View Full Version : This April TV-Tokyo will premiere a new Ninja Turtles series

Yeah... that's a Japanese station. Supposedly it's going to be at least partically CGI and no it's not the current show, the 80s show or something related to the OVA.

This might tie into the new movie or be something completely unrelated. Either way it seems that there's a new TMNT series coming to Japan this Spring. And that's some pretty interesting news.

Are you sure it's a new show? Looks more like they're going to show the 2k3 series. That's partically CGI too.

There's a thread in the new movie section where someone was talking about this. Supposedly they are getting the 2k3 series...Japan has not seen it yet apparently.

Yesterday I read something around here saying that Japan's getting the 2k3 series soon. I'm guessing it's that.

Hmm...I think it would be great if it were a new series, but with so little info on it, it kind of does look like it's just the 2K3 series. Well, at least I got a chance to defend the OVA series on the Toon Zone forums. :)

Anyway, I think this is worth keeping an eye on just in case!

It's fine if it's the 2003 series. If Japan didn't have it yet then they should definently get it. But TV Tokyo doesn't usually air American cartoons. So I'd sooner expect it on Cartoon Network Japan (which mostly airs American cartoons infact).

But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's not an anime, just the 2k3 series. If there truly was a completely new TMNT anime, don't you people think we would have heard about it earlier than one month before release? :roll: Besides the Official site already confirmed that it's the 2k3 series.
