It's in the upper right corner. I found it interesting.

Awesome, the parts of the fight sequence they showed looked intense. I was glad to see splinter fighting with the boys.

On the timeline they have there, they missed out Next Mutation and said "After a seven-year gap without a "Turtles" television show..."

Either it's been forgotten, or it's trying to be forgotten :)

Finally! I was starting to think the celeb voice cast couldn't care less about the movieOn the timeline they have there, they missed out Next Mutation and said "After a seven-year gap without a "Turtles" television show..."

What are you talking about? There was never any Mighty Morphin' Ninja Turtles. That was a mass halucination installed as an attemt to program mankind's worst fear into the Matrix. There is no spoon, dangit! :x

Next Mutation isn't the worst by virtue of it being at least live action. Fast Forward, man it's junk

Agreed. Being live-action earns it some points. Watching it on mute is fun too

So it's probably a bad time to mention that I got Next Mutation flashbacks during the scene where Raphael gets on his bike huh?

Gotta agree with you there.

I'll look at that article when I'm not at school, heh. I want to check it out.

I'm with you on that one, Fast Foward its just a bit to corny compared to NM but thats just my view on things.

Also its really good to hear that big guys are finally getting the word out, about time if you ask me.

It didn't seem like either Fishburne or Gellar had much to say about it, though. Ah well.

Um ... I had something useful to say, but I forget. :(

Ew... Ninja Turtles fighting puppets and obviously pretending to fight people in terribly lame costumes is far from better than >> in my opinion. I could have made TNM with my allowance, though I'd never be able to live with myself. It would have been funnier, but it's inherantly an abomination of a series.

OH man, just look how awful this show was. Look at Raph.... he's got herpes or something. Why the hell do they have those helmet bandanas? They couldn't safety-pin the cool lookin ones to their retarded looking costume heads? Donnie looks like a freakin old lady!!! Why are they wearing boots? And why do their stomach portions look like breast-plates? They look like f*cking shi*t! Please, let it be forgotten.

Thanks Youal, great find. Great interview and that concept art is great. Really hope we get to see that on the DVD or something.

Yeah, the "Next Mutation" stuff was atrocious, and the teamup with "Power Rangers In Space" managed to embarrass both sides simultaneously.

Still, I can't help but think the Turtles' costumes, while incredibly gaudy, might not have been that bad if they'd stuck with the clothing elements from the movies -- the brown leather pads, wristbands, and belts, and the normal-shaped bandannas -- and given them the simple flat plastrons instead of the washboard stomachs (and breast contours, in Venus' case). If they'd just kept it old-school, the costumes might have looked much better.

Still doesn't come close to fixing the many problems with TNM, but it's a start.

Anyway, the youtube video was great. I didn't know Lawrence Fishburne was narrating the movie; now I'm even more excited. And I was really interested in what Patrick Stewart had to say about the franchise. He really got that the strength of the Turtles franchise lies in the strengths of the characters' personalities.

Can't wait to see the movie tomorrow.

Another interview
http://www.scifi.com/sfw/interviews/sfw15358.html

Couple bits:

Patrick Stewart, you've been Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men and captain of the Starship Enterprise. What made you want to do a voice in the Turtles movie?

Stewart: I was familiar with the Turtles franchise 20 years ago. My son was a fan. Now it will be introduced to my grandchildrenThomas K. Gray, as the producer who was there from the beginning, doing all the three previous live-action films, why do a new film?

Gray: We wanted to take the Turtles to another level in film and do something we hadn't done before. For more than 20 years, they have been one of the most popular toys sold in several parts of the U.S., as well as Europe, Australia and in some Asian-Pacific countries. With the syndicated cartoon series doing great and the comic book enjoying cult status, we wanted to give the fans something new. We wanted to stay true to the concept while taking the Turtles in a new direction. We went back to the original comic book, which is actually grittier than the previous films. We think this will be a fun experience for core fans and new fans alike.

We heard that you had a difficult time keeping this to a PG rating?

Gray: We feel like we have a different standard than other movies. We will have far less violence than [The Chronicles of] Narnia. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe showed far more violence than we will have, but because our setting is more reality-based there is more of a higher standard put on us. The next one we will make PG-13, but we would prefer to make it R.

Interesting end here eh?

Nice!! Glad to see the "names" doing something to help promote the film.

Dont forget we had corey feldman in the first movie doing donny's voice, that always made it cool.

Now with sara, patrick stewart, laurence fishborne, thats amazing. IT would sell the movie more if more people on the streets knew who was doing the voices.
