After months of waiting, we finally get a very nice action group shot pose...and all I can say is, wow. To say I am excited about this cartoon is an understatement. The new character designs kick a**, the new logo rocks...just less than a month now.
And for those folks that somehow dont like anime...yeah, there's not a hint of anime or manga inspiration in these designs;) *wink wink*

Yep, thanks for posting em. Im curious to see what everyone's thoughts are, as of right now on the new designs...and also about the anime influence on the designs. All I know is they look better than ever now!
It just boggles the mind how a TMNT fan couldnt like anime of any sort. I mean I could understand hating the crap on Fox Box and WB, that stuff is unbearable...but there is no denying the anime and manga influence in TMNT.

Oh totally. Look at Disney's Tarxan and Atlantis. Or a lot of the action related cartoons like Jackie Chan adventures. Heck, a good 75% of comic books today are somewhat manga influenced. So to deny the anime/manga style is bafling, as there has got to be something the person likes that has some sort of influence from it.

I'm guessing most of that kind of people only know the americanized anime crap that's in foxbox and wb, so they start hating anime in general  it's pretty sad.
I agree anime has influencied most western animation aswell...i guess since it has become so popular and they gotta cash in they've started using anime styles for their cartoons...the tmnt toon looks american enough for me tho.

Haven been a long time aniome fan since I was little, I feel sorry for kids today. No wonder so many people dont like anime. Look at the absolute horrific garbage on tv...Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, Mon coli, Medabots, Kirby, MUSCLE, Card Captor, freaking yu Gi Oh(man, comic shop owners got kids hooked on yu gi oh cards like some sort of crack)
I feel bad, because when I was little and growing up, we had the cool anime on tv. Transformers, Robotech, voltron, Orgus, Transor Z, Thundercats, etc.

I happen to like digimon, it's the only americanized anime that somehow kept the original plot in the american show, and dubbing wasnt bad either, which is rare in anime.
But the rest is, i'm sorry, pure crap...here in argentina they're airing some pretty good animes series/movies (akira, ghost in the shell, evangelion, all the saber marionette series, list goes on) but in america...well most people think anime is only what they're airing in foxbox, which gives it a bad name to general people :ohwell:

They show Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Neon Genesis(my three fave animes ever) on TV there? Sweet. Yeah, most folks just know what they see on kids tv and think that's anime...sad.
Oh ya know, maybe I shouldnt have put digimon in there. The show is th eonly kiddy anime show that looks crisp and clean, uses cgi, and just looks nice. Pokemon, Medibots, Fighting Foodons just make me wanna hurl.

Yeah...well if you dont like digimon i'll respect your opinion as i understand it's not the most mature anime ever, but i just thought it was one of the only animes worth watching in all that foxbox line.
Yup they did showed those movies and evangelion, in a channel called locomotion ( www.locomotion.com ) it's one of my fave channels since it shows uncut anime, since here, while the animes are more true to the original scripts than most american ones, they do cut stuff here and there, but fortunately this chan doesnt..
