DC's next big event is "World War III" and it takes place during either week 40 or 50 of 52. Whether this picture is related to that event or not, I don't know. Nobody really does, but it could have to do with the secret message hidden in one of the last 52s and the new JSA.

Okay, it's week 40. This week's Fifty-Two revealed a lot about what's coming. And the main Adversary will be Black Adam.

And all I have to say is: Didn't we have him as the scourge of the DCU about 40 weeks back?

Wondering what the next major event is for DC after 52?? Why it's ANOTHER weekly series called Countdown. This series starts in May and will have 52 issues. The catch? It's numbered backwards so it starts with issue 52. :ohwell:

Sounds cool but to tell the truth I'm getting tired of all these huge cross overs by Marvel and DC, sure there really fun but damn do they hurt the pocket book. I cant wait to see what this will lead into but I think I'll also sit this one out until the trades come out.

If they do it like Marvel's Civil War, then Countdown will suck. But if they handle it like they handled 52, a sort of "What else is happening in the DCU?"-series, then I can see this being good.
