TVListings reports a repeat of Future Shellshock.

Seems like a stupid thing to do with only 6 episodes left in the season.

It would be smart for them to air the last 6 eps during May sweeps rather than hold them off for the summer or Fall.

Hmmmm, that IS weird (NOT to say that I don't need to record it off on DVD, but still....). Me thinks I need to check around a few places (MSNTV, DishNetwork.com, DirectTV.com; etc.) to see what the haps is.

Did anyone else get a sick feeling in their stomach the first time they saw Future Shellshock?

wvah.com has "Future Shellshock", too. On an off-topic note, though, apparantly Sonic X is returning on May 5th.

They could have shown the newer episodes of FF rather than Future Shellshock. Or reshown some of the more recent episodes but why Future Shellshock?

seriously, what a way to make everyone turn the channel. They really should show a later eppy ar least. I think we have all seen that one quite a few times.
I would like to know the thought behind this and why someone thought it would make sense with so little of the season left

You bet. I'm getting tired of ignoring it.

Dramatic effect, I would imagine. You know... to build anticipation for what will probably not satisfy our hopes.

Ignoring it...Haha true story
On demand has been the same way...I have this vain hope that I will check the kids section and find something new or at least something besides just FF. It would be nice just to know they are giving 2K3 a leg up but that's an old complaint I know

Oh well, I'll just have to go see Spider-man 3 and then visit my comic shop for free comic book day. :D

I'll be giving Spider-Man a miss, thank you (my niece Ashley won't, if she knows it's in the theatre, being the Spidey-nut that SHE is!), as I hate any and all things Marvel, but I, too will be going to Free Comic Day at MY comic shop...AFTER I watch BOTH eps of TMNT (provided they're STILL running two eps).

And they're bringing back Sonic X? Cool. I just hope they use it to replace one of the Viva Pinata or Yu-Gi-Oh eps, OR to keep that idiotc Bratz from coming back. HATE that show!!!

Tinuvielsdreams
04-25-2007, 08:26 PM
yeah I can say Bratz should be the one to go if any of them, I actually am starting to find Viva Pinata fun to watch probably because I there is nothing else on to flip to that time of day and I am a hopeless cartoon junkie.
I would watch Sonic X again

Speaking of Spiderman 3, do you guys think that 4kids put a repeat on purposely that weekend because they know people are going to go to the theaters?

It does seem odd to just air the first FF episode randomly for one week...especially since they only have 6 eps left in the season and there's no point for holding these last 6 eps over for the Fall.

I assume and hope the rerun is just for that one Saturday.

I suppose they may be thinking that but turtles air in the morning and most theatres don't open until at least noon anyway.

Anyway I'm long past trying to understand the guys in charge. They skip an entire season. Then they send our boys into the future 100 years and completely overhaul all they have accomplished... I'll just stop there.

It's 4Kids; who KNOWS what the nitwits are thinking?

Although PERSONALLY, I'D rather watch ANY ep of FF; new OR rerun; than go see Spider-Man. I HATE that thing!!!

Six. I have them written down in my "Episode Calender".

Okay... considering they don't freaking care now, sure... air Future Shellshock for the trillionth time. I'll just watch that Legion of Superman or whatever that is instead. Give them even better ratings.

But I will say I'm glad Sonic X is back on, even though they are obviously reruns. And I gotta say, Viva Pinata doesn't suck that much. Got rid of Bratz. That's a plus in my book.

This morning, I began to wonder if it was the most repeated episode of the newer series (taking both 2K3 and FF into account).

Maybe they really are trying to gauge the ratings for 2k3 vs FF, but decided only one of them being new wasn't fair.. :P

It's aired twice in the UK to my knowledge.

Isn't May the 5th the 24th anniversary of Ninja Turtles?

Yowza You'd think we'd be hearing about something special going on either in the comics or the toy line.
Instead we haven't heard a thing for the comics vol.4 is on hold.
And playmates tells us they don't know where the line is heading...nice...or they could just be telling that to make us think nothing big is going on but I think I'll go with what I was told by them instead of wishing for cool things that more than likely wont happen.:ohwell:

I was ultra disappointed that absolutely nothing happened the year of the 20th anniversary. Especially that it wasn't even recognized by Comic-Con, which seems to recognize every other major anniversary in the comic industry. :tneutral:

Sounds like a great plan Rose!

And not airing new episodes during sweeps month when you have SIX new ones is just rediculous! Sweeps are when networks calculate which shows are doing well so the know what shows to renew for next year. If you air reruns during sweeps you get low ratings, it you get low rating you don't get renewed. So much for 4Kids's "great new direction" for TMNT to boost ratings. Now they don't even care about FF getting ratings during a month where it matters most it seems.

CyberCubed

They really are doing a shameful job airing the show.

I really really hope that rerun is for next Saturday only because if they start replaying eps 2 and 3 AGAIN as well the following weeks....ugh.

I really hoped to see the last 6 eps aired by June but if we're in for another 2 month rerun break before the last 6 eps then this show is doomed.

You'd think 4kids would know better.
