As some of you know I work at a grocery store and working there I see some products that make me cringe or out right laugh. Here are some:
Kandoo. Some of you may have seen this. it's the most well know and biggest name brand in this little excursion. The product that made cringe the most outta this line is the moist wipes. The reason is this picture:

Nothing says "Gonna sell millions" like a cartoon frog wiping his hinney.
Sylvia: Queen of Soul Food's Crispy Fried Chicken. This to me just seemed like one of the most racially charged products I've ever seen. You be the judge.

it's a Fire Fighter Dog Lighter. I wish I could have been there for the planning session on this one:
"What's a good new way to market a lighter?
"We could put a lighter doggy head in a rubber doggy body..."
"That'll work brilliantly. Kids everywhere would love to have a rubber doggy toy with a lighter for a head."
Worst...Product...Ever.

the dog lighter could be lawsuits.. kid burning their hands thinking it's a toy.
the first one is seen commerical of kids going to teh bathroom then this animated frog or something whips out that product. "Now your king of the something"

Haha those are great Jester, especially the fried chicken.
O_O *shudders uncontrolably* Can't...take...eyes...off...frog... :dead:
But that dog really takes the cake. A lighter disguised as a dog. What WILL they think of next?

I've always found the Bratz dolls to be very creepy...this kicked it up a couple of notches.
Wait...they had those lips when they were babies? *shakes her head*
What about these guys? They creep me out to no extent. Especially since they have a children's show...

The Boo-Bahs? o_O
I believe so *looks closely at the pictures* No matter what they are called, they are pretty creepy once you view 5 minutes of their TV show *hides under her couch*

One time around 3 AM my roommate and me were watching TV. We were flipping around and we hit this kids channel. It had no picture just sound. Well it was Boo-bah and watching it without picture creeped me the hell out.
I also remember flipping around and finding a show with a hamster in it who rode around in a flying shoe. What made it funny was it was live action.

How about these little gems:
Poop Soap
What the world needs now is some soap that looks like poop.
"Nope It's Soap" claims to have a coffee scent, and can be used as an exfoliator.
Got a kid with a dirty mouth? Tell him you're gonna wash his mouth out with this!
The manufacturer claims that each pile of soap is hand made, and unique, no molds, no mass production. Just like the real thing.
Meat Seasoning Inside Shotgun Shells
Season Shot is the name of a new type of live ammunition containing buckshot loaded with meat seasonings.
When you shoot a bird (with a real shotgun) the buckshot disintegrates inside the flesh and releases its flavorings.
The idea came about with two guys who wanted to find a solution towards people breaking their teeth on buckshot when eating pheasant or turkey.
Season Shot comes in varieties of Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Garlic, Teriyaki, and Honey Mustard. Supposedly, they won't be available on the market until 2007.
Diaper Harness for Doggies
The STA-ON diaper harness is used to keep diapers on dogs, whether young puppies, untrained adult dogs, or elderly incontinent dogs.
The idea is the invention of Dorrie Krenkel, who grew tired of diapers that kept falling off of her dachshund, Bucky.
The harness is intended to work with babies' diapers (you just poke a hole to pull the tail through), and you can get the harness in a variety of colors. They sell for $12.95 for the smallest size to $16.95 for the largest.
Beer and Champagne in the Same Bottle
Now you can drink beer and champagne from the same bottle!
New from New York-NY-based Cobra Beer Inc. is "Prestige Champagne Lager" described as the most innovative beer to date, combining a bubbly with a brewski.
The label literature says "This holiday season have your beer and your champagne too!"
The company says it's an 8 percent ABV, bottle-conditioned champagne lager, and goes on to say that it's double fermented in Belgium's world famous Rodenbach brewery, bringing out all the subtleties and character of its fine ingredients.
Add more glam to your beer and more fizz to the party circuits this holiday season.
Available in 750ml glass bottles, with retail price between $10.99 to $12.99.
There's a few more I dare not post here......That's your warning ;)

There's one I saw in Meijer once with my mom... we wished we'd had a camera or something, because who would market a product this way? It was a stand with tubes of diaper ointment with the brand name Butt Paste.
Gee, I want to buy five. Right now. :trazz:
