It's on ninjaturtles.com to see for yourself, here's what was posted:
In the forum on usagiyojimbo.com, creator Stan Sakai states: "Space Usagi (and Rhogen) will be in a couple of episodes of next season's TMNT cartoon. I just received one of the script outlines this past week, and it's wonderful - lots of action, but still time for character and relationship development."
Sounds cool. Hopefully we'll get a new Space Usagi toy from Playmates as well!
It also says "a couple of episodes" so it looks like he'll be part of a story arc rather than a one-shot episode. :D

YAYNESS!!!!! yes yes yes I'm so excited! *claps madly*
:blanksta: Holy schnikes... Sounds like they might be straying from the train-wreck that was the beginning of Fast Forward. They said, "character and relationship development"! :o And, it could be an indication that they're ditching the full-on 'standalone' format. Sounds good to me! :thyper:

Space Usagi huh... well it'll be good to see at least one familiar face from the past in FF. I wish there would be at least more talk of the friends they have waiting for them in the past. Hopefully this may lead to some more of that. The only ones I ever even remember hearing mentioned are April and Casey.

There is a God after all.
And just FYI for anyone that does not know already, Space Usagi is not Miyamoto Usagi, but instead a descendant of his.

Usagi is Usagi...either way. :) Happy to hear we'll be seeing him....sort of. lol
While I knew he wasn't the same character, I never considered this before. Do you think he'll be voiced by the same actor as the bodyguard (Yojimbo)?

I think they'll use the same voice actor for him.
In the Usagi comics the two Usagi's act pretty much the same from what I've read, so I don't really see a reason to change the voice.

Looks like there making a combined effort to retool the show significantly. Already several plots established in the earlier run have been changed and expanded on, the filler eps are becoming less frequent etc.
Space Usagi fits perfectly into this kind of future, and given how obscure the pilot for the Space Usagi series was (not even by Battletoads standards), it's a great way of introducing that peice of the Usagi franchise into TMNT
FF could become the Batman Beyond style show it absolutley was'nt when it began, and I'm objective enough to admit that

It's nice of you to admit when you're wrong Zarius...:P Just messing man.
Good to hear >> may be getting stronger stories.

I'm not admitting I'm wrong on anything, as the episodes before them were either completly overrated or just awful, we'll see if consistency (which again, is the only reason I was against FF) continues to pull audiences and critics like myself in.
I'm waiting for your admissions of flat out guilt though, backing those awful episodes:P

I've never completely backed >>, I agree it's inferior to 2k3, I just never thought it was as bad as everyone let on is all. I mean, NT:TNM is the lowest TMNT has sunk. >> is no where near that bad.

Yeah maybe it'll be a reverse Batman Beyond...cause honestly we don't really want it to be Batman Beyond, we want it to be only one season and a hndful of episodes of Batman Beyond.
Already too late for it to be only one season. Space Usagi will be joining >> next season... :ohwell:

He means that Batman: Beyond was only really good in it's first season and a few episodes peppered in here and there.

They're probably doing this because they need a fresh plotline for next season.
The whole Darius Dun and Shokonobo's "Day of Awakening" stories seem to be wrapping up with the close of this season. If they're to stay in the future a little while longer, the writers need to come up with new story material for the next season.
I've always wanted the Turtles to meet the Utroms ala the way Volume 4 did it on Earth and see Mortu and Fugitoid again. Hell, can anyone picture Fugitoid and Serling talking to one another?

:o *head explodes* ... *twice*
Man, this is great news. Fast Forward sounds like it is gearing up to be something better than what it already is. The promise for character and relationship development is a godsend to me. And Space Usagi...what can I say?! It's frickin' SPACE USAGI!! I'll probably watch the episode introducing him now that I have heard of so much praise about Fast Forwards' development :D
... *head explodes for one last time*

So is he really going to appear after all ? I've been reading that it got cancelled. :(
You've been reading people overreacting. Production was halted and they're considering taking the show in a direction closer to the 2007 movie. This could be the end of Fast Forward, but doubtfully the end of TMNT on TV. If they take a year off to air all the unaired eps they have, they'll likely get back to it after that's done. 4Kids has nothing more reliable going for them, so they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they threw in the towel. What this means concerning Space Usagi is anyone's guess.
