Whose Voice Do You Hear?

I don't know about you guys but when I read a comic I imagine the voice of the speaker in my head.

So for TMNT whose voices do you hear? I personally hear the 2K3 character voices in my head.

Depends. When I do "figure play" it's usually 2k3, but it took a while. I used to do the OT voices as best I could before. Sometimes I try to read in character, and that's also 2k3, now. :P

None. Though Raph's was spookily similar in the new movie to what i imagine when I read the comics.

This kind of topic is always important to me, becuase I too imagine the voices from the TV show when I read the comics.


Whenever I read Wolverine, it's always the voice from the 90s Animated series I hear. When that new voice came on from the Evolution series, it took awhile for the first one to come back. (You always love the first version you hear more, most of the time)


I definately imagine the current cartoon voices. I watched the old episodes on DVD once, and it annoying took awhile to get wise-cracking Raph out of my head, and get back good 'ol angry Raph.

Raph: Varies between 2K3 and my own imagination.

Leo: Old movies/2K3.

I don't hear voices. The ninja turtles visit me every day and tell me about their adventures. Every once in a while they take me to their lair to chat with Splinter. They think I'm the coolest. Yeah, you're all jealous.

As of March 23, I hear the movie Turtles, and April when I read the comics. And the 2K3 voice for Splinter. And Elias Kotes for Casey Jones.

Every time I see a battle scene, I start hearing that fighting tune from the new series.

I get that theme in the background to the Shredder battle in the first movie. Best fight scene music ever.

When I'm not hearing actors from previous incarnations, Rino Romano takes over as Leo and Mike (Batman and Spider-Man. Need I say more?)

North took over as Raph after the first couple of online clips. Don...I'm not sure. Recently I started hearing Quinton Flynn for some reason, possibly because none of his other voice actors (Any of them) really sounded like Don to me. James Arnold Taylor does him as well some times.

Yeah, sometimes. It's not just you. The fighting theme from the new toon is one I hear too, also sometimes the instrumental theme song, and Casey's theme.

For Baxter Stockman in the Mirage comics, I hear the 2k3's version's voice! I was re-reading the first few comics the other day, and I just couldn't shake that voice out of my head!

I hear music too sometimes depending on what I'm reading. Adds alot to the comics to be able to do that I gota say. And it makes you wish it was animated.
