For the next version of the turtles in the figure line i am looking for more poseable figures w/ ball joints at the knee, new facial expression: eyes mouth ect. and their colored weapons and they would probably come w/ other cool gadgets. what are you looking forward to?

I forgot to mention this, since not many people besides hardcore ninja turtle fans would want a saki figure, i bet if they make him, which i hope i think it will be a quick change saki, where you can put his shredder outfit on him. What ya think?

I dunno, its sounds like Saki will be just as active in the new show as his other persona Shredder. I think we can expect to see him in action figure form sooner or later.

Personally, I think it would be awesome if the the next versions looked like the original Mirage style like that Leo statue. I know they won't be though, but I could see Playmates releasing a set of them like that in the not-so-distant future. On an interview I saw somewhere they said that they might make them if there was strong demand.

I agree with all your suggestions. More articulation. I'd love to be able to pose the guys in a crouching position.

Bendy hands would be a plus. You'd be able to pose the figures any way you like.

Darker colors for the face masks.

New talking turtles would be nice, but with a button instead of those strips they used to use.

I hated those strips

yeah they were annoying. The figure's voices sounded strange too.

LOL! I just got those talking figures last weekend! But, yes, I agree, they do sound weird, and it's really hard to get the right rhythm down to actually hear them, but I laughed and had fun with them anyway. :D

As for what I'd love to see: Bandanna-less turtles. Rowr.

it'd be nice to have figures where the belts/pads/bandana's are all removeable, with no tracks or anything for them. they'd actually have some cloth accessories =)

The TMNT's knee and elbow pads hide joints really well. I'm surprised that we haven't seen double joints like the Marvel Legends figures. I would also love to see a Shredder that is NOT stumpy. What is with Playmates and stumpy legs. Splinter shouldve had a bendy tail, too.

I like the colored weapon ideas as well as the cloth masks, and padding. I'd go for those. But then I'd go for TMNT with moveable legs God forbid. ;)

haha. i can see them at a press conference now

"We need moveable legs!"

"You can move them! twist them to the left, to the right...all in postitions where they can't stand at all"

"You showed me; they are prefect! Now, on to the issue of making yet another shredder with really weird leg positions...."

Are the legs really that bad?

Nah, the aren't that bad, they're just not that good either. You can move them about the same amount as the original ones from the 80's. All they really need to be perfect IMO would be swivel joints at the knees just like the ones they have at the elbows.

Does anyone agree with me about having some figures that look like the original Mirage style like the new Leo statue? I think they'd be awesome. In fact, they could probably just rerelease that 'Ninja Action' series from '93! See look! http://www.ninjaturtles.com/toys/1993/samleo.htm

also removeable bandanas would be cool like once you remove the mask w/ painted on white eyes when removed you could see their pupils, thats what they said it will be like in the show

That'd be cool if you could remove their bandans, elbowpads, wristpads(i forgot what its called), knee pads and belt..otherwise, removing everthing you they are just a Turtle...mutant turtle without all the crap,
