If this is true, this is definitely a celebrity voice I can handle being in this movie!

But it's not him (from what I can tell) saying the "Every 3,000 years..." line in the trailer, and I had assumed that was Max Winters. If not, I wonder who that is... (unless that's not the final voice)

Don't sound like Patrick to me. He's awesome. I loved ProfX....

I bet the "powers" are getting kicks out of us trying to figger out voices...

read what Kevin wrote in his last post in the Front Lines thread, I think he answered it already. Plus that may not even be his final voice that we heard in the trailer (kind of like how in the TMNT trailer they didn't have the final turtles voices) For all we know this could have been something they finalized recently

True. It's also possible that the voice we heard didn't belong to that character at all. We didn't see the voice matched up to Winters' lips, so it could just as easily be some other character's dialogue dubbed over for the sake of exposition.

Either way, I hope this news turns out to be true. I mean, who doesn't love Patrick Stewart?

I was about to say The Borg, but they did assimilate him at one point.

Patrick Stewart is a fine actor and has a great distinctive voice, that's cool news, especially as I'm a bit of a trekkie.

OMG!!! DUUDE!!! Patrick Stewart in a TMNT movie?! Being both a TMNT fan, a Trekkie, and a Picard fanatic this is like a dream come true if it's indeed true!! DUUUUDE... :o

Now I gotta find a good piccie of Max Winters.... OH and get his action figure just so I can have it stand next to my Capt. Picard action figure!

So... I have 2 people to drool over now in the movie... Raph and Max Winters (but only if he's indeed voiced by Patrick Stewart)

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
Good grief! Were all the Trekkies too excited to catch this setup or what? Sheesh... :P

It would be funny if he sends the monsters to off Johnathan Frakes for trying to upstage him back in TNG.

Wow. First Star Trek, then X-Men, now TMNT. I'm starting to run out of fandoms Patrick Stewart hasn't acted in. Not that I can see a downside to that.... :)

TREKKIE!? GAAAAAAAH...ugh...

I am a "Formal Admirer" of Star Trek first, a Trekker second but never ever a Trekkie. *shudders*

I never did understand why Trekker = correct and Trekkie = BAD.

I love Star Trek, call me what you will. :)

I've always ranked "Trekkie" as sounding better than "Trekker" on the Scale of Cool.

But I'm a 27-year-old ninja turtle fan so what the hell do I know? ;) (kidding!)

Haha, me too. ^_^

And while that's on the older side for TMNT fans, it's on the younger side for Star Trek fans (sorta). Trekkie vs. Trekker could be an age thing.

I've never been a fan of Star Terk, but I admire his work done as Charles Xavier. Charles was granted that sourt of. . .awesome property that a live-action version of him demanded. But just about any character he protrays has some kind of intelliectual perception, so I'm sure Winters will not be any different.
