in the old cartoon every once in a while they would show the turtles get a part time job, like mikey does when he becomes a pizza delivery guy, other than that the only thing i can think of is they maybe keep some money after they stop robbers or something, i've always wondered about this too

i think i remember reading some of that post before a long time ago (i've came to this site for a long time to read about stuff, but it took me until last month to actually get an account) there was some pretty amazing stuff people came up with, makes me wish i was that creative

I also heard that they sometimes did the collecting cans routine, and once in a while, Donnie would fix old things that were thrown away, like tv's and refrigerators and they would sell them to the thrift stores.

Has anyone read the TMNT Movie novel. At the end, April presents a comic book company the idea of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the ceo rejects the notion, saying it was too far fetched.

Well, what if another comic book company thougt it was a great idea, no better way to hide the Turtles existence than right out in the open. And can you imagine the cut of the profits the Turtles would have gotten?;)

Cool question. I hope not too many people say "it's just a cartoon," because thats the obvious reason, and the questionis for fun.

In the new cartoon, everytime they come along large amounts of cash from the bad guys, they do something charitable with it. There was an episode where they gave it to april to repair her shop, and in touch and go they gave the money to the old blind lady because she was poor.

I think they must have a credit card. Who knows how they got it, maybe it was stolen from the foot or something.

hehehe I wrote a short fan-story where the Turtles collaborated to write the script for the first movie and sold it off, getting a cut on the profits. :D
