What do you guys really wanna see out of this?
I'm thinking: A fair share of non-goofy shirts
Re-issued toys
PLEASE no hot-topic, they over price everything and I get funny looks in there because I don't drape myself in black or wear fish-nets on random body parts

Mm, how can anything OT-related not be goofy?
I honestly don't know what to expect from the retro-licensing thing aside from the usual apparel. I'm guessing we'll see plenty of plush toys, key chains, and other useless knickknacks like that. Toys would be cool, but I doubt they'll be exactly like the old ones. They'd probably be a little more detailed like the new toys, but with the OT style.
By the way, lol at the hot topic thing! I'm afraid to go in there too. :embarass:

I'm excited about it, I'll probably be spending a ton of money on this stuff. I think it would be cool if they did some stuff from the old movie, especially if they made dvd re-releases.
Hot Topic will probably have a ton of this stuff, since they already did carry the t-shirts. Try not to get mad when Hot Topic kids start wearing old school TMNT stuff that they weren't even alive for.

I'll promise not to get mad as long as they don't pull out a script and start reciting canned reasons as to why they don't like the new TMNT stuff like "It doesn't have Bebop and Rcksteady" as if said kid knows who Bebop and Rocksteady actually are.

That said, I couldn't stand that period in time when girlss were wearing Looney Tunes shirts without even watching the damn cartoons. Especially since they tried to make Tweety a girl...(It has been confirmed tweety is in fact a BOY)
Anyway, I really wanna see Playmates make a special run of old school type toys that actually look like the old school cartoon, especially Bebop and Rocksteady.

PLEASE no hot-topic,
I enjoy going into Hot Topic. I have gotten some good shirts from there. I don't give a rat's ass (pun intended) if I dress too preppy for them.

Same here, everytime I buy a shirt there, it's one of the funny ones or something, and everytime I'm in there, I'm wearing bright colors and stuff. The people who work there don't seem to react oddly or anything.

I admit I'm slightly confused about how the new Retro stuff is going to differ from the current Retro stuff. There's been a fair selection of shirts at Hot Topic (yes, I agree they're overpriced, but not looking like the people who work there is a horrible excuse to not go in there) and I *think* a shirt has shown up at Kohl's recently, which is surely considerably cheaper.
As it is I have four Retro t-shirts, which is three more than I ever planned on owning. I hope they have more than t-shirts planned, because I really can't keep buying more t-shirts. :P

Dude... they gave the turtles these extremely wacky cartoony expressions and Irma barely looked like herself... it was like... nice try Playmates but try again.

What we need is back ground music from the OT, I would listen to that non-stop.
