I've played Region 2 DVDs fine with my player, but I don't know if it's an region free player or not, as I've only tried one disc. Guess I'll find out in a week or two, as this DVD will take at least 5-9 days to get here..

Mine shipped as well!
I'm up to The Ultimate Ninja in my attempt to watch the entire series all the way through, so it may be a while before I get to TLS episodes but I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Is region 2 Australia/New Zealand? Is region 2 the same region the UK and India has? If so, I know a way I can easily convert the Lost season so I could watch it. What's the link to order it again?

Actually the site says Region 4, I beleive. I thought Austalia was region 2 as well, and region 4 was anything in the Japan/China area.

Australia is Region 4. It is PAL format which is the same as the UK uses.
Japan is actually Region 2, though it is NTSC format (same as US).
I am still waiting for my shipping notice.

I still have yet to find out if my DVD+VCR player is regionless. It doesn't say on it so I'm going to have to look up the product or it's patent number on line.
