This blows! I mean, I know I'm missing a bit of in-between stuff and I am a few issues behind on Tales... but that's it?!

Michelangelo and that cocky Triceradon knucklehead have been stnading there waiting for their sparring match to start for over 6 months now! This is a bunch of crap!

I know Peter Laird went on hiatus so he could keep a close eye on the new TMNT movie but I haven't gotten the chance to whine and moan about it yet.

When's Vol. 4 going to kick it back into gear again?

Haha, I got all caught up with vol 4 like a year and a half ago and it was great. The series definitely lends itself to being read in one big binge over a couple weekends (what I did) but then it really sucks getting to the end of what's been released.

I agree as interesting as it is for a change I'd like to see things get back to normal and I'd really be ticked also if don stayed the size of a finger forever lol

I don't think he'll just up and quit it before getting them back to normal. That would mean it would just end up like the Image volume with less realistic permenant injuries and more sci-fi permenant changes.

Ya I am really anxious to see whats in store for the turtles in the comic world. I am a little surprised by the direction they are headed in and to be honest, its a little more sci-fi then I'd like right now, but every issue is still a good read to me.

I reckon Pete should continue vol. 4 in Tales, at least then there wouldn't be any pressure to churn something out every two months. Even if it meant only one Vol. 4 issue per year, I'd still be happy with that. Still, Tales, and a bi-monthly or quarterly or tpb or whatever would be awesome too!

yeah allot of things in vol. 4 oddly enough remind me of the image series which almost everyone seems to hate. But they like vol. 4 I'm betting more than not because it's 1. a mirage comic, 2. peter writes it, & 3. lawson draws it him being a mirage artist. But thats just my guess on that situation.

yeah the thing thats got me worried though is he also said "I'll stop the book whenever I please as well" *gulp* But I also remember him saying he wouldn't leave the guys hanging in some odd spot but more than likely would never end the comic either. So basicly we have no real answeres just beet around the bush kind of stuff lol. He should work for the government ba dum dum ching!:lol:

I really hope he comes back to this, I absolutely love it. Its quite a hard comic to get into (and to get!!) if you pick it up, like halfway or so. Just cos there's so much going on, and its quite dragged out. I think he should release trades up to the issue he stopped on, especially just after the movie is out, where interest in the TMNT is high. I got into the comics around the time the 2K3 series came out, and it was great, and I can see them gaining a few new fans with the hype around the new movie (or old fans, as I was!) wanting to pick up the comics, and what better way than to pick up the trades to ease you into a storyline? I also got into Invincible, the Walking Dead, Jack Staff and a few others by picking up the trades up to a certain issue then collecting the comics after that...

Plus, they really do read alot better a few issues at a time, due to its pacing and would benefit in being a tpb form (I feel)

Personally, if he does reunite the TMNT and turn whoever is messed up at the time back to normal and then cancels the main TMNT line I hope that at least Tales keeps being published. Except for a few main TMNT arcs over the years, I've always preferred the nearly-stand alone Tales comics.

If PL does step donw. I doubt Tales will be effected. Seeing as how he only writes the occasional issue.
