oh no! :( ok guys it's time to start writting letters of incuragement to Peter Laird.
The Vol. 4 is on an indefinite hiatus! Because Peter has writters block! I've been there myself for a long time it sucks.
And they aren't sure about tales continuing without it.
I'm really looking forward to the Raphael mini series.:evilgrin:
Poor Mike & Don always getting left out...I hope they get a mini series made as well.

I wonder how far ahead he got with the story? I know there were about 3 issues solicited in previews before it hit the stall point. It could just be that Pete's had his mind on the film for so long that going back to the comics fresh would be kinda hard. Still I want to know what's going on with Oroku Yoshi dammit!

Thats what I'm thinking also he's got his mind so in movie mode it's hard to come back to mirage mode.
Also I think he's got allot on his mind besides just the comics.
Take how 4kids have taken his cartoon and changed it completely allthough I enjoy fast forward I can see why many don't and especailly Peter so I'm sure thats on his mind allot.
I sort of also have this feeling he's got the toy line on his mind as well Playmates have really been lacking off as of late with the lines not in sculpting or anything don't get me wrong the fast forward and new movie toys are great but shipping and the time it takes for them to get out is really odd. The Splinter vs. bigfoot is a long way off as well with the next set of fast forward toys that is if they don't fall into the same cruel fate that allot of older turtles figures did and never got produced.
He's Also been re-working all of the old mirage comics re-inking and changing words and such allthough I don't like it I'm sure thats keeping him busy as well.

Mirage is a funny little company. TMNT owns the world, but they're still running out of a small warehouse in central Massachusetts. I actually think Pete puts too much on his own plate and thus everything ends up getting bogged down. Mirage really should have been taking advantage of this month with the movie coming out, but even the prequel comics ended up late. :ohwell:

Yeah, "If its not late, its not Mirage" has gone from being an in-joke at the company to a rule, it seems.

It was a pretty neat interview. I dug Lawson speaking about the past with Kevin, Pete and Steve Lavigne... I really hope that Peter Laird can get the ball rolling again with vol 4. Also, a bit crappy about the solo issues maybe getting scrapped. The Raph one sounds like its still going ahead, and if Lawson's Michelangelo one gets the green light too, how could they not do a Donnie one? :P
