90's teenage mutant ninja turtles cartoon movie?

Hi all!
After watching TMNT and the aftermath discussion in regards to the movie, my mind has been stuck in the 90’s. For some funny reason I recall a teenage mutant ninja turtles cartoon movie (or maybe a cartoon special)? Could anyone give me some information regarding this?

Well there was a 2 part episode called PLANET OF THE TURTLEOIDS that played on prime time back in 1991 on cbs.
It was & Stared Chrome Dome, Tatoo, Groundchuck, & Dirtbag.

They also had plans to do a cartoon movie at some point back in the 90's but it never happend I think it was to have a long lost 5th brother turtle the turtles where suposed to mutate again and the working title of the movie was the next mutation or new mutation.
They used a bit of the story in the last season of the turtles cartoon during it's red sky period and then a bit more in the next mutation live action tv show.
But from what I can remember the movie planed for the 90's was a cartoon I'm not exactly what world it was based on but it seems as if it would have fallen into the old toons world.
Playmates toys at the time was also talking about this movie during toyfaire that year stating that the movie was going to have a huge cast of chracters and we would see the turtles meeting a long lost brother (as I said allready) & them going off to another planet.
And yes every word of this is true I'm not kidding.

You might also be thinking of The Epic Begins which combined the first five episodes into a movie by eliminating a lot of little bits here and there and all but one scene from the mouser episode. I know it was on video and pay-perview back in the day because the official site shows the video and I have a tape that was taped from pay-perview.

Wow dude, that is some crazy s***. It most likely would have sucked and yet made lots of cash, It would be cool to see tho.

Sure would have if the toys would have been atleast cool characters and good sculpts I would have got them in a second cause I have always loved the crazy mutants the mirage crew used to come up with and I miss then quite a bit in the toy lines :(

If this helps I do remember that it was played as a stand alone (I think) when I watched it. Krang the technodrome, and dimension x was in it. There was a battle between Krang and the turtles, In this battle scene crang exchanged his normal synthetic bodies arms for combat ones (arms with maces and stuff instead of hands), Krang also undergoes a transformation were he enlarges himself into a giant.

lol thats not a movie thats a vhs of episodes from the first season of the 80's toon.

I remember the TV Special with Groundchuck and Dirtbag. I had taped it but I think it's long lost now. Anyone know where to get a copy? Maybe they should release it with the old cartoon DVDs

Actually, would likely be part of the next Classic TMNT Set (that is, if they continue the Season Set stuff they began with Season 4).
** Still haven't seen anything on a next release for the Classic TMNT, so just making note of it this way for now.

I would be disappointed that they never made this movie if it didnt sound so terrible. Where did that Hulk mutating idea come from? I remember catching some of season ten accidentally well after I had stopped watching TMNT and thought that was a desperate cry for attention.

That temporary bulking-up in the last couple Seasons was said to be a "secondary mutation" effect of the mutagen.

And no that was the point I was making to many people just blindy go with what everyone else says especially the creator of something.

The incredible growing krang features in the season one compilation movie as stated above. Which coincidently I am at this very moment dubbing from video to DVD. It's quite funny because it still has all the old ads in it. The tape's held up pretty well considering I was five when I made it.
