It's not bad, and it blows FF out of the water, but I just wasnt that into it. Some stuff was cool, like dragon TMNT, demon shredder and all that jazz, but it just didn't feel like Ninja Turltes. It actually felt like DBZ, with all the energy aura thingys...

Dragon Ball Z-ish? Eh, I don't think so. I for one despise that **** that call a Tv series and while I guess glowing could be associated with DBZ you'd be grouping a million other shows with it then.
TMNT out it's own twist on it. It's very anime-ish at parts but they did enough to make it different.
Either way you didn't like the powers they lost them at the end anyways so problem solved.

I just dont care for the turtles having super powers be it dragons, flames coming from their hands, or being able to fly. They are great the way they are and dont need that stuff.

I'm so seeing flames in the distance we better run now lol. Anyone got a fire truck?
I know I just didnt care for the powers and I'm happy they're gone.

The turtles never fly, they never shoot fire out of their hands, and they turn into dragons only twice.
Their weapons do a spacial attack*Kinda like in a video game to be honest* but they don't just shoot energy beams out so it's not to bad.
Leo never gets a weapon of his own like the other TMNT so he just has his own stuff most of the time.

Well like I said they lose their powers at the end so they won't with any luck haha
FF takes place directly after TLS so we know it's back to semi-normal.
Funny thing though 4Kids shows anime all the time over TMNT, TLS is closer to anime then anything else TMNT has done I don't see why they wouldn't air it.

hmm you do have a point. I dont hate the lost season one bit I just dont see the need for super powers is all not because everyone else likes it, not to be difficult, I just dont plain and simple.

I just finished the lost season and I feel it is the best season yet. I absolutely loved the final episode team up with all the turtles allies and "Allies."
I thought TLS was the best of the series.

Yeah it was an idea. It had not been done yet in the series. My opinion, it rocked! But I can understand fans not digging it. How else would they have defeated the shredder without their Chi?
If it would have been up to you, would you have even went in the direction of an "original shredder" and the ninja tribunal. What would you have done for season 5?

[QUOTE]
They do need that stuff if they are fighting a demon lord. Only magic can defeat magic and bo staff is going to do jack to a powerful demon lord. To use an example from Marvel comics: Daredevil, a hero who the TMNT are semi based on, is a skilled ninja and great fighter, but put him against a powerful demon like Dormammu and he is out of his league, being the best human fighter in the world doesn't mean jack when fighting a demon lord.

Yeah super powers just aren't my bag baby lol thats why I like the turtles and batman.
hmmm thats a good question well I wouldnt have gone in the direction of fast forward even though I dont mind it.
And like I said I dont mind the lost season one bit just never cared for super powers I'm also some one who doesnt like superman at all. *shruggs*
I like the ninja tribunal and all but I don't know if I'd have brought the shredder back that way even though it's nice that they cleared up the utrom story with this.
I'd have liked if they would have also explained how he became the shredder as well.
I'm also really just tired of Shredder in General and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I don't mind Mystic powers btw it just really seemed to me like they needed them to fight the real shredder like it was this made up excuse like ummm oh I've got it guys we can give them these powers so they can battle him.
Just sort of seems like an easy out to me is all.
Damn now you've really got me thinking how I'd have done this season lol.
I can tell you I'd have kept allot but done more than just storys revolving around the foot.
For instance I'd have brought leatherhead back who was missing from all of this as well as fugitoid.
And would have played on the rat kind storyline from city at war would have been great to have that happen during all of this with splinter.

You really just don't get what I'm saying do you? You seem to have forgotten episodes "All Hallows Thieves", & "The Darkness Within" and they didnt need special powers to do anything of the sort nore have they any other time in the existance of the tmnt.
My point is it just seemed like they sat around a room trying to come up with ideas and this was it.
It's ok for them to fight over ultra megazord shredder with these wicked new powers I just dont care for them is all end of story.
I mean it's fine to do that It's better then out of know where the being all lets build giant robots and fight in them to destroy him lol.

