I am planning on collecting these as a cool novelty. However, I really don't know what the manuals have in them. I've seen a few panels out of the Katana book but that's about it.

Does anyone have any of these? If so, can you summarize some of the contents (or even better, scan a few pages) for me? Thanks.

If you've seen a few pages of the Leo book, that should give you a good idea of what all of them are like. They pretty much use the TMNT to illustrate different moves for each of the weapons and in general.

I do have to take out my comic boxes tonight to put some recent acquisitions away; I'll see if I can find those.

Oh...I used to have one of these. I think that it got lost during my move. These training manuals illustrate each of the turtles and how they perform katas with their weapons.

I have one of these. It features Don and Raph and the moves they can do against each other - plus some unarmed techniques. The art style changed halfway through the book, which was a little weird... but it's fun to look through. And it makes me want to draw every time I look through it. :)

Not pages; panels. I got to see all of one technique, really. That's why I was hoping for a bit more a description.

More or less, if I got some scans I could more easily tell what styles of real life martial arts were being emulated.

Sweeeet!

Thanks!

Katori-Shinto Ryu, eh? Whoever thought I'd be learning something so prestigous (sp?) from a Ninja Turtles book?
