View Full Version : NEW EP DISCUSSION (9Dec06): "The Journal"
So far, it's only a title. But, something tells me this ep may be in response to all the fans who have been complaining about how unsentimental the characters have all been so far this 'season'. Anyone else care to speculate?

Awesome! I bet it's about adventures the turtles would have had if they didn't go to the future (I hope).
Awesome! I bet it's about adventures the turtles would have had if they didn't go to the future (I hope).
If that is the case, which let's hope it is, we'll still have the Fast Forward character designs, not the 2K3 ones...so it's not that great. It'll be like that one episode of FF where we saw Hun and the Shredder again.

Hey...maybe it IS about Casey and April??? Maybe we find out what their son's name was???
Jester

I'm sure it is a refrence to Casey's journal, the one Cody claims to own. I'm not sure what else that may entail, but I like the idea of tieing up the loos ends of April, Casey, and the old 2k3 series.
It's Casey's journal? I always thought it was April's. Who would be able to decipher the writings of Casey Jones anyway? :P
Raph's Girl

What's interesting is that Splinter's reaction upon seeing the journal was that he was questioning wether his sons wanted to know what their future would be like. Crazy time paradox...urgh...

Well knowing the future is a problem since then you can change it. I mean yeah Don knows of his acomplishments but he sure would not want to change those. If the book had like a date and time of one of the turtle's deaths in a battle they should not know it and not be allowed to change it.

While watching the preview I could of swarn one of the turtles was battling Dr. Malignes from Episode 11. Or least some dude who looks like him.
But I'm betting that the episode may show some miscellaneous villians if I'm not misstaken.
That explains Mikey in his redesigned Turtle Titan suit... :)

Anyone know where I can view the preview?
I'm basing this purely on my gut, but I'm going to guess this will be the best episode of FF so far. (Watch me get hugely disapointed next week, hahaha)

I liked it too. I screamed right along with them when Serling entered the room. And I guess this episode calms my lingering fear that they wouldn't get back to their timeline. Yay for not being stuck in the future for too long!

This was the best tmnt ff episode! My favorite pats were Leonardo's, Raphael's
and Donatello's. I didn't like Mikey's cause the villain was a baby. I liked seeing April, Casey, Karai, Hun, and the Ninja Tribnual again. Anybody notice a change in Hun's voice? Oh I also liked Donny as Serling!

Well...this was the first episode of "Fast Forward" I've sat through in it's entirety since the first episode.
It wasn't too bad (the theme song made my head hurt...).
Mikey's story was dumb, but that's no suprise.
I loved Leo's story because it showed that Mr. Perfect isn't always right. It also showed that Karai is on good terms with the Hamato clan again (she seemed annoyed with Leo's accusations of her, and I don't blame her).
Don's was good for the most part, got stupid with him being a brain with EYES in a jar...then got a bit funny with the robot.
Raph's was just plain weird (Hun's new voice was horrible!).

Oh yeah, to hell with Darius Dun, Splinter's the REAL evil genius around here! Don's part was great, Serling showed up at just the right time to scare the crap outta the guys. What makes it even funnier is if you think Cody and Splinter were outside the room listening in on the guys and they were the ones who sent him in there . . . woulda went something like this, I think . . .
*Cody and Splinter are outside the trophy room, listening in*
Cody: Oooh, they're getting to the end of Donny's part, this should be funny!
Splinter: Yes, that was my most brilliant plot twist, wasn't it? *Serling is wandering around nearby cleaning, Splinter spots him and gets an evil grin* But to make things more interesting . . . Oh, Serling, I think you missed some dust in the trophy room!
Serling: I did? Oh dear . . .
*Serling goes in the room, the Turtles scream. Cody and Splinter are laughing their asses off . . .*

This is the best FF episode hands down. I thought this episode would suck from the preview last week, but boy was I ever wrong. It was totally hilarious and very interesting as well (although what splinter said earlier was a dead give away the stories were made up, but that didn't make it any less interesting). Did anyone think Baxter Stockman kind of robot when they saw the Donny brain? Of course the unveiling of the Serling bot was even more hilarious. This also confirms that FF takes place after the Lost Season. I'm surprised all the other characters look exactly as they did in the regular show though. I thought they would change their design a bit just like the turtles. Thank god they didn't. Yeah, Hun's new voice sucks.
Oh man, stuck on a desserted island for 3 years with a bare butt naked Casey.

