okay...i noticed soemthing that really threw me off...
in the big climactic fight scene between the stone soldiers and the turtles inside winters mansion... i noticed something
during Leo's spotlight in the fight [fighting the leader of the stone guys] the camera goes back after an attack on leo, showing a full body picture of leo...and i coudl have sworn i saw something odd:
he seemed to have ancient weapons on him.
i noticed he was holding his 2 normal swords, had a stone-ish BIG sword placed on his back, and a stone-ish Dagger placed in the front of him on his sash...this confused me cause i didnt see them appear anywhere else.
at first i thought that the flying things that came out of hte portal were somehow transforming into weapons to help the turtles, and after i saw leo get his new weapons [which i dont think he ever used, and dissapeared the next time they showed him] it moved to raphs time in the spotlight, i figured id see him [and each other person, respecivly] get new ancient weapons that could defeat the rock monsters...but to my surprise NOTHING like that happend
what was it i saw? was this a deleted scene they accidnetly left in the movie? or what?

Actually there was something of Max Winters that had these swords and Leo just borrowed them.
I guess you must of missed that part or something.
and from what I remember, Leo did use them, but it wasn't all that clear, it was for a short time before he switched back to his regular weapons.

Leo crashed into a display glass when one of the generals threw him. He saw the ancient weapons, and looked rather pleased. The next shot has him standing there with all those weapons on him, and that's where he says the line "Come to daddy".

Leo was thrown into a display case with ancient swords in it. The scene was brief, but at the end he looked up and saw the swords and you could practically hear him go "heh..."
During the fight, yeah... that was kinda rushed. It looked like he was going through swords, as the General he was fighting kept breaking them (maybe they were stone?).
EDIT: ninja'd by LM :P

This was one of my favorite parts. If this film hadn't been plagued by a PG rating, but a PG-13 instead, I could imagine that scene could have erupted into some killer eye candy.
But bummer, until studios stop treating the turtles like Toy Story, and more like Batman, we'll never really get a chance to see some heavy duty fighting, minus the Leo vs Raph scene. But still, that was too short and cut.

I got the distinct vibe that several characters died during this film but it was just never shown on camera. During Leo's training when he completely dominates the fat guy in the jungle, the camera jumps to a canopy view of the jungle just before leo strikes. Did anyone else think Leo killed him. Also, during the final battle when the 3 turtles, splinter, april, and casey are fighting the foot, the camera was moving over the battle very fast. I again got the feeling the boys were killing. This could all be part of my want for more tmnt violence but I thought it may be worth a discussion. Am I completely off base here?
