Keep in mind, I love most animals. I respect their brutal, wild natures. And I feel they should be left alone in their wild habitats, undisturbed. However, I ask you, have you ever had a dangerous, unsettling encoutner with a wild one? If so, please describe it.

There were some coyotes in the neighborhood I grew up in...they packed up and chased my neighbor's cat up a tree late one night. I woke up to them snatching her off the trunk of a tree right infront of my window. Needless to say, the cat didn't make it....
I have never had any real run ins with wildlife....but I got chased up a tree by a nasty goat once...

My dog is definitely a wild, ferocious beast of battle. Forged by nature's hard life and steeled by preying on the innocent. Yes, Jay's a real best.
I was bitten by a dog once, frenchkissed by my mutts and once, a cat clawed me. But that's about it. Do bugbites count?
And then there's the cooties... AAAGGH!!! She's after me.
I was attacked by birds a few days ago while walking to class. There were like, 4 of them. It was ridiculous.
Ah, this has to be my favorite animal attack story
When I was 6, I was down at my uncle's farm with my cousin, who was a year older than me. He had a new kiddie motorbike he wanted to ride, so we both went to see it. On the way, we saw one a turkey. Now, this turkey was EVIL! Evil I tells ya! It started to follow us. We look behind us and quicken the pace a little. It gains speed. We brake into a jog. It full out runs after us, gobbling for blood. We scream, run as fast as we can to the motorbike, hop on, and take off at max speed. We sigh with relief, I look back, and I see the turkey running after us, like a deamon from hell. I scream, my cousin screams, and he rides through a paddock. The turkey gave up after a while, but ever since that day, I have an undieing hatred for the said feathered creatures

on the day of my fiancee's graduation, me and her family went to the university to see her graduate. I hadn't had anything to eat all day, and had been sitting there for hours, starving. so when it finished i went to burger king whilst she was getting her pictures done (bk was just like a 2 minute walk.) i grabbed a burger and started walking back up the road to see her. i opened the burger and took a bite out of it when i felt a slap on my back. i got a scare, and went to turn around both ready to fight incase it was a mugging or greet a friend, incase it was a friend messing about. instead it was a bloody seagull, with one of its wings beating across my back and its beak snapping in the air. it snatched my burger and flew away, where it flew into the middle of the road and started fighting with another seagull. all these people were looking at me as if to say did that just happen? i didn't have any more money on me and was in a hurry to get back to karen so couldn't get to the bank machine, as i didn't want to miss anymore of her big day, so i then spent the next couple of hours hungered, belly rumbling, til we finally got something to eat.
*footnote : dunno bout you guys, but the seagulls in aberdeen are massive, what with this being a seaside city, and i aint gonna lose a finger over no burger!

I got chased by a herd of deers while out horse ridding a couple of years ago, i hadnt done anything, me and my horse (It wasn't Comet) were proper scared. My horse actually galloped all the way home which was like 20mins at the speed we were going.
Doesnt sound that scary? Imagine 30 deer all coming at the same time as if they were attracted to you in one way or another. *Shudders* Dont get me wrong i love deer, normally, i think their beautiful, but when your on top of a flighty animal with a mind of its own, at that point i really hated them.

My friend has a couple of mad made ponds behind his house. My and my other friend went to hangout but no one was home. So we grabbed a couple of their fishing poles and went back to the pond. Our frined told us they had some crazy geese back there. Well we saw a couple geese and they started to walk toward us. A few minutes later we heard a weird hissing sound(Do geese even make hissing noises? lol) and they attacked us. I got away, barely.

My brother got stung twice by a scorpion at one of our friend's house. Our friend sometimes let his scorpion get out of his aquarium. Its never for very long, just to ''play'' with it, teasing it, filming it on the desk, ya know, only things you could really do with those animals. The scorpion was incredibly docile and calm, never tried to run away or sting anybody. We were able to take it in our hands no problem.
My friend even played computer games while the scorpion was there on the desk right beside him. Never got stung.
But one day the scorpion got pretty agitated while on the desk. A relatively large house spider managed to climb on the desk. That surely did trigger something in the scorpion because my friend just had time to see it run like crazy toward the spider without having time to do anything. My brother caught the now crazy beast and while the scorpion was in his hand, it stung him a first time before falling on my brother's leg.
Where it, this time, accidentely stung him while struggling to get back on his 8 little legs.
Damn spider, she got killed by moi... We fed the spider to Maurice (great name for an arachnid huh?..) and my brother felt dizzy for about 15 minutes, but that was it. It was an emperor scorpion, and they are not dangerous for us. But they are very big. Maurice was 12 inches long from the tip of his stinger to the tip of his enormous pincers.
So there you go. This chronicle is now over...

Those crazy birds might be up to something, beware.

RUN MITCH RUN!
Back in high school, I was walking home when I saw a squirrel sprint in front of me and leap onto a tree. It climbed the tree and set itself on a branch and perched there, staring across the street. As I got near, I looked up at it. Getting closer still, it jerked its head at me and tensed with a squeak. I thought it was going to leap at me and I jolted, but kept walking. I passed the tree and the squirrel unharmed and continued on my way home.
That's the closest I ever came to being attacked by a wild animal.

I've had many animal experiences, I don't fear them I respect them. If you go into their territory, they will tell you GO AWAY. This is MINE!
Those geese...I have no fear of them. If you sit down lower than the geese, they will realise you mean no harm. I did that and the flock of about 6 geese sat around me! One right next to me and let me pet him! Beautiful birds. Yes Geese hiss, it's a warning.
I've been bitten, stomped on, kicked in the back by a horse(my fault!), crapped on by snakes, I love animals.... :P
Oh yes, I've been nipped by my largest female red ear slider, Tokka..she's a biter.

Oh jeez, that fight woulda lasted for about 5 seconds. And trully, we were all shocked to see the speed of the scorpion, took us by surprise. We just wanted to be sure that the scorpion wasn't going to fall on the floor, that would've killed good old maurice. And I hate spiders, so I enjoyed doing the dirty job

Letsee....One summer my grandfathers hunting camp was overrun with chipmunks and he assigned me and my cousin to irradicate them...well....let me tell you....rodents are vicious! They chased us and even ganged up on us! Evil....just Evil.
Then...again with the rodents....my high school had an Agriculter/Equine class and it had a BIG rat problem. I was in the horse barn evaluating the damage of chewed up feed barrels and the teacher asked me to pick up and move the hay pallet so we could sweep up all the contaminated feed. So...like a dummy I picked the hay pallet up....and like 20 rats scurried from underneath. I was scared to drop the pallet because a fellow student was nearby and I didn't want to drop it on her toes. So....needless to say I had terrified/violent rats (HUGE rats) running over my shoes....and up my leg! No bites...but man was that creepy.
I do have various other stories of being bitten, kicked, scratched and thrown....but they were by more domesticated sorts of animals.