Awwww, how cute, Fast Forward tried it's own version of "Bad Day" with another bait and switch pile of s*ite...knew this was going to be overrated, the only good thing about this story was the animation styles constantly changing and contrasting, as well as Donatello's predicament being a nice tounge-in-cheek nod to Volume Three.
If this is as "edgy" as FF can hope to be, kindly give me a reason to care about what CAN happen, not a glorified scared spitless program.

It is official. Splinter is an evil, master mind, manipulator, douche bag. But I say this with begrudging admiration.
Man, Splinter really hit the turtles where they live with his little fabricated story lines. It was...almost f*cked up with the way he went about it. Really messed up. I have mixed feelings about his sadistic aim. Having Leo turned away in disgrace by the tribunal. Having Donatello achive fame and then get his body destroyed and turned into a Baxter like Brain in a jar was low. Definately below the belt on those two.
I missed the one with Mikey (I over slept) but it seems he wrecks the justice force. And the one with Raphael was funny but I felt bad that Splinter wrote them being stuck on an island and having poor Casey lose April to another man. Ouch! that is harsh. I'll never see Splinter in the same way ever again. :-? :-? :ohwell: :ohwell: :| :|
Haha  Sage Ninja. At least Splinter didn't spend all his time watching soaps in this one.
I only caught the last 3 minutes, thanks to the airtime change. And I forgot too. And I was watching "Hitchhiker's Guide" anyway. Marviiiiiin!

Not bad....I liked to see the "old" characters back again....but aren't the tribunal members all dead? And don't the Foot Mystics look more...not like baskets?
Loved this episode. I have a feeling they will return to their time in another season. Was good seeing the past again, but I can accept change, so whichever direction this show is headed, I don't mind at all...
The only thing I mind about now, is that 4Kids BETTER release Ninja Tribunal now. I was thinking that 4Kids was going to pass off Ninja Tribunal and its following episodes to make it seem like Good Genes Part 2 was the season finale and then moved to FF, but todays episode opened that can of worms. There is absolutely no excuse for 4Kids not releasing Ninja Tribunal now that it was brought back up. Good going 4Kids, NOW RELEASE THE DARN DVD SET!
Yay for next weeks episode being new, and not this hogwash talk of airing the next thirteen episodes next fall. PFFT!
Jest to answer your question. It was all made up, so anything could've happened. April could've been dating that purple chick Cody likes for all Splinter knows. :P

This episode was decent, I thought.
I found the humor enjoyable and I'm gald it was abundant. There was action in this episode, yeah, but I feel that the humor just surpassed it. Anyways, here's what I thought of each Turtles' future vignettes...
I'd say I liked Leo's the most cuz he got to go back to the Ninja Tribunal to continue his training. I liked the fight scenes for his part -- especially since Karai showed up. :D
Raphael finally got to go out to fight the Purple Dragons with Casey again. The narration by Casey for this part truly got my attention. It was also cool seeing Hun again, but I didn't care much for his new voice.
Donny's part was very scientific, I thought, but that's ok. It was interesting seeing him as a disembodied brain... sorta reminded me of when Baxter was like that. I don't agree with his brain being used to power a Serling unit, though.
Mikey's part didn't really do much for me, but I'm glad the writers decided to include it, though. :ohwell: Hey, at least he was in the beginning making a big deal out of action figures, which was not only funny, but it was something that I could relate to.
Overall, since this episode was decent, I'm giving it three "Do not read April and Casey's jorunal" moments out of five. Next week's episode looks like it'll be pretty cool, since we'll be seeing Viral again.

Firstly, I saw the fact the Journal was going to be fake pretty much as soon as Splinter kept warning them about reading the journal. Prior knowledge did help me realize that the stories were mainly written as to affect each turtle in a specific way. Mainly in tone. Mike's was childish and comic geeky, Raph's had no basic plot other than "go and fight," Leo's was emotionally motivated, and Don's pretty much... well, Donnish.. all I can say.
I do say, I wish that if this show continues, they tone down Mikey's comic book geekness a little more. I get the idea, but he's gone overboard.
The one thing I kinda found disappointing was I really hoped that when they wheeled out that replacement body of Don's, I was kinda hoping for a Krang refference. It's been so long since I've seen a nod to the old series.
It was WONDERFUL to see the older characters again. Especially Casey. His absense really made the show hard for me to get into.
And here's some time theory:
Reguarding Mikey's story, wouldn't reading about the outcome of the fight make him change the outcome anyway? I mean, theoretically, if he were to read that something awful would happen, wouldn't that in turn change his outcome? Actually, that goes for all of them. If they knew about disaster, wouldn't they try to avert it, anyway? Thus the stories would have ended positively anyway.
But I like how they actually aknowledged the properties of time travel, the rules and regulations, and not just say, "Hey! We're in the future! Let's party!!!" like they've been doing the beginning of the show.
Of course, if they didn't want to know about their futures in the past, why did Cody tellDon about Donnatellium?

