Turtles during Y2k?

I was just watching an the first episode of Futrurama and how his overly political father was muttering about the horrors and technical tragidies that would occur due to Y2k, and I got to thinking, how do you think the turtles (especially Donatello) reacted to the technical threat of y2k? I mean this show started off in 2003 so in the turtles time line y2k was only three years ago for them. Do you think thatthey where all freaking out about the y2k thing screwing up technology and making all these preperations to survive the invetible (like alot of sciencetists where doing around this time). Do you think Donatello was just as freaked? aybe even making a bigger deal out the whole thing than any one else and getting his brothers and Splinter all freaked out with dire predictions...or do you think Donatello laughed it off as nonsence and tried to calm them down?

What do you think their over-all reaction was? Do you think Dontello had concerns like the rest of society did?

Aside from maybe Donny conspiracy theorizing on it, I doubt they could have cared less about Y2K.

...I dunno, Andrew, I could see Mikey freaking out just a little if he thought his videogames might get damaged as a result of Y2K. Think of the highscores he'd have to get again! The horror! :P

Ha they were hoping all the lights would black out so they could go x-treme sporting topside. Then when nothing happened they had to wait 3 years until chrell blacked out the town while trying to steal the sword before they could go hang out above.

I think everything would have been kept under control. Donnie would not have let things get out of hand.

Curiously, the year 2000 had very little TMNT activity. Volume 4 had not started yet. There were no TMNT cartoons on TV unless they were reruns.

I would think that Donny is smart enough to know that people are blowing this way out of poportion and that unless his PC is acient, he has nothing to worry about. He probably rolled his eyes a lot at people over-reacting.

That would have been an interesting fanfic based on the 1987 TMNT cartoon, set three years after "Divide & Conquer", Krang and Shredder repairing the Technodrome in Dimension X and trying to return to the Earth on December 31 1999 by trying to make the Y2K threat bigger by hacking into the computers.
