Indeed, LeSean Thomas has done a lot of slick work. He especially did a great job with the character designs on The Boondocks.

Anybody but Lawson....I'll even tolerate that weird snapperturtle looking artwork...they look stupid but it's better t han lawson's clunky, boxy people and chicks who look like men

Yeah, I hear ya. I was disappointed to read that Lawson is drawing Tales of the TMNT #34.

Yeah but the story looks intresting.

Anyway, I still mantain my belief that Lawson's work would be better complemented if the books were in color. But maybe Pete should really look into bringing in a new artist for a while, at least until Lawson finds his stroke again.

As beautiful as the art is for a lot of the artists in the TMNT books (and I like all of them) to me nothing really compares to when Eastman and Laird were drawing the books themselves.

No offense, Dooney is an EXCELLENT artist, but to me, his turtles look WAY too bulky and muscular.

Yeah but that shot in TMNT/Savage Dragon 2 where Leo, Mikey, and Don are jumping down to aid Raph and Dragon looks so kickasstacular.

I like Chris Allan (like there was any doubt...:P Archie is still my favorite TMNT comic.)
I do like Dooney's work. (He did do the first Archie arc...the adaptation of the 1st 5 episodes...:P) Pete and Kevin are also awesome. They started it all after all. I also like Dan's stuff.

Eastman & Laird
Eric Talbot - issue 17
Chris Allan
That Brazilian Guy who did Tales #12 (w/ Shadow & Raph in Paris), can't remember his name
Veich
Dooley
Lawson (circa Vol. 1) I think he's good with layouts, maybe a different inker would give him more of that early look again.
Whoever did Vol. 1 issue #33? (the only one that was in color)
