Favorite Character Moments

Ok. I started remembering all the differnent things I have seen in all the TMNT mediums. And I started to think. What was some of my most favorite scene with each character and in each medium. Or ones that stuck out.

Like in old toon. One of the funniest scenes that stood out. I do not know what episode it was, but Mikey was in the air, and Raph was on the ground and he cut Mikey loose and Mikey fell on his rear. Mikey yelps in pain, "OWWWEE. Thanks Raph!" Raph I think responded with "No problem!"

ANother old toon favorite scene involved Donny, and he was with some girl, and she thought up of an idea Donny liked. And he went something like "Gee, you're pretty smart for..." Then he gets interrupted by the girl, when she points an accusing finger at him "and if your going to say for a girl, then forget it!"

My favorite scene ever with Mikey is still his nunchuck duel with the Foot Ninja in the first TMNT.

I also think one of the funniest Leo moments was when they were in the heat of battle in April's aparment, when all of a sudden a bright light shines in the store, and a pissed off Leo turns around and snaps out "NOW WHAT!" This one gets my mom and I everytime.

So I think you know where I'm going. Stuff that stood out for you for each character in all the mediums. Or you could even tell us what you thought was the best fight for Leo, best fight for Don, funniest moment for Mikey or Raph. Or the funniest or most wittiest quote from one of the characters we have grown to love throughout the years.

And this could be all mediums. The 2k3 toon, Fastforward, OT, any of the movies. The comics. Maybe a part in the movie novels that were never put in the movies themselves. Anything.

My favorite moment from 2k3 is from the shredder strikes back part 2. Shredder kicks April's door in and walks into the room.

Shredder: "Say farewell to each other... while you still can."

Mike: "Oh yeah mr... spikey pants... well... you're the one who should be saying... farewell too... uh... to yourself."

Raph: "Oh yeah Mikey that got him."

I love how Raph delivers his that got him line. Makes me chuckle every time.

In one of the Archie comics Future Raph slugs Hitler in the face. God I loved that.

I love the eppy in 2K3 about the invisible ninjas.
Casey comes in and interrupts their training and calls it bushi doo doo
and then later Hun is questioning Raph asking who gave him his sais and Raph says "Your Momma" I don't know why but I just crack up!

Lone Raph and Cub is a great episode, its an interesting Raph centered twist to his character. He is a bit of a softy when he shows it
When he is sipping teas with Mrs. M and she tells him not to slurp

Donny and his pigeon puppet on the roof of the Utroms building.
Mikey's line the fact Don carries around a pigeon puppet is funny

I love the entire fight scene from start to finish in turtles one. I think it was well done from the time Raph is on the roof from the time they get away. There isn't much I don't like about that film

I don't know if I can pick from the old toon but I remember I used to watch the attack of the killer pizzas and the Mondo Gecko eppy a lot

Okay and from the comics...I would have to dig this out but I swear Splinter or one of his brothers catches Mikey on a couch with the green spikey alien chick, shoot I can't remember exactly but she popped up every now and then

I love in the OT how the turtles would acutally go out of character and plot and talk to the audience

For instance:

When Shredder gets away-
Leo: Oh, he got away!
Raph: Well after 100 episodes what did you expect?

or there was one episode I forget what it was but the turtles were looking for peperoni and then saw someone they had to fight and Raph says "Yeah next time can the writers come up with a better plot device?"

Its one of the things I love about watching the OT on TV is things like that I would have never noticed as a kid, I find hilarious now

Is it bad that I really like a Raph moment in FF? It's after he and Mikey see their future selves in a portal, and the future selves yell instructions at them. Raph turns to Mike and says, "Did your brain just snap?"

and of course...i like mike's quote as seen in my sig, referring to casey not willing to leave their home.

also when donnie told mike he was just sensitive, when they're battling monsters underground and mike's basically standing there pondering his own sensitivity while his bros are fighting to survive.

raph's tears in the original comics when they find splinter in the TCRI building, and in tales of leo when leo was unconscious was both something else, definitely.

i think it was the garbage man episode when mike did that victory dance with "t-m-n-t, what you get is what you see" and raph responded with "you know, seriously, you're just embarassing yourself." the look on mike's face was hilarious.

The funniest thing I can think of of the top of my head is Mikey with the Raph puppet in a FF episode. I was almost on the floor with that one.

TMNT1: any Don and Mikey moments, together or apart
TMNT2: the final battle scene in the club
TMNT3: this is tough, I guess the opening scene? I dk, this movie stunk lol

2k3 toon: a lot of moments, it's tough to pick really, i might have to break it down by season lol

FF: the Raph puppet

TMNT(4): Mike's skateboard scene and the final fight scence against the Foot and against the Generals

I don't know why, but my older brother and I were cracking up so much in the OT episode Sky Turtles, you see a big wavy looking thing coming from the ground and Don figures it out.

Leo: You're saying that's where the gravity is being affected?
Don: As Michelangelo would say, 'Exactamundo, dude'
Mike: Exactamu- so what do you think we should do?

I loved those too. There was one where Leo cracks a joke then he turns to the camera and says something like "And you though only the other Turtles could crack a joke!"

Lessee... for now, the one that sticks out as favourite Mike arc is from his Battle Nexus win to Grudge Match. It's got everything I want-- Mike/Raph fight, Raph spazzing, Mike spazzing, Leo angsting, Mike/Leo interaction and zomg-kickass-moves by, who else? Mike.

(After watching his rematch against Kluh, I had to pick my jaw off the ground to yell at the screen, "Why don't you fight like that ALL THE TIME?!! *lobs rotten pizzas at Mikey*")

We didn't get any scene of Mikey actually training under Leo, but it's still sweet. They're hardly ever shown interacting one on one, and I absolutely ate up that last part where Mike goes over to Leo and says thanks. I really thought the writers would've forgotten about the training subplot until then. :) And I think Leo's assistance might've gone a long way to the understanding Mikey shows him during Samurai Tourist.

And it's really nice to see Don act like your typical older brother and savouring Mike getting pounded to dust by Kluh. Shows you he's got his own little Raph streak too. :lol:

I really wanna catch the ep of Raph and Mrs. Morrison. GAH.

I like this part of the 2k3 episode.

Mikey: Did that thing just talk!?

Donnie: It's intelligent!

Raph: Mikey talks and he's not intelligent.

I laughed at that!

And in the first TMNT movie, i liked the part where Leo and Raph fight. I have almost leared it! ^_^

And in the second one, i liked the part where Mikey had the guy over the counter.

Mikey: You wanna pickle? I'll give you a pickle!

God, i loved that part! ^_^ It was so funny! And i liked the part where Mikey's doing the backflips. And then he trys to make it sound like he's doing them, and Splinter gives him that look.

And in the 2k3 episodes, i like what Leo says at this part. Leo: Well, it not your regular mail. I guess Mikey would call it "Air mail!"

I love the voice he puts on for him. Gosh, i have so many, I don't know if I could say them all in one post. I guess i'll stop here.:)

That was funny, especially since this was supposed to be a serious episode and all.


TMNT 2 had some funny ones. I loved the part when Donny rips of the tape on Raph, and Raph was likeWhy don't you just rip my lips off while you are at it! then Donny puts the tape back on to shut Raph's trap.

But then later when Donny finds the professor, and he takes the tape off of his mouth and the professor screams. Then Donny goes, Man, I got to get the hang of that!
But of course, Professor's facial expression of seeing a mutant turtle was hilarious.

- Tales of Leo. They are remembering when Leo saved Don from drowning when they were kids...and then Don just says "What? You didn't save the car?". The look on Leo's face was priceless! :lol:

- The Shredder Strikes Back, pt 1.
Mike: "Scrambled eggs alright with everyone?"
Everyone: "Again?!"
Mike: *flinches at the responce*

First Movie
When Raph is just alone on the rooftops, over looking the city before he is attacked by the Foot. No need for words or a witty comment...it's just nice and sober.

And let us not forget the first movie's final fight scene. Shredder, kicking the turtles all around the roof tops with what seems like no effort? Pure awesomeness.

That whole scene in Shredder Strikes Back Pt 2 when Casey makes his grand entrance and wipes the floor with the Foot Elite.

Not that I'm a huge Casey fan, but this scene, to me was sheer awesomeness.

In Shredder Strikes Back Pt 2, things are looking grim for the four green heroes. When, all of a sudden, like a bat out of a duffel bag from hell, Casey Jones crashes through the window on his motorcycle. Slow-motion, guitar riffs in the background. :lol: I remember actually cheering when I saw that first time.

Casey then proceeds to kicking the crap out of the foot ninja with his motorcycle. At last he dismounts and removes his hood revealing his identity.

CASEY: Now that's what I call crashin a party.

RAPH: Casey! (I am totally feeling that relief Raph must have been feeling -- he was about to get sliced up and would have were it not for Casey.)

CASEY: Though I never seen a lamer party in my life! *smacks two foot elite like it's nothing* Where's the band? *sees April* You okay babe?

APRIL: Don't call me babe.

SHREDDER: OBLITERATE him!

CASEY: This can't be the band. I want rock and roll man! Good thing I brought my own drumsticks! Now... who wants to be the drum? :evilgrin:

Actually what happned in this scene is that the turtles where getting attacked by a giant man eating plant that started picking them up and throwing them around. Leoanrdo gets picked up and Michaelangelo goes to save him but gets lifted off the ground instead, while Raphael just stands there and does nothing. Then the plants thows Michaelangelo on the ground on his ass at Raphael's feet. Michaelangelo then angrily picks him self self up rubbing his bruised butt and yells "thanks a lump Raphael!!" Raphael just snickers and Says: "No problem buddy", and Michaelangelo glares at him.
