Post photos of Splinter in a compromising situation on the internet.
Look at fan art.
Read fan fiction.

Fantasize about warm-oil Turtle wrestling.
Tap fingers incessantly on desk.
Re-read all of the comics I already have.
Do laundry.
Make dinner.
Pace back and forth.
Think about that oil wrestling idea some more...
azure turtle
02-14-2002, 08:34 PM
Oooh! FWTWF! Yes, we should start something like this! Good idea, Machias. We should start recruiting, then put everyone in the same thread and watch the madness. Of course, I don't think anyone will ever get up from my potent "Spinning Turtle Driver" finishing move. Oh, the fun we'll have!
azure turtle
02-14-2002, 08:36 PM
Oil wrestling?! Woah, calm down there, Skeletoncrew! I think that's a bit too intense for me.....

Knowing Kali, you guys would probly fight in chocolate. mm... chocolate covered turtles
*gets all dreamy looking*
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 08:45 PM
I don't care what its called as long as I get to be coated in oil and roll around with a Turtle! Or two, maybe three, four? Naw, that would be excessive.
Hmmm...what was it I was so hyper about to begin with?
Machias Banshee

Awww...now I'm gonna have to keep thinking of ways to pass the time until I get that comic!
Make list of things to do while waiting.
Surf eBay.
Cook more stuff.
Take care of pet quail.
Pay bills.
Happy Dance some more.
Listen to Pink Floyd.
azure turtle
02-14-2002, 08:54 PM
You have a pet quail? That's bodacious, dudette! I used to have a pair of birds before the passed to the other side  I can't remember the name of the species, though.

Start yet another computer program (Ehh...)
Chattin' up a storm with Machias and Skeletoncrew
Continue doing the happy dance (YES! I'll definitely do this later)

Wonder whether Azure turtle's face turns purple when he blushes?
Wonder how to make Azure Turtle blush...
Thinks about upcoming birthday rather than upcoming comic.
BTW, I may have read some of your stories Machias...I just don't know what name they'd be under.
Hey, that was Skeletoncrew's suggestion, not mine. I'm just telling you all that those pictures are already out there.

You're right, they'd be jealous.
Skeletoncrew

Oh he does, does he? *wicked glint in eye*
Well, he did when he was drunk.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:07 PM
Heh heh heh! Lots of things are fun when you're drunk! But surely Leo didn't get deliberately drunk? He seems like a bit too much of a goody-two-shoes for that.
No, Machias spiked the cider. Then he kinda semi-switched personalities with Raph. It was fun, I got in a cat fight with Venus afterwards.
Machias Banshee
02-14-2002, 10:09 PM
Well, i kinda spiked the cider... The clones didnt like it tho. Splinter chewed me out and the clones came after me after they got over their hangovers.
Well, at least one of us enjoyed the experience.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:11 PM
Sounds like a good time!
Things to do while I wait for the comic:
Listen to Lodger.
Do the "David Bowie is a god dance"
I personally want to read Brotherly Love again, but I can't so I'll settle for Forces within Yin and Yang.

Lodger???
I know David Bowie from "moulin Rouge". listening to it right now.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:18 PM
I'm a BIG Bowie fan. Lodger is prolly one of his lesser-known albums.
I've heard about the "Brotherly Love" story. Is it in limbo (unavailable) right now?
*nods* It's in limbo, along with several other GREAT TMNT fics.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:23 PM
Such a pity! BTW, I love your chibi Shredder with Mike and Raph!
Machias Banshee
02-14-2002, 10:24 PM
what does chibi mean anyway? Yes i am a french blonde, therefore i can have my moments.
One of my favorite pieces! I drew Shredder, then I tried to decide what evil thing he had done, and I decided he knocked over someone's block tower.
Chibi is Japanese for small or child. I think.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:27 PM
And thats exactly the sort of thing a little Shredder would do!
And poor Mikey! All sad, and Raph looking ready to kill Shredder for picking on his bro. It's all so cute, and I usually don't do cute stuff.
Machias Banshee
02-14-2002, 10:29 PM
Then That makes me a Turtle-chibi fan!!!

