OMG I love these kinds of threads:

-Suck their thumb while sleeping...MIKEY!!!
-Bite their nails...DONNIE! Although like myself, I think he would outgrow it by a certain age. However, if it is out of anxiety, RAPHAEL is the only limbic one of the bunch.
-Wash the dishes (get stuck washing the dishes?)...I think Splinter would actually make sure that everyone gets his turn.
-Be a clean/neatness freak...LEO, since he is the only one with the Judging preference (and a very strong one to say the least).

And now here are some of my own:

Which TMNT character in ALL universes is most likely to:

- Be a gossip- April of course, or Irma
- Be a sports nut- Raph and Casey
- Be the teacher's pet- Leonardo and Donatello (if Don was in school you know he'd always raise his hand and get every answer right. Baxter was probably the same way which led to him being picked on which led to him entering mad scientist mode)
- Do poorly in school- Mikey and Raph, too distracted and too troublesome. Casey probably did bad in school too.
- Win a dance contest- Baxter probably got some killer moves, but I give this one to Shredder.
- Win a beauty contest April, even if she really didn't want to enter.
- Win a science fair- need you ask.... Don and Baxter, and an Ultrom disguised as a human XP
- Win in Jeopardy- Again... Don and Baxter....
- Be a workaholic- that's all old toon April ever was....
- Be a shopaholic- uhh.... hmmm put Mikey in a surfshop store... Don in a Radio Shack...
- Be a gambler- Raph and Casey
- Be a fairy tale addict- Irma, always waiting for her knight in shining armor. I know most might say Mikey, but he's more a comicbook superhero/sience fiction buff than a fairy tale one

As for the original 4 questions-

suck their thumbs while sleeping- Bebop, Rocksteady and most likely Vernon.
bite their nails- Vernon
cleaning the dishes- like someone else said, Splinter would make sure all 4 turtles get their turn. Living alone, April and Irma do their own dishes.
neatness freak- probably April. Splinter sure was, and always made sure all 4 turtles cleaned up their messes.

:lol: I'm going to go with the so-far generic answers:
Thumb sucker: Mikey because he is uninhibited and wouldn't try to hide the fact he is in touch with his inner turtle-tot
Nail-biter: definitely Raph as he suffers the highest level of anxiety of the four, and simultaneously is the least adept at dealing with anxiety.
Washer-upper: I agree with Scandia that they would all have to do their share but in the events of strops or tantrums (looking at Raphael here) I think Donatello would quietly take over the duty - bless
Clean-freak: leo - nuff said.

- Be the teacher's pet - Now, I think this depends on the teacher. If the teacher is male, Leo most likely. If it's a female, Donnie, because he's smart and charming.
- Do poorly in school - Mikey. I think Raph might do good, seeing as he competes with Leo alot, and might put more into his scholastics if it's a challenge.
- Win a dance contest - I have no idea. Depends on what kind of dance. Hip hop, clubbing type dance and break dancing, Mikey. More formal dancing, I see Leo.
- Win a beauty contest - I have no idea. April I guess. But I always thought Karai was prettier,
- Win a science fair - Take a guess! Unless Mikey and Raph decide to lock him in the closet!:D
- Win in Jeopardy - Depends. While Donny is a technical and mechanical genious, Jeopardy has a lot of questions dealing with historical times. How is he in that area compared to the others?
- Be a workaholic - Depends on the kind of work. If it was something that required discipline and strictly by the book, Leo. If it's the scientist type, Donny. If it's an artist or author (they are absolutely nuts when it comes to their work in progress) Mikey, of it's something like a sporting event or being a crime stopper, Raph.
- Be a shopaholic - Mikey. I can just imagine the credit card bill if he ever went into Best Buy to just "glance" at the new video games that are out.
- Be a gambler - Raphael. I can just see him now with those plastic green visors on now!
- Be a fairy tale addict - I have no idea. Urma?

Irma is NOT nerdy.

As a proud class nerd, I can tell you that Irma is NOT what is considered a nerd in any way.

She seems to have no interests other than men. A true nerd would be much more into academics and geeky hobbies and succeeding in a chosen career.

You know, I think people are confusing Mike being a gossip for Mike not being able to keep a secret too well (and yes there's a difference). For instance, in movie II, he all but told Keno where they were staying. Got hit in the head twice for it. But I agree-- he's no gossip.

But lemme see: Leo- briefs or boxer briefs for support during practice. Donnie- boxers cause they may not get as hot when he's sitting down. Raph- briefs if he's out kicking the baddies. All 4 would join for different reasons. Although if Donatello joins, it would probably be for very unusual reasons. For the traditional ones, Mikey and perhaps Raph. For the belonging and the ritual and the leadership, then Leo.

Morning person - Michelangelo -Oh God I can just imagine him bouncing around with packs of energy at the crack of dawn! - throw a pillow at him!!
Afternoon person - leonardo - definitely not the type to suffer an energy slump in the afternoon.
Evening person - Donatello - I can just imagine him staying up late working on his science.
Night person - Raphael - Nightwatcher - 'nuff said.

Naps - Mikey
Naps - also Splinter (as he ages I can imagine him dozing off in front of his "stories" :lol: )

funny I would have thought Leo would be the morning person not Mikey. I can picture leonardo up at the crack of dawn with Splinter to train. Michaelangelo strikes me as some one who wouldn't want to get out of bed until about noon. I just picture him staying until the wee hour of the morn playing video games and then sleeping until noon. In fact I think he would hate getting dragged out of bed by a overly dilligent Leonardo to put in three hour of training before breafest.

I agree with every thing you have said here execpt that I don't think Mikey would wear BVDs ;) I see him more of being some one that wears nothing at all under his clothes for some reason.

I agree some how I can see Mikey submiting to a tradional paddling, or cleaning the floor while wearing a dress with his tooth brush. Although Some how I see Mikey drawing the line if he had to something criminal or mean/violent to an innocent person. Thats just what I think.

