I was recently watching STREET FIGHTER, based on the game, and ner the end, while ryu and Ken are fighting, Ken rips off his Biso sticker, whilst Rye has to take his whole shirt off. And, nearer the end, Dalsom (I don't know how to spell that) had hair before, and then at the end, he had no hair and those marks on his face which he had in the game.

to some, it sucked. it was not supposed to be based totally on the game, but create its own version near the own plot. Heck, I loved it, it is right up there with the super mario Bros movie, which I give a five out of five .

Ah, videogame movie adaptations. Some were good, some were too cheesy. Like the Double Dragon movie... Didn't like that one bit. However, I really enjoyed Tomb Raider and the original Mortal Kombat. Can't think of others that I'm fond of...

It wasn't THAT bad, of course probably 60% of it sucked. I guess I only liked it because of Raul Julia, as he is one of my favorite actors. Too bad Street Fighter was his last movie.

Woah, it's obvious you haven't dabbled in bad movies very much. Films like Cool As Ice and The Final Sacrifice make Street Fighter look like Citizen Kane! :D

Here's the whole shabang...because of not wanting to get sued by Mike Tyson(tho Simpsons havent been sued for 'Roderick Tatum'), and just other property changes when SF2 came to the US.

The fascist looking dictator bad guy known as M. Bison is actually Vega. Vega just sounds cooler...but why Mike Bison?

Well, because in Street Fighter One(1987) one of the characters was named Mike, a boxer who would later become Mike Bison(or M Bison) in Japan. But when SF2 came to the states he became Balrog. Balrog was originally the name of the masked Spanish fighter, who then became Vega. Vega became M. Bison, even though that makes no sesne as hes nothing like Mike tyson. So yeah, for over a decade a whole country oif players have been puzzled by this.

As for the movie...anyone notice EVERY character from the SF2 games was either a millitary soldier or a reporter? Yikes!

Actually, the reason why Vega became M.Bison in the American/Worldwide except Japan version, was because Capcom of America feared a lawsuit if they named the boxer character M.Bison (because it closely resembles Mike Tyson, which the name was probably created for in the first place).

In my opinion, Balrog suits the Boxer better, as Balrog is too brutish a name for a graceful masked fighter from Spain. Then "Vega" became M.Bison, which is sorta weird, but it just grows on you after while, if ya catch my drift.

It is no Joke, Those are realy bad movies. Well Strett fighter falls in the same categoty with Stallone movies. Switch you brain off, and enjoy the ride. IF you try to find a plot to follow, or want to see how good the actors are, you will notice that the movie sucks.

That's what i like about the movie, it's soooooo cheesy...try watching the part where bison/vega/gomez/julia/badguywithredhat/whateveryouwanttocallit is fighting guile, then he starts flying :lol: it's one of the cheapeast fx things i've ever seen.

To the Date, only Video Game movie I have seen that was watchable was Mortal Kombat.(Yes, I have seen Final Fantasy and Resident evil) I think it is a genre that can't really be done well.

Residen't evil had the Potential, But I think it is the PG-13 rating that ruined it. If you want good Zombie movies, check The living dead trilogy.

Well it is R rated... PG-13 destroyed Residen't evil. Well the cast is mostly B-movie one, But that's how all Zombie movies are. If they are going to do a Zombie movie instead of a videogame movie, it might work, Or it could really suck.

But there are rumors That George A. Romero is doing another Zombie movie! It is supposedly called 'Dead Reckoning' and Produced by 20th century fox, with a budget of 10 million!(For ignorant people, it much more than any of his classic Zombie flicks)

well, If you watched the anime, then you would see that Cammy was under control of Bison. Heck, guys, I'm a ten year old and even I know that. I wish people here would pay attention... :cry: But it wasn't that bad, did you rea;;y want it based on the game, pic this: Ken Ryu go on adventures, to stop Bison. And Zangrief was originally a bad guy. They based it on the game enough to me to please me, but obviously not enough for you guys.

I think not...Im a HUGE TMNT fan and was darn unimpressed with TMNT 2 and even more so with TMNT 3. As far as video game films, to date there has not been a decent one made.

So yeah, Japan got the cool Street Fighter cartoon, and the US got the crappy one as usual(just with Sonic as well)