Who knows if the Tribunal can truely die. Since all the lost season hasn't aaired and only the writers and a secelt few knows what fully happened unless you are one of those select few you can't say they got their
continuity wrong.
They could have gotten it right and we just have not seen the Tribunial return. No wait that can't be because we need to bash Fast Forward even when there is no reason to.

So, let me get this straight...
The guys can't hug each other after they think the others are dead... They can't hug at reunions... But Raph can touch Casey's hand?
Hmm... An interesting thing to think about. I mean... why start now, if they couldn't use emotional growth throughout the rest of the series?

Sorry, I know how that sordid game is played, and I'm not falling for it. I had a feeling it was a fake journal...Splinter has a weird imagination..
This was an interesting ep. All sorts of possible theories about a possible future timeline. One where Don becomes Serling (Cyborg Don?? ), Raph and Casey do an homage to "Castaway", Mikey fraks up the Justice Force by making them infants (I thought it was weird that April would be raising them instead of Don figuring out a way to reverse the process) and poor Leo...he got kicked out of acolyte school for not trusting Karai.
I love tho that the turtles thought they fraked everything up because they had read the journal. *L* But cuz of what Cody has told Don about his future inventions they KNOW they'll get back to the past at one time. Gotta love time paradox's.
Each of their storylines were odd in their own ways:
Mikey's was weird with the JF being changed to babies and April raising them like they were her own children when she could have helped find a way to reverse their predicament. :P
Don touring the universe is an homage to Tales of the TMNT volume 2. That's all he seems to do these days...tour the universe with Prof. Obligato.
Raph and Casey being stuck on an island for 3 years...wonder if they had a volleyball with em? :P That part was a complete homage to "Castaway"...
Leo, Leo, Leo...come on... Karai was on your side you doofus...she was trying to make amends for her past!
Now for a couple questions:
1: Are the Ninja Tribunal really alive or was that just part of Splinter's imagination??
2: Were some parts of the fake journal parts of the real one?? Casey figuring out how to fund O'Neil
tech makes sense since he's not an inventor.

Can I say that I like Fast Forward, but watching this episode I agree with Zarius that it's terribly Ret-coned. True we may not know if the Tribunal is some how resurrected, but the fact that the Mystic looked old style....that was a little off. Didn't they show their true colors in the first episode of the Lost Season ?
But, thought this episode did seem to ret-con....hasn't the 2k3 series also done similar things?

I wonder, since time travel is a natural part of the turtles time line and the future they live in now is an extension of that, how the turtles bit the dust. Considering their older selves don't seem to be around and Cody had to go into the past to get to see them I'm assuming that the turtles are dead. I wonder if they died of old age or in battle.
Also quick question. I can't seem to remember--was Splinter with them when they came back through time in the jounral entry flashback/flashforward? I noticed he was'nt in that Welcome Back picture at the end as well. Hopefully nothing bad happened

One of the funnies lines of the FF. Casey Jones: "You fixed the washing machine! Good, my vigilante pants were getting ripe." I loved that line. Also, I was glad to see April, Casey, Nobody, and Silver Sentry. This was my favorite FF episode so far.