Actually I could imagine all four of the turtles going to prom night, even Raphael. Although he would be more impatient about getting out of there and out of his stuffy tux. And Dontello I see having the pick of his girl for prom and being pretty popular with all the other gilrs attention while there. SDonjust strikes me as drawing the attention of the girls away from their dates with even trying. But I gotta ask, what makes you say Leonardo would have two left feet? I never would have pegged him as a bad dancer, actually i think Leoanrdo would be quite capable of busting a move or two on the dance floor :lol:

I completely agree with you on the Donatello thing! I can immagine Donatello being a snarky little snot in class and interupting the teacher every few minutes to give his two cents and sublely putting the teacher down for not knowing something at the same time. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Donatello would be a thorn in every teachers side in school and getting in trouble for it.

haveing casual romances doesn't really mean bed hopping or anything negative like that. I meant who is more likely to just go out on alot of dates with diffrent gilrs with out being exclusie with any one.

1. Skipping class - Mikey or Raph would definitely be the first to skip class, Don would enjoy the opportunity to learn more and Leo has that obedient trait where he has trouble breaking rules, though I could see Donny getting bored of learning stuff he already knows, so he could skip I guess.
2. Bored easily - Mikey, he is very active and childlike in some ways, he's always making wise-cracks and sometimes doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut in a serious situation.
3. Loud music - Raph, maybe Mikey, Raph definitely seems like a loud music listener, Mikey may listen to some rock music too. Don and Leo seem to need easy-going music.
4. Be silent for long - This is a tough one, staying silent, I can see all of them putting up a good fight with this one, Leo is discilplined, Don's always the quiet type, Raph can be quiet from all his experience of pouting and stuff, and Mike strikes me as a competitive person, so if he were competing to see who can be quiet the longest, I can see him putting up a good fight, but in regular life, he can't be quiet for too long.
5. Food fight - definitely Mikey, and Raph, too. Mikey is fun and food fights are his style, and Raph's quick and short temper can lead to a food fight. I can see a situation where Raph gets mad and throws food, then Mikey starts throwing some thinking it would be fun.
6. Impress April - Mikey and Raph are definitely show offs, but Don I think has the closest relationship with April, however, I don't see Don as a 'try to impress a girl' type of guy, he already has a close relationship with her.
7. Not accept a power outage - Don is probably what comes to mind first, but I can see him trying to make use of non-electrical stuff and inventing a source of energy or something. Mikey seems like a video game/movie/TV type of guy, so Mikey definitely, maybe Don. Raph and Leo would probably take advantage and train.
8. Principle's office - goes back to the skipping class thing, most likey Raph or Mikey, Raph is a rebel, Mikey is active and too fun-loving to worry about rules sometimes.

Funny, just about every time I've seen him meditating in the new show, his brothers are doing it at the same time.

- a morning person Leonardo. He seems to be the more diciplined one to have an internal clock having him get up in the morning, and be happy about it.

an afternoon person: Donny, I bet he'd be full throttle at about this time into one of his inventions or something.

an evening person: It's dinner time, and mostly everyone is home, so this would be Mikey;s favorite time. He would have gotten wode awake at about this time to play his games, have fun, etc.

a night person: Raph.

And also, which Turtle/character is likeliest to take naps? Which one is likeliest to be an insomniac? The Turtle most likely to take naps would probably be Mikey, with Donny close behind. Insomniac, more than likely Raph, with Leo close behind. Inomniacs are usually the kind of individuals that worry alot, and Raph and Leo worry the most out of the four.

Mikey would be the hustler. Raph would be the sort to mess somewhat up for trying to hustle him. ANd besides, Raph may be angry, and have his own ideas on how things should be run, but I can never find him to be the sort to be devious into winning something like a game.

This is one just for fun. I got the idea in my head just as I tried to fall asleep for the 3rd time last night.

Anyhoo, in your opinion. Which of the turtles (or any character) is most likley to:

-Suck their thumb while sleeping
-Bite their nails
-Wash the dishes (get stuck washing the dishes?)
-Be a clean/neatness freak

Those are all I can remember at the moment. Although anyone can suggest a few if they like.

in my opinion:
Mikey would suck his thumb
Raph would get stuck cleaning the dishes
Donny would bite his nails
and Leo would be a neat freak.

hmmm:
Mikey and Leo would be the kinda guy who'd be at Frats, but Leo would be president, Raph would be the sorta bully that beats other bullies up... sometimes other people too, Donny would be one of those who gets picked on...

Donny would work at Microsoft
Leo would be Manager of some place... i guess something in stocks?
Raph would be in law enforcement (no duh), maybe lose his badge several times through his career

Regarding full time jobs:

Leo would be a teacher of some sort. Not necessarily strictly a martial arts instructor. Or he would work at a history museum.

Donnie would definitely be into computers. Or a chemist.

Raph would be a security guard or a bouncer at a club. Or a bodyguard.

Mikey would work at a surf shop or be a lifeguard.

I remember in the OT episode Splinter Vanishes...
Raph was an entertainer at birthday parties and stuff (but this is OT Raph bare in mind)
Leo was an aerobics instructor and stuff
Mike was a TV chef
Don was like a handyman kinda guy who worked in a "fix-it" shop of some sort.

I can see Don working in the fix-it shop, probably in the back, though.
Mike may be a chef, but not on TV
Raph I can see being like a police informant or something where he can disguise himself and help the police
Leo would probably be like a teacher or manager or something, something involved with leading.

- Why would Leo dislike science specifically? Since it was my favorite subject and I used to teach it and still work with it in my current job quite a bit, I am curious about this. Which science branch would he dislike most, or least?

- Why would Donnie dislike English class? And would it be literature or grammar?

- About Raph and math, would it be lower math like arithmetic or higher math like calculus (if he gets there)? What would be so appealing about history to him?

- Same for Mikey and math.

Leo - Definately history. He is passionate about ancient Japan especially.

Don - Physics for obvious reasons and perhaps Chemistry

Mike - Art and Composition. I can see mike loving to draw and write his comics.