Yeah, I think I prefer seeing sexy adult turtles to cute child turtles.
Heh...what do I mean, "I think"? I know! Heh heh heh...
I'm with you on that one!
Words of warning: If you read an NC-17 fic before bed, be ready for some weird dreams.
Machias Banshee
02-14-2002, 10:43 PM
Yeah, i plan on making one hefty love scene involving myself and a certain character (might not be mike!) in my long story i'm planning to write. Ooh, yeah! :eyemouth:

Whoo hoo!
I have weird dreams even if I don't read an NC-17 story before bed! Unfortunately they're not usually very sexy.
Machias Banshee
02-14-2002, 10:48 PM
I had a strange dream that Mike had raped me once. I woke up crying from it.
I was uncomfortable at first, but then we talked and everythings okay now.
That's sad, but I've had a few like that. However, circumstances are usually different.
Skeletoncrew
02-14-2002, 10:51 PM
I had a dream over a week ago involving Cthulhu (Of H.P. Lovecraft fame). I woke up right about the time he started exploring me with his tentacles. I blame that portion of the dream on hentai.
Don't think I've had any Ninja Turtle dreams recently though.

hmm is that sayin that west coasters a little slow? lol sorry
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 06:01 PM
Well, it seems as if the West Coast will be the last place to get the new TMNT comic. Blah, total bummer, dudes. Oh well. Back to my turtle nap.

Thanks, but I'll get my own copy soon enough  I'm soooooo bored right now, but no one seems to be visiting the message boards. Not even a single guest  Ah well, there's always homework to do.

We have lives outside this board, you know.
Raph-clone: You do?!?
Shut up.
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 09:44 PM
 Yep, life is good. I like to escape it once in a while, though, and the Technodrome is the perfect place to do it. What more can one ask for then to be surrounded by a bunch of crazed turtle fans?
(Please, don't answer that question.....)
Ah, escaping reality, that's why I'm here too. I'm not anything like this IRL. Okay, well maybe a little.
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:12 PM
Heh heh. Me too. I guess my personality shows through my posts. Too bad I can't convince all the people I know IRL that azure turtles aren't dangerous....
Crazy maybe, but not dangerous.
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:17 PM
 I'll take that as a compliment.
As well you should, I meant it as one. Sane people are boring.
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:21 PM
Hmm...so true. Sane people aren't any fun, unless you spike their punch.
*giggles* Yeah, we did that to the clones awhile back. Leo really loosened up!
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:24 PM
Leonardo loosening up?! Now there's something that doesn't happen everyday. But I guess every turtle has his/her day. Yes! I remembered to be politically correct!
*gives himself a high three*
Yep, Leo really has a wild streak in him, if he'd only show it off more often. He got in trouble with Venus afterwards, though. Gotta watch those consequences.
azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:29 PM
Maybe we should try spiking Venus' punch?
*gets a glazed-over look* Maybe we should...

It all right for you lot, because of my global positioning I have to wait twice as long for the comic! Let's see things to do while I wait.
Watch my Jackkie Chan DvD's.
Listen to Smash mouth an upset the neighbors.
Look after my parrots and rat.
Take Ana to the park.
Wonder why I took Ana to the park in the rain.
Watch Samurai Jack and X- Men.
Talk about the Turtles and their planed comeback to anyone who will listen.
and last but not least, go thrift store shopping.
That all from me *Nunchucker waves and climbes back into the box*
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 03:41 AM
Sounds like you've got a nice long list, Nunchucker! Too bad you've got to wait a lot longer for the new comic book. Total bummer. Maybe you'll have more luck if you order straight from Mirage? You might get the comic a lot faster, but it's way more expensive than waiting for it to show up at the comic store.
Oy, I've got fan fics to finish. That's what I'm going to be doing while I'm waiting. *looks up at the Leaning Tower of Unfinished Fanfics*