I too liked how they showed some familar charaters for the first time in awhile.
For the first half of the episode, I thought the journal entries were true on their future when they return from the future they're in. But glad that they were fake, cause a Giant Baby vs. the Justice Force was too random.
Much like in the "Bad Day" episode where you suspect that the turtle's secret is exposed to the public, but turned out to be an illusion created by the Foot Mystics.
And it was cool to see the Ninaj Tribunal and Karai(which I can tell this episode hints, that Karai will drop the Shredder act). Course I'm one of the million fans who haven't seen the "Lost Season" yet. It'll be clear when I do see those episodes.
But for now FF will keep me busy.
I'm going to go out on a limb here, and assume Boardman is a staff member who works on the new animated series, and if so I'm going to throw these out.
1. Have the ratings and interest improved since going the route of FF?
2. Will the Turtles get back to their time?
3. Will the Ninja Tribunal DVD come out?
If you're not part of that department then forgive me, but if so give us some good old TMNT info lovin.
I personally like FF but like the Turtles, I'm home sick. Heck have Shokonabo bring all his minions back to the past, then well have a 2k3/FF hybrid. :P

The Boardman
this is very true Boardman but things can be said in a better manner and not so crude draging names into things and swearing every chance they get.
Every opinion is vallid unless explained not to be true like you are saying with the case of Zarius here it's very hard to make an opinion on episodes you haven't even seen yet but still plenty of people do it.:|
Thankyou for that mature and concise response to my concerns and complaints, sometimes having a job in the department sure does prevent unncersary "ass-talking" comments from a few other losers. Good job. I called it the way I saw it from the context we've been exposed to thanks to the messed-up scheduling.
I still dislike the episode, but good job.

Leo, Leo, Leo...come on... Karai was on your side you doofus...she was trying to make amends for her past!
While they didn't emphasize it very well, Leo had read that someone would betray the Tribunal from the journal. That kept it in line with the "foreknowledge is evil" theme. However, Cody already spoiled enough about the Turtles' future to them, so this problem seemed to come out of nowhere.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can someone give me a synopsis?
Here you go.
EPISODE 130
"The Journal"
Story Editor: Lloyd Goldfine
Senior Supervising Director: Roy Burdine
Written by Steve Murphy
Synopsis:
While rooting around in Cody’s Trophy Room, Don, Leo, Mike and Raph come across the old “future history” journal kept by April O’Neil and Casey Jones. The guys have seen this journal before and have always been careful not to read its contents. This time, though, they’re feeling quite homesick, as well as curious (as always) and decide to read it. Big mistake!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ret-coned
Definition, please!
True we may not know if the Tribunal is some how resurrected, but the fact that the Mystic looked old style....that was a little off. Didn't they show their true colors in the first episode of the Lost Season ?
"Good Genes" Part Two, I believe... y'know, when they destroyed the amulet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for me, why haven't I reviewed the ep yet? I'll tell you, I was a little less than thrilled. It was a filler ep, and the idea of a filler being a book-end on the upcoming DVD tells me that I won't be getting the DVD until I start seeing SEASON SETS of 2K3 (preferably a lot like the ones I have mapped out here (http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?p=445778#post445778)). Perhaps this is the reason 4Kids is making this season of FF 14 eps long. They don't want to give the audience too much of a sense of closure when there's still more to come. We'll see "Future Shellshock" for the 10th or so time on the 23rd. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't blow through the rest of FF before Fall '07.
Okay. The introductory portion of this ep was pretty decent. We were suggested a destination. So, I think everyone knew what to expect for an ending. We had A and B, but we just couldn't predict the bumps and etc. between the points.
Now, the main story was split among the four Turtles. Mikey's came first. Since this was the first indication of their return to the present, I noticed a few weird things that validated point B. This time wasn't a nude time travel experience like the first. They hugged April and Casey as soon as they got back. And, for whoever mentioned it, Splinter was the first through this made-up portal. But, yeah, he wasn't in the actual photo seen at the end of the ep. This was possibly the most character-specific stylization of the four stories in as much as it was intensely goofy. It flashed visions of Teen Titans' silliest eps before my eyes. Just because it was Mikey's situation, it involved him trying to save the Justice Force from a giant, super-powered baby. O_o Yeah, okay. That's hopefully too far-fetched to ever be a serious storyline. Since Mikey wasn't even prepared to save the Justice Force, only Silver Sentry, it was reasonable to assume that he would be careless like he was. The fact that the bad guys called Mikey a frog twice just ticked me off. Just because they're bad guys, they have to be infuriatingly idiotic too? :x Anyway, they sorta' spoiled something about the Tribunal ep, "Membership Drive". Nobody is now in the Justice Force. And, there were two or three other characters I didn't recognize. Sweet, huh?
Leo's story was also very stylized to fit his character. I believe the VAs were all in their appropriate characters. Kon seemed to be a little less dramatic than I expected him to be. But, Juto, Kon, Chikara and Karai all sounded like I was expecting. Hisomi too! ^_^ When Karai kicked Leo to the ground after his bold accusations, I unintentionally cheered. :embarass: Leo gets too self-righteous at times for my liking. But, the part where Leo was banished from the Lap of the Gods seemed a bit overly harsh to me. Sure, Leo started a fight with Karai, but it was a reasonable mistake. Obviously, Leo wasn't willing to take her life over this misunderstanding or else Karai would have been killed long ago. But, leave it to the self-righteous to over-react. That story was a skillfully planned fable. I loved every minute of it. :D
Next up was Don's story. This one really confused me. I don't see how it had anything at all to do with the journal. It almost seemed like they only added that story because they felt obligated to pick on all four Turtles equally. So, I'm guessing that a quick memory wipe will be in order before they return home or else Don won't be able to invent anything without fearing karma's wrath. The part with Don wearing the glasses with the nose and moustache was annoying enough, but Donnie's brain in that jar with the bandana on was unnecessarily ludicrous, and removed any lingering doubt that it was all just made-up. Honestly, when the 'troms rolled out that cart, it popped into my head. I thought, "No friggin' way! They couldn't put him in Krang's android body. That would be impossible to pass off as solely parody which would cost them too much for likeness", so I was considerably relieved to see it was a Serling unit. That makes more sense for the new generation of or 'passive' viewers who have never heard of Krang. If it's only meant to be shocking and funny, then it should at least be fair to all the followers of this particular program. And, it accomplished exactly that.
Finally, we get to the story about Raph. His story clearly connected the journal to his consequences. But, the story was impossible to swallow. It was all centered around Raph knowing where the Purple Dragons were going to strike (even after the others skewed the timeline so much already). Until I read other people complaining about Hun's voice, I thought it was right. So, after rewatching it, I must have been thinking that it matches with the videogame voice, so it didn't stand out. When the videogames came out, everyone had the same thing to say about his voice. Even though I agree, I just grew accustomed to it. Anyway, Raph and Casey beat the whole lot of them when a Foot Mystic (in his wicker-basket motif) showed up. I think it was the Metal Foot Mystic that showed up since he was silver. If he could teleport other people, why didn't he ever do that before? And, why would he steal the guys' clothes? Gosh, that didn't even need to be said since it's all fiction within a fiction. :P I must be trying to clear something up for someone. :D Actually, for some reason, this last situation reminded me of when Daffy was put on that island in the surreal classic Looney Tunes ep, "Duck Amuck". Guess I'm just weird... :embarass:
So, for the conclusion, Ashton Kutcher jumps out of nowhere and tells the Turtles they've all been Punk'd as Cody and Splinter laugh their anuses off. How hilarious that episode was! Seriously... It was funny. It just disappointed me to think that this is the last ep that will be on the upcoming DVD. Even though it's Murphy's work, I have to say that it was NOT my favorite so far. It was just too episodic for me (as opposed to 'epic'). But, it was loads better than several earlier FF eps. You've done a great job, Murph. :) :tthumbsu:

1. Have the ratings and interest improved since going the route of FF?
2. Will the Turtles get back to their time?
3. Will the Ninja Tribunal DVD come out?
1: No idea
2: Yes cuz it was written so in the journal that they'd return from the future after being gone for a while (possably a month or more).
3: Yes... In March... in Australia and New Zealand..
And for those who haven't seen the ep but are curious about Casey being nude:

Feel sorry you're not wanting to get the DVDs just cause of the set-up of them. As it's rather doubtful Season Sets will be done (granted we're now getting larger amounts of episode per DVD release, but that's just Funimation's new set-up -- as not only is TMNT getting this treatment, but also Sonic X. And Yu-Gi-Oh, and Winx Club will be as well).
Sure a good 2/3rds of the eps. are out-of-order in the DVDs set-up of them, but heck can still watch them in order.

I wish!!! If they did I'd pre-order the DVD now! But they don't... Region 1 (U.S) is not compatible with Region 2 (Europe). Altho some dvds these days are being released that work with all regions....but from my understanding the ones (it's a 2 disk set) for Ninja Tribunal is not one of those dvds. :ohwell:

But come on, 'turtle power' rocks. :)

I always wondered why they couldn't just use the old toon catch phrases instead.
I'll take:
"Turtle Power"
"Go green machine!"
"Turtles fight with Honor"
"Let's kick some shell"
over "It's Ninja Time" anyday.
Man, the old toon really had some awesome catch phrases, didn't it?

actully you may be onto something...I always did wonder if the way she looked up to Baxter was more than just 2 scientists I wonder if she ever had a crush on Mr. Stockman.
I'm ashamed of myself for even noticing this, but rewatch "Insane in the Membrane". In the gondola, when Stockman is walking toward her, she drops to a rather submissive position. :sweatdro: However, she does the same crab-walk when running from the mousers, so... Or is this just a scandalous stretch of the imagination?