Raph - Criminal Justice and Sociology for obvious reasons. Raph loves to punish criminals. He would love to learn of the C Justice system.

-Who would be scared of needles (getting a shot)? I do not know if Raphael's fear of needles is canon or not. But I can see him not being fond of needles. I had some bloodwork done today, curiously.

-who would most likely have a fear of doctors or going to the hospital? Perhaps Michelangelo? Raphael could be afraid of it, but he is likelier to confront that fear.

-who do you think would be the most uncomfortable around girls? On one hand, Donatello's best friend IS a girl and he has a crush on her. On the other hand, he has not been shown having any other love interests or even female friends. Leonardo would be a close second, since he is so honorable and upright and may not feel comfortable if the girls are dressing too provocatively or acting too seductively.

-who would be most likely to get picked for jury duty? Leonardo, hands down.

-who (if they ever got married) would be mostly likely to get hen pecked by their wife? In theory, Donatello, since he is the quietest and least demanding one. In practice, Michelangelo may have already been tricked into believing he sired children that are not biologically his.

Wow! Cool thread! I wish I had been participating more.

I kinda agree with others on the favourite subjects, but I'll state my own choices anyway.

Favourite subjects in school:

Leo: History, English maybe (especially Literature), maths maybe. Least favourite: I agree with Sage Ninja that maybe he wouldn't be big on science. He's very spiritual and science might seem cold and sterile to him.

Don: The sciences (especially Physics), Shop, higher maths. Old toon Don would enjoy Economics. Eh, Don's so eclectic I bet he'd love History and Literature, too.

Raph: P.E. or Shop, but I don't see him fitting well into structured classes, even if he's interested in, say, Criminal Justice. ;) He'd probably hate most subjects, especially boring nerdy ones like any math.

Mike: Art, English (Writer's Craft, not so much grammar or literature of stuff), P.E. Like Raph, he also wouldn't really enjoy the courses that are too methodical, like math.

1) For some reason I could see Raph or Don both freaking out at needles.

2) Wooh, all of them. They'd be scared of getting dissected.

3) Actually, Raph. He had the fewest social skills, I think. I can see him lacking rather badly in chivalry. I can see Don being cute and awkward with girls. Leo would be closed-off and quiet and shy. But I don't think they'd offend as much as Raph. ;)

4) Leo, jury duty.

5) What's that mean? Um. I could see Raph be totally whipped by some tough girl who bossess him around?

-Well, Donatello and Michaelangelo did get side jobs in the new movie; of course, they only stopped fighting crime because splinter was forbidding it until they were a team again. Any of them might choose to do something else with their lives in addition to crime-fighting, but I doubt any would completely give up the practice since they're so used to it being a part of their lives.

-Tell-all book. Probably any.

-NT vs. OT; I guess that depends which version you ask :lol:

-Family scrapbook. Any of them.

For me, it's...
1. Mike, Leo, maybe Don. Mike and Don have shown creativity at certain points, and Leo does strike me as kind of a writer.
2. I'm gonna include all four turtles on this, I'd say Don plays baseball, Leo plays basketball, Raph plays football, and Mike plays soccer. I've seen a few shows where people calculated odds and degrees of angles and stuff in baseball, Don could be one of those people who angles his swing just right for a homerun. (You don't have to just hit the ball hard for it to go far, most of it is angles and math-related.) Don's calculations could be a designated hitter in that case or could be like catcher so he wouldn't have to move too much. Leo has good hand-eye coordination when throwing those shiruken things and shooting 3 pointers in basketball could be right up his alley, then again, he could be a good pitcher in baseball, too. Raph is strong, like most football players, I don't think anyone would disagree with me in stating that Raph would make a pretty good runningback or defensive lineman or something. Mike is quick on his feet and is an admirable quality in the game of soccer. I don't know much about soccer, so positions are not coming to mind.
3. Mike seems like the obvious choice, but Don's inventions are capable of it. Raph's temper could cause him wrecking something.
4. Mike seems like to watch funny stuff, maybe Don, because Don seeked out a humorous partner in the first movie when Don talked to Casey when Mike became serious and trained hard and stuff.
5. Leo would watch serious shows like CSI and stuff, Raph doesn't seem like a TV type.
6. Don could invent stuff that would help make a fine dining experience, but Mike seems to pop up more in my mind. Leo also seems like the cooking type.
7. Raph or Mike, maybe Don. I'd say Don would be probably the best at it, I'd just imagine him being the best at reading people, but I guess ninja training could further that, so Raph and Mike would be good, too. In this case, Leo would probably be the best poker player, but probably detests gambling in all sorts, whereas Raph detests gambling when he's betting on some fighting or something.
8. I can't imagine any of them singing, but maybe you guys can help me out with that one.

1. Write poetry: Michelangelo because of his interest in writing, but I could see Leo whipping off a few haikus. You never know about Raph though – for someone who does so much brooding, he’d have plenty of material. Roses are red, Leo’s a jerk. One day I’ll be leader and punch out his smirk :D

2a. Baseball: I’ve heard all that math stuff about the game too and agree with Cowbell’s vote for Donatello.

b. Basketball: Probably all of them because it’s so adaptable to sewer living. I remember Leo had a basketball hoop up in the new lair (after they moved out of the apartment in Casey and April’s building. Sorry folks, I never remember issue/volume info)

c. Football: Raphael – good way to work off aggression.

d. Soccer: Michelangelo – good way to harness his agility and speed.

3. Start a fire: Deliberately start a fire? Maybe Raph.
Accidentally start a fire? Donnie!

4. Comedic sitcoms: Michelangelo

5. Serious stuff: Leo/Don/Raph

6. Good cook: Leo and Donatello probably have the most patience for following complicated recipes and Donnie could incorporate his knowledge of chemistry (kind of like Alton Brown. Yup, I so watch the Food Network)

7. Poker: All the lads. I remember they were playing poker to kill time in City at War. Maybe Leo and Don wouldn’t be high rollers in Vegas, but I can easily picture them enjoying games amongst friends.

