Loose ends tied up? Almost!

Here are the untied ones:

1. How has Ch'rell became Shredder, subdued the Mystics and founded the Foot Clan?

2. Which one of the Shredders has won the Battle Nexus Tournament?

3. What has Leatherhead been doing between the end of the third season and "Good Genes" episode? Why wasn't he helping TMNT to counter the attack during the "Scion of the Shredder" and “Enter the Dragons”?

4. What about April's and Renet's meeting in the future?

5. What is April’s origin? Is she a drawing by Kirby that came to live (like in the comic)? Then how comes she has a sister and an uncle Augie?

6. Where is the promised "Worms of Madness" incorporation?
Plot: a Foot Mystic resurrects the colony worms that were used to clone Shredder and manifests them into a huge amphibious creature thing that kidnaps Splinter and puts a reversing spell on the Turtles causing them to become the opposites of themselves. In other words, Leo is a goof, Mikey is all serious, Raph is a wimp, and Don is a dumbass.

7. Will the alien creature from "The Darkness Within" be found and destroyed by Bishop at any time?

8. Will we ever know the full story behind “Nightmares Recycled", Garbageman and Hun?

9. Now that TMNT were Dragons it would be cool for Dragonlord from Next Mutation to appear…

This will be my only serious answer: In the comics, we learn she was born after Robyn, when their parents couldn't have kids. So she's kinda adopted.

It's amazing the amount of loose ends the series has. That's why they at least should of done a complete ending to all of that before jumping into Fast Forward. I mean Enter the Dragons Part II is a great finale to 2k3 but all those loose ends untied makes me cringe. Maybe we should campaign for some direct to DVD TMNT 2k3 movies.

I've not seen the TLS episodes that didn't air On Demand yet (still working my way through the DVDs rest of the series in order before I watch all of TLS) but I'll answer as best I can. These answers will contain SPOILERS.

1. This could be a great multipart episode like Secret Origins, though I suppose it works just as well as an unanswered mystery. He probably heard the story and took the name and armor to inspire fear and either made or obtained the Heart of Tengu (was this actually a remaining part of the original demon Shredder before he merged with Oroku Saki?) and used that to subdue the mystics.

2. I'm guessing the original/real Saki before he became evil and joined with the demon Tengu Shredder.

3. No idea, maybe he was away research Utrom tech and trying to rebuild a transmat to get home to the Utroms? Or maybe he has built a transmat (or been given one by the Utroms) and was off world visiting them?

4. I'm guessing that was hinting at April's origin and it would have been a future story that will now probably never get made.

5. I think it was intended to be the same as in the comics, she was drawn by her father using Kirby's crystal and a lot of will power. Though I don't think they would have gone into detials like unable to have children (too much info for a kids show and it contradicts Fast Forward)

6. In all honesty I think the promised "Worms of Madness" adaptation for Season 4 was what eventually became the Season 5 real Shredder storyline.

7. Probably already done off camera.

8. Nope, best we can hope for is script and/or storyboards to be included on the DVD set or on the official site after the US release of TLS.

9. Not if Peter Laird has his way. Done right I think Dragon Lord could be ok, but I just can't see it happening (just as I doubt the TMNT will become dragons again after TLS)

10. Zog's dead, Clunk is probably in the lair somewhere (he can't be dead in TMNT time it's been less than a year since Mikey found him), Rat King is still lurking in the shadows somewhere, I think Touch and Go probably left town after they got beat by Mikey and Splinter, Usagi and his friends are still around in their own world, Karai is probably running the Foot justly now (with Chaplin helping her), Bishop is being Bishop and with any luck Baxter will soon die, Hun and the Dragons are probably a petty street gang being hunted by Karai's good Foot, the Human Acolytes return to their normal lives like the TMNT did, the Tribunal return to Japan and rebuild their temple, April and Casey will hopefully get married (I really wanted TLS to end with a proposal) and eventually have a daughter called Shadow.

That's my guesses anyway!

It is a shame that the loose ends is questioned in many shows.. sometimes we never get to see it happen.

I hope the writers contuine the show in the 6th season and make some of the loose ends tied.

A: Um..He was resting and recuperating from falling down a chasm with Hun?

A: No clue about her origin but Robyn is the biological child of the O'Neil's in the comics and she has a son. Uncle Auggie is obviously the brother of her father...duh. In the original series she had an Aunt Agatha/Aggie. That's who Uncle Auggie is an homage to.

6. Where is the promised "Worms of Madness" incorporation?

A: Um... when the Utrom's building blew up Churel was healed by worms.

A: I too wanna see a return of the nightmare monster!

- Usagi, Gen, Lord Hebi, Kojima?: Usagi's descendent, Space Usagi (who had his own movie and an action figure in the TMNT action figure line some 12-14 years ago) will be appearing in an upcoming ep of Fast Forward.

The last time we saw Touch and Go was when they were kicked into a river by Leo and Mikey. I am not shure if they resurfaced but for all we know they could have drowned. I highly doubt this though.

Thanks for the update! There are still some episodes in the later part of Season 3 that I haven't seen (plus 1 or 2 episodes of Season 4).