Finally got to see this episode.
I really liked it and I do think it would have made a good season finale. We're left with Darius and Sh'Okanabo plotting in the last episode and this episode is a bit more light hearted and shows that they will get home someday. The ending was perfect and I look forward to (hopefully) seeing that picture as the final image of the next season when Fast Forward (hopefully) concludes.
The stories were all good and (as others have said) fit the turtle in them. I loved Leo training with the Tribunal again!
The reappearance of 2K3 characters was extremely welcome, I didn't realise just how much I missed April and Casey! I really hope we can go back to normal after FF finishes next year!
I did notice (as others did) that the episode did seem to give somethings away about the Lost Season;
Fast Forward definately happens AFTER Ninja Tribunal as the TMNT know who the Tribunal are.
There were some new members in the Justice Force (most notably Nobody), who presumably came from the "Membership Drive" episode (which could be where the new TT costume first came from).
Leonardo being invited to train with the Tribunal again (along with Ancient One's comments in "More Worlds Than One") makes me think that he probably plays a key role in defeating the resurrected Shredder.
The Tribunal survived the events of "Beginning of the End" (Boardman's comments seem to confirm this)
I'm guessing that Karai becomes an ally after they team up to defeat Shredder in the final 3 episodes of the Lost Season. The summaries imply this and her being trained by the Tribunal seems to confirm it (or else it would not be a plausible story for Splinter to write)
Hun's still running the Purple Dragons, so even if he helps in the final battle he doesn't get reformed.
The Foot Mystic was probably just completely random, but it could also be (assuming that they're not killed/destroyed) they do get re-imprisioned in their more limited form following Shredder's defeat.
I know they were just stories Splinter made up but after watching this episode I really hope that Season 7 (8 if you count LS as 5) is back in the present. There's so many interesting stories they could tell and some great possibilities (Leo, Karai and the Tribunal for example) were shown here.
Btw did anyone else notice the subtle confirmation that when they return the TMNT won't have their future equipment? In the stories the TMNT all have colored belts and new knee and arm pads, but in the "Welcome Home" photo they have their normal belts and brown knee and arm pads.

Nobody and the guy with flame powers are the only new members of the JF that I saw. The gal with butterfly wings is Crysalis and the guy with water powers is the Japanese member, Tsunami. Both were last seen in the Triceraton invasion episodes, which also was where it was established that Metalhead and Silver Sentry were in it (with Metal Head being the oldest member) and it also established that Ananda (daughter of Dr. Dome and Battling Bernice) is the leader.

Ok, let's see...
Heh, I missed April and Casey (yes, even Casey!!) Though I felt the hug between Don and him upon returning home was... out of character. But whatever.
Mike and Leo's parts were boring, mostly... Don's started out good, but that brain with the bandana was stupid.
However...
I got my first real laugh out of FF with the Don=Serling thing. Then Serling comes up and... well... you know. Haha. I knew I kinda liked Serling for some reason!!
Hun's new voice sucks.
Now, April not with Casey, I can get behind! Heh. Finally a semi-interesting twist.
O...k...
Um, wow. Yeah, I didn't like it. Besides the very end (THANK GOODNESS!!!!) and that part with Serling and Don? Um, I was bored. Thought about skipping ahead on the show, but... I sat it out.
Perhaps if the individual stories would have been a bit longer. More fleshed out. Less Cody. Heh. I dunno... It just could have been... more.
I'm disappointed. I thought this one would have some sort of potential.

Hun's new voice is...his old voice.
It's hard to explain but my friend Bob (who has an awesome ear for this kind of stuff.) said (and thanks to modern technology I can prove it) that they just forgot to pitch the VA's voice down....kinda like the un-synthisized Soundwave gaff in a Transformers episode that left him sounding like Welker's Dr. Claw....same principle....only this needed to be pitched down.
So I did....(isn't You Tube grand?) and here it is....