8. Good singer: Well, Raphael certainly has powerful lungs. Maybe in another lifetime he would be a world renown tenor …. Or a rock/metal singer. Leo and Don could be fantastic singers, but not have either the interest or the need to show it to the world. Mikey, I can imagine him (whether or not he sings well) constantly singing along to his favorite tunes.

Raphael: OT Version: being disrespectful with the teachers and his peers by being sarcastic and disdainful. NT version: getting into fights and walking out of class when he gets pissed off.

But as for these...
1. I'd say Mike, but as we all saw in SotO, they all can dance when it comes to Vanilla Ice freestyle.
2. I can see Mike, Leo, Raph, and I guess maybe at times Don. They all have a spatial side and would like to relax sometimes.
3. Again, Mike, Don wouldn't like Dane Cook's humor, he'd go for more of a calm, mellow comedian. Raph might like Dane Cook, and maybe Mike, too, but Leo doesn't strike me as a comedy club-goer.
4. AGAIN, Mike, maybe Don being a pacifist who would never tackle a girl.
5. Hmmmm, toughy, well again, I'd see Mike signing the most autographs, but I don't know who'd be asked the most. I guess Raph being on the streets of NY a lot.

if the turtles where to go to Wolly Wonka's Chocolate factory, which of the turtles would:

fall in the river of chocolate and get stuck in the pressure tube- it was Augustus Gloop who did that, and Michelangelo eats too many pizzas, so probably Michelangelo.

get turned into a giant blueberry- this happened to Violet Beauregarde for chewing too much gum. While none of the Turtles chew gum, Donatello would likely get addicted to caffeine. Donatello would also forget his other needs in order to work on inventions- they give him a high of a sort. So Donatello would be the winner.

get stuck floating in that giant bubble tube of death with the giant blades- Mikey Teavee was the one who got this consequence. He was addicted to TV and video games. In the OT, Raphael watches the most TV. In the NT he also likes videogames. He and Donnie even stay up all night once playing some video game. So Raphael would be the one facing this.

get thrown in the garbage shoot wih all the bad golden eggs- this happened to Veruca Salt and her parents who are just like her. Though Leonardo is not a rotten egg in any way, "like father, like son" applies to him. He's the apple of his father's eye and does his share of brownnosing. And he can be a bit demanding. So by this loose association, Leonardo gets this one.

Crack first? I'd say Mikey, he's too light-hearted to have already had a plan for this, but then again, he'd be the most optimistic in the situation. Raph's temper might cause some borderline-insane actions, but I don't know. I'd say Mike.
Self harm? Hmmm, Leo and Don would definitely think more than the other two would, so I'd say Raph would be the first to do self harm, so Raph is my pick.
Harm others? Eek, I can't imagine any of them harming their brothers, but other people? Still don't know. If I have to give an answer...hmm...Mikey? Nah, not Mikey, but I don't know, Don has a mad scientist side, but he's pacifistic, still don't know. Leo wouldn't harm his brothers, but if it were someone else like the people who are usually involved in those, where they've done some pretty criminal things, I'd say Leo has it in him to do it, but I still don't know. I don't think I can answer this accurately, so I'm gonna leave it to you guys.
Survive? They all have qualities that would help, even Mike, Mike's fast, so he'd get through the torture sequences the fastest probably, leaving him the least hurt of the four. Raph's very strong, so he can take the most pain. Leo has very good instincts and can try to figure out ways to get out. Don is obviously very smart, probably smarter than Jigsaw, and probably has the ability to figure out a way to get out of it. If I have to give one answer, I'd say Don, but that's me. I think they'd all survive in my opinion, but who'd be the least hurt? Don't know. I think Don would be in the best shape by the end, he'd probably figure out a Magyver-esque way of escaping without pain.

My picks are...
Mike would crack first.

which turtle would crack and go insane first? I'm leaning towards Leonardo since everything would go so contrary to the code of Bushido he is accustomed to.

Which would be the most willing to do self harm to to live? Perhaps Raphael. He just wants to get through it alive and would not be so concerned with coming out intact as with coming out period.

Question One, because Michaelangelo tends to inspire every ones protection since he is the baby of the family (and because he can uninpressionable)...and possiably he tends to land him self in the most trouble while in battle.

Question two, because I think do to Raphael's temperment, Raphael is given more allowances and gets away with stuff more than his brothers when its comes to certain things. I don't see Splinter being as tolerant with any of the other turtlres if they where to have an outburst and try to storm away. And I think Leo is the least because Splinter expects so much of Leonardo and there doesn't want him to step out of line.

Question three because Leonardo and Splinter have so much in common and share the same passion for ninjitsu. And to a lesser extent Raphael because he is also passionate about ninjitsu.

Michelangelo's easygoing temperament would prevent him from cracking down easily or engaging in violence quickly. On the other hand, he's so easily distracted that he would probably not be the lone survivor. He may lose control and get killed off by an enemy.

Most likely. He's very independent (even though they all are realistically), and I'd say the most emotionally mature of them, 'cause he doesn't make big deals out of nothing and still takes seriously everything that need to be taken seriously.

I am curious as why you put spring and summer for Raphael. Isn't he the most cynical and negative Turtle? I'm just imagining Vivaldi's "Allegro from Spring" playing in the background and Raph yelling at whoever's playing it to turn it off.

My guesses for this after MUCH deliberating.

Springtime- Leonardo. He's an optimistic and encouraging leader. He's idealistic. I can see him appreciating the flowers blooming and birds singing for some reason.

Summer- Michelangelo. Surf's up! School's out! OK, so Splinter would teach them year-round. But I can see Mikey liking summer best of all the seasons.

Autumn- Raphael. Toughest one to pair up. But the leaves turn red. It's harvest time, so he gets the grains to make his cereal. He can push Mikey into the piles of leaves.

Winter- Donatello. Everything gets cryogenized. He's the calmest Turtle and the least likely to mind if they cannot go out to engage in physical activity.

