Oh how I wish I could afford this Costume (http://cgi.ebay.com/TEENAGE-MUTANT-NINJA-TURLE-COSTUME-TMNT-MOVIE-QUALITY_W0QQitemZ230139080142QQihZ013QQcategoryZ60 361QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem). Of course I think my husband would get a little tired of wearing it >_>'
It's pretty damn nice.

It's from the same guys who made one originally for one of technodrome's forum members.

Was wondering if they are allowed to do that. Sell something that is of a trademarked character. I can see making a costume for cosplay, as a fan-based venture, but making costumes to sell? Hmm.

I think that since they're selling it on eBay that it's okay. People sell copyrighted stuff on there all the time.

That is GOOD!
I do think that you can make a costume for sale. I have seen plenty of people commission costumes of fictional characters to sale for people to dress up as them.

Yeah, people have had commissioned work done for cosplay, usualy, so I didn't know if a person could just create a costume and sell it like that... but cool! The nicest work I've seen outside of the movie costumes. :)

you and me both... :(
i want a ninja turtle costume like that OR a ninja turtle costume that looks like the ones they use in the parades... also like Roseangelo's avy.
i wouldn't JUST wear it for halloween, i'd BECOME the turtle, live everyday as if it were my skin... of course i would bathe.

As much as I love my costume, the thing is a curse to wear. You can't move, you can't see, you can't breathe.. ugh. And it's crap compared to the one on eBay, but at the same time it's worth way more than what I paid for it, so I guess it works out.

sure, brag my heart to pieces... :'(
ehh, it's fine, i don't really mind hearing it, but i can't stand having to be turtle costumeless.
If it wasn't for the extra part on top of the shell, I think that costume would be pretty close to perfect. But that extra piece really turns me off. Not saying I wouldn't love to own it, but I wouldn't pay $1,500 for it either.

O.O
WOW!!!!!!
Wow, wow, wow!!!
That looks AMAZING! That must have taken forever to make, and it must have cost a pretty penny too...I don't blame them for the price.
I'd love to see them do a Mikey costume...I think I would buy it once I've saved up for it (and I usually think spending that much money on something like that is a waste...but these are just so good!)
I wouldn't wear it though, just display it in my room for all to see.
But damn! That's good.
Congrats to the folks that made it, you guys are amazing!

A lot of wierd random vanity buys like that always pop up from time to time. In fact, I can remember one time when the Electric Mayhem Tour bus (the actual bus used in The Muppet Movie) was on sale and no one bought it.
