Please forgive me for upholding this info for almost a month, but this comes straight from the horse's mouth.. or rather, Leonardo's.

Last Month, agt Anime Boston, Mike Sinternickleaus (sp?) was a guest, and I got into a conversation with him at his pannel discussion about the Japanese TMNT2k3, which lead to a conversation about FF. He spoke of an upcoming episode in which...

The Turtles battle their monster counterparts, and aftyer they lie badly defeated, Leonardo picks up his evil counterpart and suggests that he's not a bad guy, because deep down, the monsters are made from them. Naturally this might suggest a team up of the evil turtles with the good ones in a later episode

My memory is a little foggy about how he exactly put it, but that's pretty much the effect the episode is going for.

Sounds like the episode "DNA Is Thicker Than Water."

Yeah, I kind of predicted the Dark Turtles would change sides at some point.

I wonder if anyone can squeeze out answers as to what's going on for Season 7.

sounds good to me but all i really care about is them giving FF a damn ending which more than likely isn't gonna happen with the way people are being fired and $kids keeps flipp flopping.

As for "he's not a bad guy, because deep down, the monsters are made from them" , I don't believe that for a bit.

C'mon, everybody's got some good in them, even Bishop and Darius. But they're still evil bad guys. Just because the Dark Turtles are clones of good guys, that doesn't mean they have to be good guys themselves.

You could consider the Rat King aka The Slayer a partial clone of Splinter, but I don't see the Rat King having any good potential in him at all.

But as long as they're still alive, they still have an opportunity to change.

I mean we can't really know I do think it sucks if they have been but we can't do anything besides wait and see.

4 Kids has about as much buisness sense as half an olive loaf sandwich. They couldn't even make an international hit like One Piece work over here. I'm hopping mad that they actually WERE gonna make Kirby merchandise. I really want a King DDD action figure.

That said, this episode sounds very predictable, but seriously, when you hear the actual episode coming out of the mouth of Freakin' Leonardo himself, you pretty much get awe struck.

Damn. Straight. I've been lobbying for any kind of Kirby merchandise in the states ever since the show hit our airwaves.

There was basically just happy meal toys (2 from BK in a general Nintendo promotion, and 4 for Wendy's) and Key Chains. I had to pony up 17 bucks at said convention for a Kirby plush. And I still wanted DDD more.