Now people, people, PLEASE tell me WHO do you think is likeliest to seek his birth parents, and who is least likely as well.

Assuming 80's turtles.

1)Michelangelo would fall into the chocolate. The dude's a glutton.

2)I'm going to say April gets turned into a giant blueberry. A gum that has the taste of a three course dinner? She wouldn't be able to pass up a story like that. Having her become a huge blueberry would be the Wonka punishment for her always rushing into things. The oompa loompas would probably sing a song about how she should look before she leaps as they roll her away.

3)Raphael would have trouble with the fan, because he wouldn't care about any rules.

4)Donatello would have problems with the eggs, maybe in an attempt to examine whether they were bad or not?

That leaves Leonardo the winner of the factory, with Splinter as his Grandpa Joe or whatever his name was.

Rides? Mike is definitely going on ALL the rides. I imagine Mike going on all the rides with at least one of his brothers and would probably not want to go on a ride alone, just for the company and the more fun. Raph would like the thrilling stuff like the inverted shuttle and rollercoasters. I can't imagine Leo having fun at an amusement park, then again I don't see him relaxing and just letting loose too much. I get a similar vibe from Don, but Don is a little less of a stick in the mud than Leo and it's easier for me to see Don on a ride than Leo. Don would probably be something like maybe stunt shows or 3-D stuff or basically stuff where you just sit and enjoy the entertainment the park provides, but I can see him on just about everything, calculating wind resistance and velocity and stuff on rollercoasters and whatnot but also enjoying a more relaxing ride like bumper cars or like a Disneyworld ride where you just sit in a boat or car and watch things as you move along.

Pizza toppings?
I'd say Raph is the meat lover: Sausage, Pepperoni, Ground Beef, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, Ham, etc.
Leo is definitely healthier so he'd have a nice variety: Like a Supreme pizza.
Mike again likes most stuff I think: The Works
Don: Toughy, Vegetarian? I dunno, equal blend perhaps.

Desserts?
Raph: Ice Cream
Mike: Cake
Don: Pie
Leo: Trying to stay in shape, no dessert.

Most likely overall? Raph, definitely Raph.
Only when angry? Don when he's reached his limit, maybe Leo when Raph has another tantrum.
Casually? Raph or Mike, Mike the more accepted ones like "damn" and "ass," but Raph the more unaccepted ones like the f-word and words referring to female reproductive organs.
Only in pain? Leo, Don has shown that he can keep a lot bottled up before bursting, so just Leo on this one.
Splinter let swearing slide? Don, Leo's supposed to be a role model, so he'd treat Leo the same as Raph assuming that Raph does it a lot more often.
Splinter not let it slide? Leo, and maybe Mike. Splinter would be angry at Don, but I don't see Don doing it too often, so I guess Don could also be an answer to this.

I think Leo would still have dessert. Even if it is just fruit or yogurt or something healthy like that. After all, he's still a growing teenage boy.

Ditto for the rides. He may try shooting the hoops in the arcade section. I can see him also enjoying the Ferris Wheel for some reason.

Just because he's the leader and super responsible does not mean that he cannot have fun.

If Leo had the kind of anal-retentiveness that you have just described, he would NOT be my favorite Turtle. I do know people with OCD up the wazoo, and Leo is not one of them.

Regarding pizza toppings:
Raphael- yup, definitely the meat lover of the bunch. Pepperoni and sausage would be his fave.
Michelangelo- the works indeed. He'd throw in olives and anchovies.
Donatello- this is a tough one. I think he would be the likeliest to have just a plain cheese pizza or stick to just one topping. He'd avoid mushrooms since they may make him sleepy (they do make me majorly drowsy indeed). He would perhaps throw in extra oregano.
Leonardo- definitely the veggie lover, so he would have the green peppers and onions and tomatoes. Plus he would throw in garlic and other herbs and spices with medicinal benefits.

Regarding desserts:

Raphael- cherry pie or another fruit pie, candy bars as well
Michelangelo- chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge and chocolate sprinkles (you know you are not a teenager anymore when this does not appeal to you as much as it used to)
Donatello- cookies and pudding and brownies
Leonardo- fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, perhaps oatmeal raisin cookies

And amusement park rides:

Raphael- the haunted house, water rides
Michelangelo- almost everything, with the possible exception of the ones that involve your watching a screen and the seats moving because those cause major motion sickness.
Donatello- roller coasters, the circular one that swings out the swings round and round, Ferris wheel, or anything else where you can easily study the physics behind it.
Leonardo- the ones that have educational content of some sort, such as the Hall of Presidents in Disney World.

Well, I probably overexaggerated a bit on Leo, he does have that fun side, I don't see it much, but he does. In that case, I do agree with you on the things you've said about him. When I heard desserts, I just thought of the typical stuff like sweets like cake and pie and ice cream and cookies and whatnot, so yeah, a piece of fruit or something is good for dessert and it does make sense for Leo.

I wasn't trying to imply he was anal-retentive or Obsessive Compulsive, but just because someone has OCD, doesn't mean they aren't fun. I was just saying I see Leo as a lot more mature than the other three, and amusement parks are just more for kids and stuff.

I can't imagine Leo trying to drag one of his brothers on a ride with him like I can with Mike, but I can see Leo not minding joining someone who didn't want to go on a ride by himself.

I can see Leo winning like a dozen prizes at ring toss games or that one where you have to throw a ball and knock down the stack of bottles.

But I still stand by my choices on the other three turtles.

I can see Mike taking classes in Literature and Writing, Leo taking classes in History, probably like Japanese History or something, I don't know Raph enough to provide an intelligent answer but I'll guess...maybe like Trojan History or the history of some war-like people, I don't know. Don, hmmm, the easy answer would be science, but he'd already know a ton, he'd look for a challenge, so maybe he'd got the philosophy road or something, learn more spatial, non-technical stuff.

