Hmmm... I didn't like Zack... I know he was meant to be like the 'how cool would it be if YOU were a TMNT' but I still think he was a lame and annoying character. Him, his brother, his lil grilfriend and any other annoying kids he brought into the show.

Didn't like Mr. Ogg. Didn't like Dregg or Carter.

Zack. That little bastard.

Also Irma and Vernon.

I hated their depiction of Wingnut & Screwloose. They were some ugly SOBs. The Archie versions were perfect.

Zack. That little bastard.

Haha. Agreed.

Lesse. Bebop. Rocksteady. Irma. April (if we're talking old toon). Any stupid character... I'm positive there's more.

But if we're talking other genres, then that's a whole other story.

I think Keno is probably my least favorite character ever.

And Carter was kind of a cartoon version of Keno, so I wasn't fond of him, either.

Irma and Vernon. Really...

Other than those, Mutagen man, Baxter as a fly, Zack and his friends. Alot of the bad guys were really annoying, like that garbage monster thing. Tokka was so friggin dumb and stupid in the show that I hated him. Dregg also comes to mind.

I have many others, I just need to think about it, and watch some episodes...

oh come on, how can u not like bebop and rocksteady? they were always good for a laugh....and although zack, walt and kaitlyn were kinda annoying, they weren't that bad. I also liked Dregg, the bad guys i really wasn't fond of was the Mutants from the Red Sky Era, also the bad guy in the bugman episode. Bern and Vernon were just annoying but were kind of essential to the news room. Other than that i can't really think of any characters i hated

Agreed. They were TERRIBLE in the show. Weirdo army men from outer space? Pretty stupid, even for an 80's-90's cartoon show.

I also really didn't like Dregg and Mung. There are some other specifics, but I can't remember any old toon ones now.

As far as the new series... I don't like Hun. But then of course, we're not supposed to like him. I also used to hate Biggles and Serling, but they grew on me...like a fungus.

Vernon.

Nowadays I can't watch the old 'toon and think it's so awesome like when I was a kid but that's because nowadays I prefer the implied violence of the new toon that wasn't in the old toon.

Michealangelo.

I can only listen to that ****er talk about pizza for so long before I lose my patience.

And like most everyone else, Irma and Vernon were pretty awful. I didn't mind them when they were just background characters there to deliver a punchline or two, but when whole episodes revolved around them ("Attack of the 50 Foot Irma"...ugh) I couldn't stand it.

I liked Slash's personality and characterization, but HATED his redesign. He had a metallic headband and ridiculous buck-teeth. They really shouldn't have messed with his look, since in the Archie comics, he looked awesome.

To be honest alot of the characters sucked. Or they were based off cool toys and Archie characters but they looked lamer and talked like retards.

Little kids piss me off period so Zach is #1 on my hate list. I also hated Leo. He was such a prick. "DUR I LEADER YET I LEADER NOTHING" If it wasn't for Don in the old series they wouldn't have gotten anywhere. Don did everything. I hated when they had Leo say something smart that Don should have known.

I really hated Ogg, Vernon the female hating metro was quite annoying to but it was fun to see him get owned all the time. Irma was just stupid. I mean she had a mental disorder.

The secondary characters in the old toon were pretty hilarious. Vernon cracked me up with his goofiness... Irma was rather strange, but I didn't mind her, either.
I didn't like Zack much, it was just the way the character was done, can't really explain why, though. Then in the red sky series, I didn't like Dregg. And in FF, it's the same sort of thing going on with the red haired kid, forgot his name, the Dunn guy and the other characters. Just... lame. Didn't pay enough attention to them to assess why I didn't like them.

Out of all the characters I saw in the old series Vernon really takes the biscuit. He deserves to be listed alongside Scrappy Doo as a cartoon character that deserves to be shot with a magnum :P

Surprised so many people hate Vernon and Irma. I always thought they were good for a laugh. They were both not normal people, which was what made them funny.

Yeah, I didn't care for Zack much either, or his brother. Meh. I also didn't like what Slash looked like in the original cartoon.

I also found it funny that Leo spent a good deal whining in the original show. Don ended up making most of the plans for the Turtles, and Leo just followed with his ideas.

I can't believe all the news people hate!!! I liked the whole news room scene of the old toon. And how can any one hate Irma and Vernon they where both comedic gold! Especially Irma with her cross specious inuendo.

And Zack was a nice character and not nearly as corny and annoying as other featured fan boys that appear in cartoons such as this. Zack was tolerable and didn't give off that gay "i'm in love with the main characters" vibe. Although I will admit I wasn't to found of him as a kid, but eventually grew on me recently.

The characters I didn't really care for was April's detective Aunt whats her name. I don't know i just didn't care for her to much. I found her a bit annoying.

other characters I don't like are:

Mr. Ogg

The two male netrinos (seriously what was the point of them)

most of the psudo mobster gang villans

Lady Venus

I can't believe I had not seen this thread earlier.

