I'm setting my VCR to record them at SP speed, but I'm going to copy most of them over to EP/SLP speed when I go to edit out the commercials.

I'll be live capturing them from my computer...to my computer... :)
I'll also be encoding them because the capture itself is a gig big, a way bit too big for me to send to someone right?
But i'll also be putting them on vhs, because for some reason people like to pay a lot of $ for vhs after the show is so old... But I'm sure DVD is where it's at.

[Rant] I'll be live capturing them from my computer...to my computer... :)
I'll also be encoding them because the capture itself is a gig big, a way bit too big for me to send to someone right?Ain't that why there's a thing called DIVX compression?

SP. It's better quality, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.
It tapes faster so it reduces the space of the tape.

I always record everything on EP, I think the quality all depends on what brand your VCR is.

I'll end up watching it on FoxBox on Feb. 8th, but I won't bother video taping it. I'll download the episode off of the net when it becomes available though.

Hey, is there any way to tape the show if I have a satellite dish? Any help
would be very grateful. Thanks :)

If you get FoxBox on your satellite, just run the receiver through the VCR (VCR channel 4 probably) and then to the tv... if you don't, then you'd have to just tape it off regular tv. If you mean record onto a computer, I think you'd have to run it into something that has AV cords (like a VCR) and then run the AV cords from that into the computer (assuming you have a video capture card).
Something like that... I think

Mine will be taped because I am usually not around on Saturdays. In this way, I can watch them as many times as possible.

I was going to tape em in SP of course...but since i hate vhs and my vcr definitely went kaboom (well not exactly KABOOM but uh...it had smoke coming out of it because of the heat... :ohwell: ) i'll be getting the encodes...which i was going to do anyways.
