There Will Be Lots Of Action On The Show!!!

i was watching alot of the commercials on the foxbox and leo uses his swords against the foot, lots of martial arts, the mousers get a katana through them, and raph shows us how much of a hot head he is by getting into a scrum with mike (i think it was mike).

and by the way they said it was on at 10:30 not 10am. that is awesome 'cause it doesn't conflict with He-Man on YTV :P now i can tape he-man and then scramble and flip the tapes and tape TMNT :D

Yeah, he cut it in 3. There were a lot more tmnt commercials on today, 1-3 every break.

Well they did break robots in the old cartoon too, But Id like to see them use theyr weapons in combat against foot.

I sat around through all four hours of the Fox Box taping TMNT comercials!

I thinks they've come up with a realy good idea about weapon usage: The have given Foot soldiers swords and stuff so Leo and Raph can use their weapons to swordfight without cutting antbody! Pretty smart.

We see our first glimps of the mousers, and Leo slicing them in two.

Theres also a scene of Raphael tackling Mikey and figting him with Leo in the backgroung saying "What a hot head"

To sum it all up it looks like the new show will be action packed.

yeah, i saw a lot of those commercials today.

that whole 'name that turtle!' contest just seems like a really elaborate way of advertizing the show and getting to know the characters for the 'uninitiated'.

the show looks to be really kick-ass, with lotsa action and fluid, anime-inspired animation sequences.....

My prediction: They will have fighting in the beginning, then some stupid parent complains and gets more people to complain, soon it is on the news as violent tv show. Then it is either A-They take some weapons out like they did with the nunchucks, and make the show with barely anything we could consider fighting, or B-They stop the show altogether.

Note: This will only happen if the show gets popular enough while they have fighting like last time...

Well they don't even need to go that far. They simply should show the TMNT using their weapons to strike the Foot (or other enemy) then the enemy falls down. It's that simple, they don't have to show swords going through people or entrails slipping out to have weapons use. Every now and again there should be a little blood/bruises after a tough fight. Just like in the Batman shows (especially Beyond).

This show looks completely kick ass. From everything I've seen it appears that they have captured a lot of the feel of the original comics. It reminds me how Batman: The Animated Series captured the feel of the Batman comics. Although unlike Batman, TMNT will have a continuing story!

Well Batman had some continyity, But it seems this new show will be much more connected. But wasn't Batman TAS and Beyond aired at later time?

Heck yeah it will have lots of action...the new full intro alone blows away all ten seasons of that old cartoon IMHO! Anything thats influenced from great anime films has gotta be pretty action filled.
