nothing to do with Ninja Rap 1... It's fraking stupid... I heard it on his official site and was majorly dissapointed.
I like it, it has nothing to do with Ninja Turtles this time (obviously), but it has the same chorus, and even mentions bruce lee!
edit:i guess this could be merged with the OST thread

One word - No. It's just not right. While a nod towards an old movie soundtrack would be cool, I don't think it would be a wise move for "Ninja Rap 2". Besides, that was 15 years ago and would make the emo kids cry if it played in the credits. It's time to move on to something a bit fresher as the ending credits. A little snippet in the middle of the movie from an old school song that wasn't revamped, let's say T.U.R.T.L.E. POWER, would be a nice nod though.

Forget Vanilla Ice. I actually made a ninja rap once, as a bit of a joke on the whole rapping-about-turtles thing. Just for the shell of it (and because I'm a rapper who loves the TMNT), I even sent it to Dan Berger, who liked it and said he'd send it to Laird. The track is still on my myspace (http://myspace.com/Fleppo2). Check it out!
Well looks like Vanilla Ice did it and while he didn't make it to TMNT 2007 he did make it to the latest movie Mutant Mayhem. Crazy to think this thread was made nearly 20 years ago. I was still a teenager back then!
Since then Vanilla Ice has come to embrace his TMNT past and plays the Ninja Rap in his live shows, though the version he plays is a more hardcore version of it, it's neither Ninja Rap 1 nor 2, more like a mix of the two. Wish that version was in Mutant Mayhem, I prefer it.
