I have to ask - does everybody really hate the recent origin-revelation that April discovered in TMNT Vol 4?
I got some back issues, and got to read enough issues that I got the jist of April's Origin.
I know it does make her a little less "normal" than she previously was - but I actually sort of liked it. It fit in along with the that classic Kirby issue, and showed some more mystery concerning that crystal.
Well, either way, I guess in general it doesn't matter. If so many people really didn't like it, then, I suppose, it can just not be mentioned anymore in the comics.
It's like that Cerbus retcon-debate (in another thread) That story was more kooky and off-the-wall than other issues, but there doesn't seem to be pressing need to physically erase it from history (or in that case, draw over it) Just let the story be, and just don't bring it up.