From the OT:

- Mr. Ogg. What a pointless episode.
- Dregg. They could have done a better head villain. Like say, Karai.
- Burne's girlfriend Tiffany.
- Mung
- Carter was okay, but there were way too many episodes focused on him. As if they writers had ran out of Turtle ideas.
- Slash certainly was better in Archie.

From Archie:

- Bellybomb sure looks like he would make a big stink.
- Adolf Hitler, of course.

From the NT:

- Torbin Zixx

Hitler was in the Archie comics?:o

I have to say after rewatching that first Zak episode that he's pretty annoying.

I think Bebop and Rocksteady would have made great additions to TMNT lore overall if they hadn't been portrayed as such bumbling idiots and showed some competence now and then. Although I'm not sure how they would have fit in Mirage. I mean, you could toughen them up and everything, but I don't know how'd they be written in. What their origin would be with Shredder usually being dead.

I'm kind of indifferent about Irma. Maybe because I think her big episode, her literally big episode, 50 Foot Irma, could have been more interesting if it was April that became a giant out of a sci-fi movie. She could have gone on about how finally she was guaranteed to have the big story before everyone else.

Zach and anybody related or friends with him were pretty annoying. Vernon and Irma didn't bother me too much, but their jokes became really really predictable. It was like watching Married...With Children, seriously, if you ever watch MWC, you can guess exactly when specific types of jokes will come up and in time, you'll be able to state the exact joke word for word.

Anyway, I didn't like the Neutrinos much either, their slang was very corny but other than that, they didn't bother me. Irma's piano-playing boyfriend was annoying, even though he was only in a couple episodes. I don't like Pinky McFingers or whatever his name is. The tickler guy was weird. I thought Slash was an interesting addition, I would've liked it if he were more permanent.

Every now and then Raph's humor bothered me, but not enough for me to dislike his character. I do prefer the comic version of him where he's more of the badass of the team.

I liked the Punk Frogs, but I would have gotten annoyed if they were more commonly-used characters. Leatherhead was corny, too, but not predictable, so I didn't hate him.

I didn't like any aliens from that show, ever. It's like there were absolutely no threatening or violent aliens in that universe.

I mostly disliked everyone who wasn't a character from the first season. (I'm not really good with change.)

I always hate kid characters. God, we're watching teenagers because they're cool; I don't wanna watch effing kids. As such, Carter was okay.

Any particularly outrageous mutants or aliens kind of annoyed me, too. I usually just wanted to watch the Turtles.

I did not like the neutrinos. But I do like Neutrino on these forums. :)

I wonder why they made Leo such a wuss, too. He wasn't nearly as smart as in other versions. He would boss people around without knowing what was going on. I agree that they all needed Don way more; I wonder if that was intentional on the writer's part ... a sort of anti-authority thing. But then Leo would jump in and save the day at some point. He did seem to be the best fighter.

I couldn't stand Shredder's mom. They missed out on a great oppertunity to give us a glimse into Shredder's childhood but they had to go and make her a generic mother hen-esch mom.

Pretty much any character who appeared in only one episode and then never again. Except of course, Mona Lisa. She was just too lovable!

The OT series pretty much jumped the shark after the episodes when the Technodrome travelled from beneath the Earth's crust to Dimension X, and a lot of cheesy villians got introduced.

From before that time, I disliked Mr. Ogg, or Usagi Yojimbo as depicted in the series (yes he was supposed to be a fish out of water, but he was depicted as a total idiot!), and Vernon Fenwick, though at least he was supposed to be an annoyance to April O'Neil. The Neutrinos and the Polarisoid didn't seem so annoying, or even Zach, but fortunately they were used only long enough so they didn't wear out their welcome.

I admit I was older than you when I first watched the show. Maybe Zach made you people all jealous!

I was around Zach's age when I watched the OT during its peak, yes.

But I still envy him and Angel and Cody for being able to be such good friends with the Turtles.

I do not dislike any of them. Nor Usagi in any of his apparitions. It takes much more than that for me to dislike a character.

On the other hand, Torbin Zixx is a tough pill to swallow.

For the OT, I really didn't like Hokum Hare, Zach, Carter, and any of the mobster/gangster villians.

And I actually like Vernon. He was a great character that everyone seems to love to hate.

For the new toon, I really can't stand Serling and Torbin Zixx.

Firstly, lemme just say, Dregg is a waste of a perfectly good Tony Jay. And Mung's panting... well... I'll just end there before it get's X-rated.

And as for Slash being better in Archie Comics, quite a few characters were better in Archie IMO. Leatherhead (though I still love him no matter what) and Wingnut and Screwloose are prime examples.
