Company loyalty; after all these years(Konami, Playmates)

I was just thinking, how cool it is after a decade and a half the original three TMNT related companies: Mirage(home), Playmates(toys), and Konami(video games) are still right there with the TMNT. How cool is that>

Im hoping the new video games are in line with the fun of the first TMNT arcade game. I know the temptation is there to go '3d maxpane'(in terms of engine mechanics) but if they could keep some type of 2d/2.5d perspective and the visceral fun of the arcade games there, I think we'll all be quite glad.

the video game will probably go with the new cell shading engine that has been used on the new cartoon superman game and other games such as sly cooper, it makes the characters look exactly like they do in the cartoons.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo...dont get me wrong, that style works cool in a Hip Hop urban funky type game like Jet Grind, but man....

Yeah i'm glad konami will be making the games, it's one of my fave game companies.
I like cell shading, tmnt and konami so what else could i ask?Oh yea...