Well, to respond to that last question, they've all proven to be very accomplished warriors on both the physical and spiritual planes, I imagine they all must have some interest in it after training in it since the age they were first able to...that's how they became as good as they did, that's how they defeated the Mystics in Bad Day, and that's how they accomplished the Dragons in the Lost Season. You don't become that good without having a bit of passion, to say the very least, in what you're doing.

I doubt any of the turtles are very weight conscious, so I'm going to say April O'Neil would be the one to go on a diet. In the first Archie comic she mentions that she feels like she's put on weight because she had a hard time fitting through the storm drain. Plus in one episode she nearly got shrunk and said that although she wanted to lose a few pounds, she didn't want to do it that way. Old Toon April seems like the type that would have worried about her weight.

Hard to say who's best.

Bed wetter/longest-lasting accidents: Um, yeah I kind of get a Mikey vibe too. But don't violent people often have bed-wetting problems? In that case, Raph.

Potty training: Heehee anyone but Leo.

Second-highest IQ: I'd say probably Leo. I think he's pretty damn smart.

Animal lover: After Mikey, I'd say maybe Raph has that animal-loving soft side.

Motorcycles: After Raph, probably Mike.

I did see that a different Turtle did suck his thumb while sleeping during that episode. But personality-wise, Michelangelo would definitely be the likeliest one to do so otherwise.

Anyhow, which character (not just the Turtles) is most likely to:

- scream his or her lungs out at a rock concert
- surf the net at every possible occassion
- watch the calories and nutrients closely
- try to get tickets to the Super Bowl
- take music class in school
- complain about everything and then some
- read the newspaper cover to cover every day
- use up all the memory in an iPod

Scream lungs out at rock concert? Raph or Mike, Don and Leo are too calm and reserved.
Surf the net constantly? Don for news or Mike for talking with people or downloading music, Leo would have other things to do, Raph is probably not a big tech-buff.
Watch calories? Leo, I can't imagine Leo ever not being in peak shape. Raph might look at that stuff too, but he'd eat a lot of beef and other meat to bulk up.
Superbowl tickets? Raph or Mike, but Leo and Don would go with them if they had tickets.
Take music class? Mike's creative, Don would use it as a creative outlet, Raph might take up guitar or something as a stress reliever.
Complain about everything? I'd imagine this is more of a "when they were younger" situation, in which case, I'd say Raph and/or Mike. Raph for not getting what he wants and Mike for being punished and wanting to have fun. Leo and Don are easier to follow orders and wouldn't complain much.
Read the newspaper front to back? Leo, maybe Don.
Use up all memory on an iPod? Don for downloading classical music, there's quite a bit of it, Mike for downloading some movies and TV shows, and Raph for downloading rock music.

Scandia, I have nothing against Leo, I just see Leo as someone who doesn't have much time to do other things. He seems like the kind of friend you'd want to hang out with more, but they're always busy with either studies or a job or a meeting or something. Donny has a lot of time to himself with his technology, he could take up keyboards or something, Mike likes to have fun, I can imagine him with a fun instrument like drums, and I know a lot of angry people who play their guitar when they're stressed, so Raph seemed logical for that. I think Leo listens to music when training or something but not as just a "sit, relax, and enjoy music" kinda guy, maybe during meditation, but I don't know. I don't see him taking up an instrument, learning about music maybe, but not playing one. That's just me though, I'm sure a lot of people are more on your side regarding this topic.

wow triplexxx you chose very diffrent turtles from what I would have chosen. Except fro Calculus for Dontello I thought that:

I see, if you wanna know my crazy reasoning, I believed that:
*Michaelangelo for algebra since what it is, solving for unknowns, is basically fill in the blank once you get the hang of it, and I get the sense that Michaelangelo is fascinated by symbols.
*Raphael for trigonometry since its a great tool for surveillance and survival, like how to get across a seemingly impossible river or get down an extremely high building safely.
*Leonardo for geometry since it's very associated with physics, which, I know from experience, requires a good deal of patience and nitpicky precision.
*Donatello for calculus, since it deals with the most complex issues that take longest to memorize and are hardest to retain in memory, such as differentiation and integration, and a hard-core scientist must be able to retain things like this in memory.

I agree with most of your choices, but why greed for Donatello? Pride I can understand but Greed? I'm having difficulty connecting with.

For me I think it goes:

Leoanrdo: Pride, Greed

Donatello: Pride, gluttony

Raphael: Anger, Envy

Michaelangelo: Lust, sloth

I say Lust for Michaelangelo because he is the one that universally seems to be seek pleasure and things that feeel good to him, both phycivally and emotionally. and he develops crushes on girls and pursues them the most, (expect in the new toon where he seems to be asexual)

I would also ask which of the seven virtures wouls each turtle most likely exibit, but I don't what all the seven virtures are. :ohwell: I know that one of them is prudence. And one of the is patience. And one of them is chasity. But I can't remeber the rest. Does any one else know what the seven virtures are?

I've read a few places that instead of Anger, it's referred to as Wrath, which is basically acting out of anger, so same thing, but Wrath is what I'm more accustomed to hearing.

Leo: Pride, Envy (if someone else gets Splinters appreciation or praise too often), and Wrath [(Anger) if Raph angers him enough]

Don: Pride, Greed, and maybe Wrath if backed into a corner

wow I lie every ones responces and I'm supriced/delighted that some of you share my choices as well. And then some of you are completely diffrent from my choises.

as far as color or and length of hair goes I always firgured:

Leonardo: dark/black hair that is short but not cut close to the head. Like it would be neat and clean but it would be long enough that he'd be able to run his fingers through it and mess it up if he wanted

Donatello: ligh hair/brown. I just picture Dontello with light hair maybe light brown or sandy blond but not super blond hair. Also I think his hair would eighther be short or just long enough to go below his ears and it would be curly.

Raphael: Red, but I think the shade of red I can see with him would be a dark russet or rust color, and it would be long like past his shoulders long and wild and unkept.