By the great turtle gods! I still need to find things to do while I wait for the new comic. Let's see, what should I do? Oh, I know..
*weeps*
Okay, I'm done. Maybe I'll go and do homework now. Curse the luck!
Yikes, it's out! And I have no store in which to purchase this much beloved book.
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 04:39 PM
I know how you feel, Kali. I'm just happy that Mirage ships fast. I remember getting the first comic in the mail after about a week. Not too shabby, for a company on the east side of the country
Oh, and look at the new star that has found a home underneath my name! I guess I'm content for now.
*pout* But I missed the mailman today. I have to wait until tomorrow to send the payment out.
Oh well. *eyes the Tower of Unfinished Fanfics* Does that look unstable to you?
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 04:45 PM
*looks at the pile of unfinished fanfics*
Eh.....be careful, Kali. It looks like it's leaning towards the left. If that tower should ever fall, the results would be catastrophic.
*cringes* Just imagine the paper cuts. Geez. At least now that the Fan Art Awards are over, I can try and concentrate on my writing. There are only a few short months until the Fan Fic Awards. That should give me proper motivation.
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 05:03 PM
Yes! Way to go, Kali!
*cheers for Kali, so she'll become even more motivated*
Paper cuts? Ech. BTW, do you know what the link is for the results of the fanart awards? I found the site that listed the nominees, but I don't know what the results are (except for the two works here at the Technodrome).

Things to do while you wait for TMNT #2:
Surf ninja turtle stuff on e-bay!
I want those needle point kits!

This may not fit into the subject, maybe we should make like big decals of the emblem to put in the back windows of vehicles, sounds dumb but it would be cool. All I have is a Flowmaster sticker in my back window.

02-20-2002, 08:22 PM
How much was the comic anyways?
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 08:37 PM
The comic is four bucks if you order by mail. It sounds expensive for a comic, but there aren't any comic book stores around my school (well, none that I know of). And besides, Mirage has fast shipping. It's not too shabby.
coolmike1586
02-20-2002, 08:45 PM
my comic cost me $3.14 yea its not bad at all and the only bad thing is we have to wait till APRIL to get the next one DER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
$3.14? Oh yeah, tax. I like the idea of buying straight from Mirage, that way you know that most of the money goes back into the company.
coolmike1586
02-20-2002, 08:48 PM
hey i never thought of that
*shrug* Whatever's easiest. The comic's got a cover price of $2.95. Either pay taxes or shipping. Since I hate the government, I don't want to give them any money. I also want to cut out the middle man. My check's already written and ready to be sent.

One of the nice things about Oregon, is that we don't have sales tax! I can't wait to get my comic tomorrow!
*frown* I need to move to Oregon.
Skeletoncrew
02-20-2002, 11:02 PM
Oregon is kind odd though. You can't legally pump your own gas here! It took me a while to get used to that.
Oregon is odd? Heck, so am I! I adapt rather quickly.
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 11:04 PM
Hey, Dan updated the comic book page at the turtles official site! There are even sample pages!
*drools*
And hey, I like Oregon! My family and I have traveled northward several times. We always go camping when we pass by Oregon. Heck, sometimes we go all the way up there just to have a small camping trip, away from the busy city. I gotta say, Oregon is a beautiful state  And the "no tax" thing is always appreciated.
Skeletoncrew
02-20-2002, 11:10 PM

Well, I have at least one thing to do while I'm waiting...its time for me to go have pizza! (Thats another cool thing about Portland, lots of neat little pizza by the slice shops. This particular one has a basement area where bands come and play!)
azure turtle
02-20-2002, 11:44 PM
Oh no!
*checks his shell*
Phew, I'm okay!
*gives a thumbs up*
Oh, live bands and pizza?! That sounds like fun! I don't know any pizza places around my crib that offers that. I know places with good pizza, but no live entertainment
**suddenly, an anvil falls from the sky without explanation, Looney Tunes style, landing on the poor blue turtle**

They were probably trying to get even with me for some of my last few posts. But you're right! I shouldn't get nailed with anvils in here.
*shakes a fist in the air*
Ya hear that, you bunch of meanies! I can't go off topic in here!
*quickly dives behind a rock, and looks upward*
Eh......just no more anvils, 'kay????
*pats azure's head* That's okay, I won't let the mean ol' peoples hurt you.

