DO I OPEN?

Hey,
I have all four Turtles opened...then I have a foot soldier, shredder, and splinter MOC. I don't plan to buy any more 5" figures...should I open the other ones...or leave them MOC?????

I can only give you my personal opinion. I did not buy my toys for them to just sit on a shelf waiting for the day when I can sell them at $50 a pop. But I did save the packaging (in decent condition, I opened them carefully) and am keeping track of the accessories. I keep them in good condition because they are my possessions, not because they'll be more a lot of money in twenty years.

A lot of people would go the "better safe than sorry" route and keep them MOC, but that all depends on what your plans are.

but seriously, what's the point of having half open and half moc? if you were a hardcore collector then you should have kept them all moc but since you opened the turtles then you aren't a hardcore collector so you might as well open them all. it's not like they'll be worth all that much anyways.

I opened mine but i also have to have them MOC too so i bought 2 of each.

If you plan on collecting them, you should keep them packaged, but if you have a use for them (if you want to pose them, play with them, etc.) you should open them and have fun. After all, if you are a TMNT fan, having fun with the TMNT toys, is more valuable than the money you'll ever get from selling them.

Well if nobody had bothered to save the old figures MOC, then there wouldn't be any today.

If you're sitting on the fence, I recommend buying 2 of each figure and opeing one of them.

I was going to leave mine MOC, but I found out that they are much more fun to display and look at out of the package.

If I really want them MOC, Ill buy a second set.