Michaelangelo: I actually picture him with inbetween hair, like goldish brown or reddish brown or a rich chestnut color, rather than blond. Also think he would have long hair about shoulder length that would ushally be messy or deshelved and he would keep it loose, not pulled back (unles he is doing sports)

for eye color

Leonardo: violet, blue or gray or in between color, like grayish blue

Donatello: light green, light brown or hazel

Raphael: Dark brown, or dark green eyes, or mismathced eyes, and his case one green eye and one brown, or one light browqn eye and one amber.

Michaelangelo: amber gold, only because I think amber color is a sunny color and it would fit his personality but also enigmatic enough to be mysterious and sexy. or mismatched eyes just because he one green and one blue.

I think that by the fourth one you may mean "Mediterranean tan".

I am a Mediterranean person. During winter, I'm cream. During the summer I am beige- if I'm careful. If not, I will burn and turn red. I had a 2nd degree sunburn when I was 13 and have avoided the sun since then. On Tuesday I had to leave work an hour early due to a sudden high fever. My boss says that I had turned as white as a sheet of copy paper- that although I was usually pretty light, it was obvious by my pallor that day that I was very ill.

Hence I am going to disagree with your categories.

I will go by my categories:

fair- either Michelangelo who would have freckles, Donatello because he would avoid tanning, or Leonardo

light- Leonardo

medium- Raphael, Michelangelo if he were to tan, or Donatello because I can see him as being East Indian

dark- I do not see him any of the Turtles as being African-American. So I will just put Baxter Stockman.

I have medeterian in me as well and I'm olive complexioned and have dark features, so do alot of other people of mediterian back ground that I know. :-? I was trying to make a little more clear what I was asking so people would have a better idea on what I was refering to. If you want to disagree with my categories thats fine but there are quite a few that share those characteristics, my self included. But I suppose this a touchy subject since there is no real set standard of skin tone or looks that for most ethnic groups because any one can have unique features.

any way for me I think it would go:

Leonardo: beige

Donatello: light

Raphael: dark, as in the more bronzed color. I'm going on this based that he seem s to be the darkest shade of green of the four

Michaelangelo: medium dark light tan only because he seems (to me any way) to have second darkest green tone after Raphael.

I agree with almost all your picks. I'd imagine Don wouldn't mind giving out candy on Halloween, I think he'd come up with a cool special effect or technical way of giving the candy in a Halloween-themed way.

I don't usually answer using April, Casey, and Splinter, so I'd think Leo or Mike would start Christmas shopping earliest. I think Don would do some cool Halloween special effects thing using machines and stuff and Leo would dress up as something and give out candy. I'd imagine Mike being either the best costumed person (with the superhero costume) or the one with no costume. I whole-heartedly agree that Raph would have a great Jason Voorhies costume. Don could make some pretty awesome Halloween costumes for Mike and Raph, maybe Leo if he were to give out candy the way I mentioned above.

-I'd say maybe...Splinter gets the most depressed. I don't know, maybe he wishes he could still be spending time with Hamato Yoshi or something.

-I'd say Michelangelo probably has trouble seeing long term goals through. Old toon April strikes me as the type to make that "lose weight" resolution every year, but being always on the go and being around pizza loving turtles means it doesn't get followed through.

-Leonardo and Donatello are probably thoughtful enough to remember having made them.

-All of the turtles? Maybe they all have a harder time thermoregulating when it's colder. But being mutants, maybe that isn't a problem anymore. :)

-I'm going to say Splinter...because I can't think of anyone else. Maybe the sewer den gets too hot in the summer.

I agree with your first three answers, but the sick during temperatures is hard for me to answer knowing that the Turtles, being reptiles, are cold-blooded. If I remember correctly, and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe when an animal is cold-blooded, their bodies adapt to the temperature far more effectively than warm-blooded animals such as humans.

If the question is asking like "if the Turtles were human, then which Turtle would be prone to get sick yada yada yada," then I'd say Raphael during cold seasons and Michaelangelo during warmer seasons, but I base that on next to nothing. The only thing I'd assume is that because Don stays indoors a lot, he's used to room-temperature weather, and he might be the most prone to extreme temperatures (if he were human).

Sorry, but I have to correct you. You've got it backwards. Warm-blooded animals can adapt to temperature better than cold-blooded animals. There's a reason why no lizards live in Alaska. A cold-blooded animal's body temperature matches the temperature of their environment, whereas a warm-blooded animal maintains their body-temperature no matter what the temperature of the environment is (approx. 98.6*F for humans). Except in extreme cases, of course, in which case even warm-blooded animals will get sick and die, but cold-blooded animals would certainly die much sooner.

However, this is all a moot point because I believe it has been stated by Peter Laird that the turtles all became warm-blooded when they mutated. This is a critical point because I don't think they would be capable of the endurance we've seen in them unless they're warm-blooded.

So... it's still just as hard to decide which turtle is most likely to get sick in either cold or hot temperatures because they are all warm-blooded (which is a plus) and they are all in excellent condition (which is also a plus since good physical condition lends itself to a good immune system). However, if I had to choose one who is most likely to get sick in either cold or hot weather, I would say Mike just because of his eating habits in most universes.

Well thank you for being polite about it. That does sound pretty accurate, and I didn't know Laird said that about them becoming warm-blooded. Well, I'd say Don for both like I said in my previous post.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure about Laird saying they're warm-blooded. I heard someone else say that on these forums, so I could be wrong. I think I've heard the turtles themselves say they were cold-blooded before, but I dunno. It's just one of those human/turtle hybrid anatomy questions that only the creators can really answer.

I'll answer my own on the New Year's Resolutions:

-Leonardo: He'd try to learn to chill out a little

-Raphael: He'd try to watch his temper more

-Michelangelo: Try to improve his martial arts, and attempt to be a bit more studious like Leonardo.

-Donatello: Possibly relax a little more, like Leonardo. Try not to get so obsessed with different projects.

-April O'Neil: Old toon April's resolution would probably involve trying to lose some weight, saying something about the camera adding pounds.