No, I ordered from The Comic Box. There price was just $7 as well, what they don't tell people is that you have to pay tax, as well as customs and excise when it comes into your country! I think it is just the UK governments way of stopping us buying stuff cheaper in the US. Sneeky gits!
But when this comic store I found in Slough gets their shippment it won't cost me as much. But then again I am the girl who spent £1000 on a cockatoo I fell in love with. Is there no hope for me?

Okay, yeah... anyways... might as well make it know I'm ever rarely online at night. Only during the day at work, specifically during my lunch hour, can I post here. Math is hard! *does featherbrained hair flip*
Seriously though, I admire anyone who has the mind for that sort of thing. I just don't have a math brain. Ironically, I took two years of advanced physics in high school because I loved it so much. I couldn't really do the math, but I loved the classes!

I have to go through physics next quarter. I don't think physics is so bad, it's chemistry that I really despise. Ugh. As for math, I unfortunately have to take stuff that's beyond Calc once I finish with it.

I had the coolest physics teacher in the world! He often uses Far Sides and Foxtrot as the basis for problems on the tests. He also had mid-term and finals projects that saved my rear grade wise!
My dad and I got to build a small working trebuchet for one. I got an a+ on it!
azure turtle
02-22-2002, 01:06 AM
That's totally tubular, dudette! I wish my physics teacher was like that in high school. He was funny, but his tests were impossible!! I just hope my physics prof next quarter will know how to teach...
Skeletoncrew
02-22-2002, 01:24 AM
Well, at least my physics teacher didn't mind all the centaurs and stuff I drew on my tests. He often wrote comments about them. Its funny, some of my best drawings are the ones that I doodle when I'm supposed to be taking notes, or doing other schoolwork.
azure turtle
02-22-2002, 01:29 AM
Sweet! I used to doodle for my philosophy tests! They were often little stick figures commenting on his test questions. I can't draw  He always found it amusing, though. Sometimes he'd comment on my stick peoples' comments.
Skeletoncrew
02-22-2002, 01:30 AM
Hah hah hah! Thats great! Good that we had teachers/profs who didn't mind that sort of thing.
azure turtle
02-22-2002, 01:40 AM
Ya, I know! It made taking the test a little more fun. And hey, if I didn't know the answer to his question, I would draw mini-strips of my stick people trying to answer his question. It was a lot of fun.
Skeletoncrew
02-22-2002, 01:44 AM
I've never taken a philosophy course. I should. I hang out with people who occassionally make jokes based on Descartes and Nietzche (I probably spelled that wrong).

Hey! I just thought of a whole new bunch of thing I could do while I wait for Englands Comic Stores to catch up with America.
*Pop some pills for this doozy of a headache I've got*
*Make my snotty younger brother suffer for not letting me use the computer*
*Clean out my ducks*
*Walk the dog and get blow over in the gale force winds*
*Pop down the phoneline and tell Fanfiction.net what I really think about them*
That's it, can't think of anything else. My head hurts too much.
Well, I'm going to comment of the last few posts.
~Math isn't that hard. *ducks baps*
~I took two years of physics too!
~I've always loved philosophy. We had a small week on it in social studies, ninth grade, and I annoyed my teacher because I was always getting ahead of him.
~I took psychology in high school. Great teacher, lots of fun. The first teacher to take an intrest in my fan art and fiction (although it was back when I was into Gargoyles.)

Nunchucker, Are you refering to live ducks? As in, "Quack quack"? If so, why would you clean them out? And do I want to know how?
