The SuperBowl is on Finnish TV for the first time, atleast on free channel. I must say that Im disapointed in this... It is boring with a capital B. They play for 10 seconds, and then there is a 10 minutes break...

I guess American Foot ball isn't the right sport for me...

Yeah I hate it too. Most people just watch the Superbowl for the commercials.

Sadly, in Finland the picture comes from the field, or some random people walking somewhere, No US commercials...

Yes and we have to learn Swedish too. That's 2 foreign languages... I have the impression that you don't have to study any foreing languages in states? Is that right?

We had our choices of German, French, or Spanish. And at my school Russian was also available. Most people here take Spanish, because you need some Spanish to live in Texas.

Heh, I didnt even know ya were form Finland til I saw udner your tag. Yeah, for anyone who doesnt know...virtually every non US person online pretty much knows English pretty well(perhaps even better than a lot of US folks who post on forums)

Its funny, because I see a lot of "OMG U CANT bEat mY 1ee7 pOwERz cUz U sUCk and yOu doNt nKow wat Ur talking Bout *inster a dozen smiley emoticons*" on forums by idiot kids, when the people outside the US type much better.

Anyways, a true testament to the great global reach of TMNT to see people form all over on here. Imagien if there was the net available to everyone in the late 80's;)

Finally, I just finished watching the Pirate Bowl(My friends and I were perhaps the only preople who realized both teams are pirates...yet they never once mention this or capitalize on it, idiots) aside from the cool new Matrix commercial, it was pretty much tumble weeds for me.

Well I actually like football, its kind of intresting, I don't know why but I do like it, it has a lot of tactics involved, some people do find it slow, I do too sort of but often (mainly in the playoffs) there are very good games. The Super Bowl ussually isn't the best one actually, this year the Bucs massacred Oakland which really sucks because they also beat Philly and I'm from Philly and the Eagles were the favored team!!!!! :(
The commercials this year were alright, the new Matrix movie looks awesome though!!!! :o

So the regular games aren't as bad as Superbowl? I mean they played 10 seconds, and then there was a 10 minute break...

 Yeah I know they do that a lot, but ussually the playoffs are the best games of the year

*laughs* I don't like American Football a whole lot either (except I'm also a woman so I have the excuse there). If I end up gettingsucked into watching SuperBowl, it's usually just to see the new commercials and the half time shows they put on then.

I usually prefer basketball, hockey and soccer.... if I have to watch sports.

In footbal you dont play 10 sec, then a 10min break. It all depends on how the flow of the game goes, it never seems slow. If youwanna talk boring talk about soccer. Soccer is boring and theres hardly any shots on goals. Its not a contact sport. Soccer is for whimps.