For new toon April, I'll say it would be a more general "be healthier" resolution. So instead of exercising and watching say...soda drinking and so on just for appearance reasons, it would be based more on wanting to be healthier so that she never has to make that weight loss resolution. Maybe part of the plan would be martial arts lessons from the turtles. :)

-Splinter: Try to get out a little more. At least old toon Splinter would, the more serious Splinters would probably not risk it.

-Casey: Same as Raphael's, try to control their temper. Possibly use the sports equipment for more than just hitting people.

-Shredder or Krang?: Shredder and Krang would try to come up with plans that are more difficult to defeat. Also maybe find other damsels in distress besides April. :)

-Irma?: Probably to find herself a man.

What novels and manga each Turtle would enjoy:

Leonardo- stories of heroism and historical fiction. In the OT he really liked "The Three Musketeers". So I think he would enjoy works in that vein like "Ivanhoe" and "The Divine Comedy". For manga, he would totally love "Rurouni Kenshin", and perhaps "La Rose de Versailles" and other historical series.

Donatello- definitely science fiction. I think he'd like "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" (especially given how much the Y'Lintians show up in the NT) and other works by Jules Verne. I can see Donnie liking the Harry Potter books the most out of all 4 Turtles. Manga- perhaps the Gundam novelizations, but I think he would prefer sci-fi anime like Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water or Voltron: Defender of the Universe.

Raphael- this Turtle does not like to read. But I think he may like some thriller, survivor, or escape stories. His favorite book is listed to be "Jurassic Park"- and he may get a kick out of books by Stephen King or Dean Koontz. Manga- perhaps Lone Wolf and Cub (where they got that episode's title from).

Michelangelo- maybe humorous books by Carl Hiaasen. He is likeliest of the bunch to enjoy books meant for a juvenile audience. He'd like comedy manga like Azumanga Daioh or Crayon Shin Chan. Or maybe even Ranma 1/2. And of course, he'd love Pokemon and Digimon.

And now it's time for a new question:

If each Turtle had to live in a different US city, which one would each pick? Only well known cities- no saying "Raph lived in the bayou in that one story in that one RPG book, so he would move to the middle of nowhere".

Infomercials? Maybe Don when he's up really late working on something and needs a little TV on in the background. Then again, he's the "peace and quiet" type, so I don't know. I guess Raph.

Join an anime club? I don't know what goes on at anime clubs, and I don't really imagine any of the Turtles being into anime-style cartoons, but if I had to say someone, I'd say Mike.

Sleep in a department store? I gotta go with Mike. Sleeping on one of those beds.

Exotic cuisine? Don or Leo. Leo and Don seem more cultured and more open to other culture's foods.

Bland foods? Raph, don't know why though.

Like psychology? Don for the science aspect of psychology (how the brain works) and Leo for learning how to analyze enemies further with it.

I would say Mikey is the most easily intimidated by Splinter out of the turtles. Mikey just strikes me as the son that Splinter would easily break down if the turtles where caught disobeying him, if he where to pull each of them aside and intiregate them.

I would have to go with Donatello on this one. Even though Leo has the best rapport with Splinter I think he shows the most strict adhearance to following Splinter's rules and not getting in trouble, and Raphael even though he seems ike the most rebellious of the four, I think even he shows a some discretion on crossing Splinter. But Donatello, I think get in trouble the least amount of his brothers and when he does get in trouble I think Don is articulate and logical enough to talk his way out any troubles he gets into with Splinter.

this one is kind of tough because I think each turtles gets a bit aggravated with Splinter sometimes, but if I had to pick one I would say Raphael since Raph has the most rebellious streak I think he gets frustrated with Splinter rules at times.

I think that it is a cross between Leo and Raph, but over-all I think all the turtles respect/fear Splinter enough not to get mouthy to him...though Don showed his aggravation with Splinter in a episode when Splinter was "back seat driving" him.

Definately Mikey. Even though I think Mikey is the most easily intimidated by Splinter, I think he is the one that pushes his luck with Splinter the most, and I could see him muttering under his breath.

I think Raphael is the only one with the balls to this this, only because out of all of them I think Raphael is the onely who could get away with it unscathed.

Mikey pushes his luck with every one. I think Mikey was born with out that little thread of discretion that gives most people a sence of self presenvation.

After Mikey, which turtle probably gets in trouble or canned in the head by Splinter?

I have not seen Leo getting thwapped to be honest. Only in "The Shredder Strikes" part 2- where all 4 Turtles were backhanded.

Raphael does get thwapped rather often- and gets scolded a lot as well.

Donatello stays out of the way, so he may not get in Splinter's way as much, but he is probably just as glad to not be favorite as he is to not be least favorite.

Depends on what you mean by atheist. I do not see any of them being a hard atheist. Leonardo is very spiritual. Donatello would like learning about various spiritual practices- but I do not know if he would actually find it so easy to believe in one or commit to just one. Raphael may be jaded, but I just cannot see him being a complete and total nonbeliever. And Michelangelo I can imagine liking going to one of those houses of worship where people sing and dance.

Maybe Raphael since he is very cynical period and may not like the fact that some members of various religions have committed atrocities and blamed them on religion. But Raphael would be cynical about ALL big religions- not just the Abrahamic ones.

Donatello seems very open minded and easygoing overall. That said, he is the LEAST likely to accept a non-scientific explanation. Such as a "because I said so" rule or law. Or superstition. Or pseudoscience.

I don't know why it would be a no no I'm not promoting anything or putting one religion down. I was just asking a question.

I think Don and Raph would be the ones who would be atheists, they seem to be more skeptical than Leo and Mikey. And by atheists I mean not beliving that there is some big wonderful reason why bad things happen to people in the world and that is actually good, or that their is a higher being watching and judging you and your actions.

The one who would be the most cynical about big organised religions is Raph I would think. Since I don't think he trusts the intentions of of the people behind the religion that they are actually trying to do good. Second would be Don but only because he would be more into learned theories about life.

I think Mikey would be the most opened to other beliefs with leo next.
