Was wondering if it was a good idea to start getting the dvds that are for the 2k3 TMNT, or would it be best to wait to see if they release full season sets? Would hate to buy all the volumes only to have the sets come out soon after.

Wait, it's cool to have them as a set but the 2K3 DVDs suck ass. They have stupid cross overs where the Ads would be, the intro isn't a chapter and has to be fast fowarded, and their totally out of order halfway through season 2.

*Shrug*

I have the DVDs too, and not really bothered by any of that.

The Commercial bumpers are a fun little thing. The intro pieces are also nice. And, as for the out-of-order episodes, it's not that much of a problem -- since, on the DVDs, can access any episode right away.

Not if the episode that's supposed up next is on another DVD.

Would do that every-so-often anyway (when changing to next DVD for any other shows, etc.). So still not really much of a problem.

Alright thanks, I had already bought Season 4 2 disk DVD from TRU during the buy one get one 50% off deal. Just wanted to ake sure before I made an "investment" into the rest. Any idea as to when the full sets will be coming out?

And kinda of another question. Same question but about the Older Toons. I know Season 4 set is out, so I assume that is alright to get, but the rest I should wait as well?

The 2k3 TMNT's Season 1 Part 1 (having the first 12 episodes) is scheduled for May 22nd.
As for the Classic TMNT, the Volume releases are okay. Volumes 1 and 2 have Seasons 1 and 2 on them (with Vol. 1 also having four Season 10 episodes, to bolster the amount of eps. on the Disc - since Season 1 is only five episodes). Volumes 3-6 have 12-episode increments of Season 3.

I've been waiting forever for the sets I have only bought the old toon dvds , season 4, and FF , I did buy the first 12 eps in the old set which was at that time close to 40 bucks and now instead of four dvds you'll have them in two and way cheaper, thats what they should have done since the beggining

I'd definitely wait for the half-season sets -- the first one, as mentioned above, is coming out May 22nd.

While I'm pissed that they aren't giving us complete season sets, half season sets are better than what they are offering now. Eventually, we'll have all 5 seasons on our shelves in the proper order they were suppose to be in.

Any word on what kind of bonus features are gonna come with the 1/2 season sets?

I dunno but I hope they do have some extra features, I already have all of them so I am not gonna buy any collections unless there is something really good on them.
I LOVE the animatics on the first few, that was a great bonus feature
