Was the purple dragon gang member figure ever released? It appears on the box back but I have yet to see one.

I've heard he was un-released as well, however I've see 2 at a KB Toys around July of 2006. I could kick myself for not buying them. At the time I had no idea they were supposedly never released. I wonder if they may have slipped out by mistake.

yes some people on the drome here say they have seen them but nothing has ever been seen on ebay or the official tmnt site.
I did ask playmates if the toy was released they say yes it was along side rat king and bishop..but I really am doubtfull untill it either pops up on ebay or some one gets some photos of him mint in the box.

I'd love to see him, along with a number of other characters....it seems doubtful we'll see him now though...

don't dount it man ave faith we may because playmates and the turtles show seems to be in some sort of odd limbo right now they may return home sooner than we think and we may be getting new figures based on 2k3 as much as I'd like to get those last fast forward figures I'd like a normal baxter figure more which we never got.

they exist, i work at KB toys and set that figure back for myself, i am paying for it friday, i set back one of each figure in the back room, blame me if you cant find them at KB toys in Fort Worth :D

alright can do that when i pay for it friday, i kinda get lucky working in a toystore, i get to pick the best of the lot for myself before putting it on the floor


oh and if your wondering, playmates shipped us just one of those and we had something like 50 single packs arrive, so 1 out of 50 of the figures was that purple dragon aka Jersy Devil if your saying the one i think your saying. Most of our boxes where the turtles, casey, and april, we only got 3 foot soilders in, that might give you an idea about avialbilty of these

The figure in question is a human looking guy with a funky haircut and a dragon tattoo released under the TMNT2k3 pacakging.

Yea, Purple Dragon is not Jersey Devil from the movie. We are talking about a completely different character from the cartoon thats been due to come out for a long while now...

the official website ( ninjaturtles.com ) was updated today ( 3-19 ) and it gives a list of unreleased toys that will be out in the next few months ( we will see about that ) and the list is inuwashi gunjin, purple dragon, paleo patrol sabre cycle w/ raph, paleo helicopter, and movie splinter vs.bigfoot

Was the figure advertised on the back of the boxes? I thought I had this figure, and just a few moments ago went through my collection to find it but came up short. I can't imagine why I would think that, though. He's the guy with the trenchcoat and like...aqua colored hair, right?

Man, paleo patrol... The paleo turtles appeared in about 3 minutes of the toon and still get the biggest toy line from the 2k3.

I hope that they continue to release 2K3 figures. I hope they also make new ones.
