Just got back from the UK Toyfair. Bit disappointed that only wave 1 was on display, along with the new lair playset, and no photographs were allowed to be taken (but they are sending me some product information and photos which I'll share as soon as I get them).

The big news is that they had a sign saying the new show will start in SEPTEMBER this year with the new figures being released around the same time. The rep I spoke to didn't know which channel the show would be on but did say they are anticipating that the line will be big and backed up with a large advertising campaign. Looks like the TMNT will be taking over the UK again this year.

Another piece of good news is that all the packaging and adverts that they were showing (including the short version of the intro posted on the official site) all still contained the word Ninja, looks like the TMHT are going to remain in the 80s where they belong.

You are really going to wait untill september? Well I have no idea when they are coming to Finland if they ever will. So dowloading is the only choice.

Be sure that it STAYS TMNT rather than TMHT...if it changes back to TMHT, I will personally fly over to England and give those censors a piece of my mind!

Well I will try downloading but when I'm not at Uni (almost all of April and from June until September) I only have a 56kb modem so downloading at home isn't really an option.

As for the figures, which I want even more after seeing them for myself, I'll have to wait as I can't find any UK sites that have them imported or any US sites willing to import them.

Yeah downloading with 56 is pain...

The Vivid's press release at action-figure.com says that the new show will be on terrestrial TV. This means it's likely to be on either BBC or CITV, out of the two I hope BBC will get it as CITV edited almost all of the remotely violent action scenes out of Batman Beyond, plus with BBC we're guarenteed no advert breaks.

Really? Batman Beyond was done in 1997-2000 and they still edited it there? I feel sorry for you if that channel airs it...

Yeah CITV edited Batman Beyond, luckly Cartoon Network picked it up and aired unedited versions but for some reason they haven't shown series 3 yet despite the fact it finished in the US about 2 years ago!
