With the Zulli TPB coming out it looks like Mirage is finally going back and releasing the old issues in TPB, which issues would you most like to see released?
I would love for City at War to be released so I don't have to put so much time and money into tracking down the original issues. Same to be said about all of Volume 2. Also Leatherhead Too, Masks 1 & 2, and Shades of Grey 1 & 2 seem to be in a natural part of the order to go together.

It's already been confirmed that the continuity issues will be collected over the next couple of years, which issues that includes however remains to be seen. The Zulli trilogy is a special TPB - it's almost like an "Elseworlds" turtles book, as opposed to a number of the other stories that sat in the world of the original books and used that universe to tell their stories. I'm sure we'll be seeing them reprinted sooner or later... though my money is on later!

Ebay is probably your best bet.

I'd love to see trades of:
First 11 issues by Eastman & Laird, + 4 Turtle One-Shots
Issues 12-15, 17-18, 27, 28 (early continuity)
Issues 42-47 (approx. when the continuity came back)
Return to NY
Shades of Grey + City at War
Tales of TMNT Vol. 1 #1-7
The River Trilogy & Issue 30 by Veitch
Volume 2

I definitely would love to see the 'The City at War' series in TPB form as I do have a few issues from that saga, but not all of them. It would be cool too if they threw in the 'Shades of Grey' books as well.

The first 11 issues plus the four turtle one-shots have been collected...It's rather hard to find these days, but I managed to pick up a copy off eBay for $28. It's called the "Collected Book Volume I". They did the collected books up to #29 (Return to New York was Volume 4, the Time Travel ones were Volume 5, the River was Volume 6, and 27-29 was Volume 7), and then The Collected Tales of the TMNT. I managed to find a copy of that one at a UK bookstore online, cost me $32 for seven issues, but there's also a Nobody story that's only found in the Collected edition (it was the basis for the 2K3 episode "Still Nobody").

They really need to reprint Collected Book #1. I thought now would be a good time given the movie. And yeah I'm bitter about losing an auction, hence the desperation for wanting a new release. :)
Also I've heard a lot about City At War and would like to see that in a trade. I had one issue when I was a kid, but had no clue what was going on because I only knew of the cartoon.
Also, where are these trades available? I'm looking through Amazon and can only seem to find the kiddie books.

I finally caved and ordered Books II-V, as well as a reprint of issue one. I'm looking forward to reading these, as someone who grew up on the cartoon as a kid I've liked reading issues one through four and seeing the original concept. I'm sick of waiting for the reprints of these.
I'll have to check Panel to Panel out. Thanks.
Too bad they don't have Volume One anymore, but I'm not surprised. The Volume Ones are always the ones everyone wants. I guess I'll have to get lucky on eBay or get it when its reprinted, whichever comes first.

Volume 2 would be awesome to see in TPB as well, but I sincerely hope that it's all in one TPB as it was very short (12 or 13 issues if I'm not mistaken). If they attempted to break that up into more than one TPB, that'd be such an obvious attempt at sales milking, not to mention a lame gesture to the fans. Not saying that I think or even expect that to happen, it's just that being a comics dork pretty much my whole life, I've seen my fair share of TPB collection rip offs. Hell I've seen it in TMNT; remember Image's attempt to collect their (again short) Volume 3 series in TPB form? Much like the series itself they never finished, at least to my knowledge.

I actually found the first Image TPB at the Comic Con a few years ago. Still haven't gotten around to reading it actually.
As far as Volume 1 goes, those issues seem to be almost twice as long as your average comic so I can see why those trades only cover 3-4 issues. Still, having issues 1-11 in one book was really cool.
I've got a question regarding trades. Would "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol Tundra" consist of the first issues? Or could that also possibly be something else?
