What color is your soul? I consider mine to be grey, a sourt of dark grey. It represents a a specific quality of mellowness I tend to possess. Hell, I used to refer to myself as " The Grey " , and I managed to find a line that goes along with it.
"Between the light and the darkness, there is the grey. And within the grey, lies the most wonderful things."

I think mine is purple. That mix of hot and cold....sadness and passion....red and blue....yin and yang. Definitely purple.

My soul changes colours according to my mood, but normally it's a bright purple with some green highlights that sparkles and ensnares everyone around me and makes everyone fall in love with me instantly.
I think this thread is kind of silly, since you should at least have talked to a spiritual about this thing before claiming your soul is of a colour. And choosing colours for a website shouldn't be a reference guide to claiming what colour your soul has.
EDIT: And that online test is a load of crap. Seriously. So if you want to seriously talk about this, then go and talk to a spiritual. At least they know something about this stuff.

Sarcasm noted. I'm aware of how ridiculous the concept of this question is, however, it is just for fun. No one can truly know what colors their souls are, or even if there are such things as souls. So where do spiritualists get their insight, anyway?
Yeah, the thread may be silly, but all in good fun, I guess... *shrugs*
It's pretty hard to say since there is no references, but I'll go with Freak's find and just work with the color descriptions there. After all, if I went by a mood ring, I will be dark blue O_o
Mine is probably orange and black. I like to have fun, and am very cheerful. Yet I can have another side; very dark, brooding, and a bit moody, but both colors seem to be very artistic. That will do for me :)

Just a little something in between. You do realize that black isn't a particularily good colour in spiritual things, right? Let me give you a hint: It's not serious, thinking, brooding or depressed.
And no, I don't think claiming to have a black soul is funny or cool or anything.

White: Pure, fresh, easy, cleanliness or goodness
oh goodness gracious. I'm not thinking black = opposite of white, opposite of good, opposite of all that is right.
I'm thinking Black is dramatic, classy, committed, serious like it says

Thank God only every spiritual on the planet disagrees with that, because, like, what do they know anyways?
Black is a really bad colour for a soul, just don't go bragging with it. And the colour reference we have up there is for websites, not souls. And although Myspace's blogfunction pretty much is a load of soulcrap dumped on a website, it still doesn't qualify as an actual soul.
Here's something more accurate in that direction, (http://www.paralumun.com/auracolour.htm) although it's up to you whether you believe it or not. According to this, Mad Pirate was abused and tortured as a child and is addicted to drugs and Max Winters is terminally ill. Enjoy.
EDIT: You see, there's just a couple of things one does not mess with and make fun of. And that just happens to be one of those things. And I just happen to have a friend who claims to be able to see auras, and she's told me stuff about it I couldn't disagree with, simply because they're true. So while I don't necessarily believe in the thing that is referred to as a "soul" (hell, it could be called "Firetruck with cheese" for all I care) but there is something like it. And I don't think messing with spiritual stuff is such a good idea.

So, the sun's turned blue and the grass is red these days?
You see, when a whole lot of professionals agree on one thing, like "Black is seen around torture victims" and then one or two amateurs come along and say "No, Black is classy, stylish, like, sooo coool" then I'd rather believe the experts. Besides, I know it is there. I could tell you the story if you want me to. It's a sort of silly story, yet it proved to me, without a doubt that there's an aura or a soul or whatever you want to call it.
So, I hope Max doesn't have to suffer too long and that you got over it and didn't get that big of a trauma from it.

Small mod-intervention which is in no need of a commentary from anyone: Spawny, I wouldn't go bashing people for no reason at all. The local moderators kind of fret upon that. However, you can disagree with opinions, have a strong one of your own, you're welcome to do and have all that, but just don't make it personal or insulting. Otherwise, you'll have a lot of problems with the local authority.
Now, let's go on with the topic, since it is rather interesting.

Well that Personality colour test says Im Blue...
That aura colour site is odd...I've never seen so many colours for the aura. I already know mine is Crystal (have known for several years. Im even wearing my aura bracelet today. :D )
This website is the most accurate when it comes to Aura colours:
http://www.auracolors.com/
This is what it says about the Crystal aura:
Crystal is a rare Life Color. Crystals have clear auras and are known as the "aura chameleons." Like chameleons, their auras will change colors to match those of the people they are connecting with at the time. They then take on the characteristics, behavior patterns, emotions and thoughts of that color.
Consequently, in power Crystals can get along quite well with almost anyone. Yellows , for example, feels they can relate to Crystals who, when they are with them, act and think like Yellows . Later, when the same Crystals spend time with Sensitive Tans, the Tans can feel as if they have found kindred spirits.
However, the Crystals' inconsistencies can also confuse people. One minute Crystals think and behave like Greens . A short while later, they can act like Blues . The more they connect and bond with others, the more their personalities change.
Because Crystals tend to absorb the colors of other people's auras, people can, at times, feel an energy drain when they are in the presence of Crystals. In power, Crystals can be a clear conduit or channel for healing energy. Being natural healers, the Crystals' gift is to help their clients clear blockages, thereby enabling the clients' own natural healing processes to take place.
While healing, balanced Crystals are able to keep their thoughts and emotions out of the way, making the healing more pure. Crystals do not always understand their healing abilities. It can often frighten and confuse them or cause them to feel overwhelmed. These rare souls are often physically fragile and delicate.
Because of their unusual sensitivity, they can only heal one person at a time. They then need to go to a peaceful place to cleanse their aura. Working with too many people can short-circuit their system.
Here's a description of Soul Colours:
http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/bms/2062
And here's a What colour is your soul quiz: http://www.quizilla.com/users/DarkFireChild1990/quizzes/What%20color%20is%20your%20soul?/
For me it says:
Your soul is Green/Yellow. You are a very smart person in more ways then one. People always look to you for advice and you are happy to give it. Though you may not be physicaly stron in a fight you more then make up for it by out-smarting your opponits. You are a good friend to have because you will always help out when ever you can.

Was it necessary? Considering how reasonable Bunny and Max are trying to be, I don't think so. I'd go so far to say that's insulting. I'd expect you to "Intervene" if you saw anyone being that arrogant, friend or not. But you could defiantly afford to pick your words better. You don't agree with their choice, neither do I. But it is about opinion, whether it disagrees with yours or not. I wasn't insulting you, nor was I trying to get personal. But I don't believe what was said was necessary.
Otherwise, you'll have a lot of problems with the local authority.

Seriously, we're cool. I'll admit I probably overreacted, but what they said is just as valid as what you said. And you make it look like your throwing it back in their face. What would you do in the same position, moderator or not?

Are the color of your aura and the color of your soul the same? I figured they would be different... if indeed souls have a color. I can sometimes see auras (including my own), but I do not "read" them. :p

You see, I don't really think the soulcolours are debateable. Their meaning might be somewhat vague, but not to the extent of "It's classy, stylish and cool". That's like saying "Cars have triangular wheels" to me. The experts all agree on them being round so that they can roll, and two people keep talking about how triangular wheels are. So who'd you rather believe? And I know some people who are really into that stuff and they'd never accuse anyone, even as the worst of an insult to the rapist and murderer of their own mother that he'd have a black soul. So it's quite an insult.
So claiming to have a black soul and saying "You know, I was an abused child, tortured as an adult and now I'm addicted to drugs, but in a cool and classy way" does kind of sound idiotic. It's like "I have terminal cancer... in a cool way." Just doesn't work out.

Iris wanted the story, so here it comes: The story. So I was at this course where I basically hung out all day and talked to people. Nothing big. There was this one woman whom I befriended rather quickly. After five minutes of knowing me, she went "You're an aries, right?" which I am. So I was rather impressed. She explained to me that she believes in horoscopes and other, similar things. Then, one afternoon, I fell pretty bad on my knee and while it bled a little but twisted a sort of nerve, it was worse than just a scratch. Nothing I wouldn't have had before, but it left me with a limp for the next day and a half. And before we went into our classrooms, I usually hung out with the smoking crowd (since they were nicer people and outside) and so I sat there when I saw her driving up the road. She parked her car, came up to us, gave me a Red Bull (which I had won in a bet the day before) and went "Hey, what's wrong with your knee?" The whole time, I didn't move, I just sat there with the others and waited for time to pass. And I wasn't wearing shorts or a visible bandaid or something, so there was no way she could have seen it. I then asked her "What knee? Whose knee?" and she replied "Your right knee, does it hurt?". She then explained to me the whole aura-thing with colours and how she can see them. And she sees the changes in them too, that's why she knew that something with my knee was wrong. Lame story, no? But to me, this proved without a doubt that there is stuff like that and that it does work.

