Marvel announces: Thor will launch in July

Great news for fans of weird talking, christian Gods of Asgard. Thor will be back. Not much is known about the whole thing only that he'll be back in July. This was announced at NYCC 07 (http://www.newsarama.com/NYCC/2007/Marvel/TheInitiative.html). And there's two pictures already, as well as the following statement.

Thor was announced as launching in July of 2007 - "this is the real Thor," McCann said. "Are you sure? They could rebuild him..."

Not really liking the chainmail he's got on in that first picture, the second one is great. I assume that's supposed to be Sif he's kissing in the first panel... and Thor is Christian?

As far as I'm aware, I heard he'll speak clearly. You know, no longer in a style akin to ancient English, yes? Plus he'll be back to sharing a body with Donald Blake, and thusly Asgard is now back on Earth. Kind of tarnishes everything else previously established, huh? I can't judge now, but the concept doesn't really strike me.

Sounds more like they are returning him as the 60's era Thor.
