For those of you who don't remember me, (ha ha. Most of you. I'm from back in 2002.) My name is Kyabetsu. I still pop up from time to time, but to be honest, the ol' forum has grown beyond my ability to keep up.
Why am I back now?
Because that huge audience of people who love comics and have good humor and good taste is exactly who I need to talk to. I write for and ink a series of webcomics featured on INTERROBANGSTUDIOS.COM. (http://www.interrobangstudios.com)
Almost a year ago, I came here to let you guys know we were participating in "WEBCOMIC BATTLE (http://www.webcomicbattle.com)," and asked for support. You guys were awesome, and totally secured us First place. The battles continued for a while, but the website hit some rough patches and dropped offline.
well...
IT'S BACK!
http://www.webcomicbattle.com/
**CONTENT IS UNPREDICTABLE and WILL VARY IN RATINGS--but nothing over "R".**
You know how they have "kittenwar.com" and "puppybattalion.net" or whatever where you can click on the 'cutest' kitty/puppy/baby/tarantula?
This is like that! Artists have submitted their comics and each day a comic is paired with another submission. There's a 24 hour period of voting, and then a winner out of the pair is declared. The loser is retired with grace to a "hall of fame" (ranked according to how long they lasted in competition.) The winner gets a notch on their metaphorical belt and gets paired up with a new comic the next day. The goal is to last forever I guess....
BUT YES! Of course, we've submitted yet another one of Interrobang Studios' comics. However, the site holds many, many others, and our use of the site is not dependent on us begging votes out of you.
So go! Support MANY webcomics! Be honest! If we fall out, we'll just put up a BETTER one!