Okay, so for the sake of the thread I tried to take the color of my personality test and not just go off the original color list
It said I was yellow. It also had the picture of an old person on question #7. So once I finished laughing I clicked it away.
There are few tests that I find myself able to believe, especially when there are only 8 questions to judge my wholeness. There are many sides of me, even more as the glass has been shattered and had to be stitched back together. But that is another story.
I am intelligent, joyous, and organized though not very good at the whole cleaning thing.
I can be understanding but my patience level is low. I have anger issues especially when I can't process an emotion but I am also affectionate and can be as silly as the best of them.
I have hope eternal but I’m also a fatalist.
I am confident, friendly, cheerful, warm, and energetic. [Sometimes TOO energetic. Hehe}
I can be overly dramatic, serious and probably need to be committed.
I want to help everyone and would if I could and yet would be happy in solitude with just me and my computer down in the dungeon.
No, my soul is not black, aka bad aka a pit of pain, depression and sorrow. I am saying, however, that I do have the periods where my moods/life/aura/whatever you wanna call it can fit into nearly every color of the rainbow.
That said, I like black. I look good in black. It does not rule my soul, nor guide my life nor make me treat others like poopy-heads.
It’s a color. Oh-woo.

Well from the list posted I'd say the one I fit most to is Blue I guess.
To answer the quesiton: I have no idea what color my soul is. I'm not sure souls have colors. I have, however, always been strangely attracted to indigo. (which isn't quite right in this font color *shrug*)

That’s cool. I wish I had a story like that.
I’m of two minds about seeing auras. One, I think most aura perception can be explained by the retina exhaustion effect in the eye. I’m fairly sure that’s what I see. Helps me judge color palettes, but that’s about it. On the other hand, our senses collect a vast amount of information, only a fraction of which we are consciouly aware. Most people pretty much ignore this. But there do seem to be people like your friend who are aware of all their senses and can put them together to make an accurate picture. Maybe these people see auras in a different way: more through the mind and less through the eye. Kind of like the synesthetics who can smell colors or taste words.
The unconscious mind is much faster and more fluid than the conscious mind. Most people can’t make the connections between them... we've all had a strong 'gut feeling' about something that we can't quite explain, but that turns out to be right. But some people can connect the dots in remarkable ways. I think that’s ‘the fifth sense’ or whatever you choose to call it.
This website is the most accurate when it comes to Aura colours:
http://www.auracolors.com/
Very good find there, Raph's Girl. I came out with Magenta -
Magentas are rare and not commonly found on the planet these days. Magentas are the nonconformists in the aura spectrum. They are usually seen as bizarre loners. They see life from a different and unusual perspective. They don't choose to abide by society's mores, expectations or standards. They follow the beat of their own drummers.
Magentas love to shock people, to shake them from their ordinary, humdrum existence. For example, Magentas will walk down the street donning wild clothes and purple Mohawk hair cuts. Other people don't usually have the nerve or the desire to live the lifestyle of the Magentas .
Because of their outrageous behavior, Magentas prefer to live in large, crowded cities where they don't stand out as much and aren't pressured to conform. These free spirits aren't usually concerned about what others think, but in large cities they are more apt to have the freedom to express themselves.
So...does this mean my aura kind is on the brink of extinction? :|
That things said my "Life Color" (huh?) is "crystal."

My soul is a a vibrant and breezy shade of chartreuse...or perhaps harlequin!
Harlequin is the color that is halfway between the web color Chartreuse and the color green on the color wheel. It is a color that is 75% green and 25% yellow.
* In medieval times, jesters often wore a harlequin colored costume (the word harlequin is sometimes used as a synonym for jester).
* Harlequins, comic figures in Italian opera, sometimes wore harlequin colored costumes (apparently this is the source of the name of the color).
* Because of its association with jesters and harlequins, the color harlequin is often used in costumes for mimes, the theatre, and opera.
I don't think. I know, because I just asked my friend. Rang her out of the bed, she was rather annoyed. She also tells you that online tests are rubbish. Go to a spiritualist if you really want to know.