Yeah what in Sam Hell was that about. Where was leatherhead? That is so weird.
Does anyone know where I can find some pics of the lost season. Either the boys glowing in their mystic chi or them using their awesome weapons. Perhaps a pic of the boys as dragons.
P.S. The shredder is old to me as well. He is/was by far the best villian but he time is up. (just my two cents)

about the dragon ball thing, the problem with dragon ball is that it takes many episodes to actually get through aw hole fight.. a couple episode they would spend talking and power up.. this they charge up and fight in the same episode.
quick and clean or dirty whatever you say.

It's not that I didn't like it, I just thought it was lacking something... elusive. Most likely associated with characterisation, or lack thereof.
Super powers aren't really my thing either. I'm just glad they lost them again at the end. Also, (and I'm probably alone in this) I didn't hugely appreciate the "teaming up" thing that everyone else seemed to like. I guess at heart I really like the more usual "Turtles against the world" sort of format. That's also probably why I couldn't bring myself to like/care about the other acolytes. :ohwell:
All in all, I appreciated seeing some new TMNT eps, but I could not for the life of me see why everyone was raving about it, or why people were so desperate to see it. I think that it's actually probably the weakest season of the show. Although I'm still glad I bought and watched it.
Meh. To each their own.

They did explain how he became Shredder. Him and the rest of the tribunal were formed*In the Shredder armor* to battle a powerful Tengu demon destroying Japan. They all fought it and got their asses handed to them. Saki got the upper hand and killed it. Before he did the demon asked him if he wanted to have his power. So Saki staged killing the demon and then later began kicking Japan's ass.
I could explain the rest but I'm to lazy to type it all out. Watch "Legend Of The 5 Dragons" again.

eh... sounds bad-ass to me. Besides, you can't really have the TMNT with so many Japanese elements (Splinter, Shredder, the Foot, ninjas, talking about Bushido, etc etc etc) without it being at least a lil anime-ish. At least the TMNT didn't have those giant sweatdrops or turned chibi when they got scared or anything like that.

Aside from the lack of LH, I had no problem with the lost season.

Ditto. Leatherhead should have been at the final battle. No doubt.

I liked the LS myself, but I can totally see where people can get a bad taste in their mouths conserning it being a DBZ clone or TMNT: Unlimited (super powers...couldn't think of anything that had more super powers than JLU...except that one episode, "Partiot Act" whitch is easily one of my favorite JLU episodes).

Nope, I liked Lost Season. Except for the part where they turned into dragons.

While I don't by any means dislike it, I find the Lost Season to be a definite step down from the previous two seasons.
Pros:
A decent group of interesting new characters.
Some excellent--and surprisingly violent--action sequences.
Zombies!
A decent sense of closure to the series.
The return of some M.I.A. characters.
Cons:
Too great an emphasis on the turtles as "heroes of destiny", even over the four other Acolytes. One of the things I liked about the series is how it didn't bend over backwards to have the turtles come up on top of every situation, and just left them develop naturaly. Not here. How come only the turtles (and Faragi, who loses his weapon to Leo) get weapons with names?
How come only they get to turn into dragons? It bothers me.
Most of the new character's potential is left untapped.
No definite closure for Karai's storyline, just the illusion of it.
Lots of moments where the writers simply pull crap out of their ass.
Past Present is pure filler, while Enter the Dragons could have used another part.
The Shredder's Heralds get relegated to cannon fodder.
Hun gets a horrible new voice.
The fact that the Turtles and Bishop were indirectly responsible for the Shredder's resurrection goes mostly unremarked.

Well, I actually liked the whole "heroes of destiny" routine. I do find it somewhat cliche, cause I think I've seen it many places before on TV, but cliche doesn't bother me. It shows how spiritual they truly are; and besides, it's their show, so a lot of emphasis should be placed on them.

the heros of destiny is something so used alot in tv shows can be a good thing, the characters who are these, are great becuase you can love em or hate em.
You know. This is somehting I enjoyed the lost season. not only did the turtles get alot of screen time but we got to see the other characters help them out so they didn't just get all the credit.
teamwork always work.
It is a shame the human avatars didn't get enough screen time even though they used it in the first part of the final episode.
at least the 4 humans still have their medallions.

I thought bringing the acolytes back to life was really stupid, the tribunal coming back to life was just fine, but this is a lost season, theres nothing wrong with killing someone off.
