Has anybody here seen this short video? It's potentially the goofiest crap to ever be assosiated with the TMNT, but it is a must see for all turtle fans. It's an advertisement for the Blue Line transit system in L.A. (apparently the turtles and April have re-located) and some dude named Gridlock is trying to stop anyone from knowing about it. So the turtles run around in giant costumes (with the help of the OT voices) and stop Gridlock. I got this for a buck at an antique shop downtown, check it out if you get the chance.

That sounds amazing! Lol. Gridlock sounds familiar, though, is that the name of a character in some other fandom?

I have a bad copy of this. It's reallyreally hilariously bad. Really.

That would be Grimlock from the Transformers franchise. The Dinobots, I believe they're called, were a group of... well... dinosaur-like Transformers and he was the unofficial leader, if not the frontman. Quite a lovable character, considering he talked like the Hulk.

Aha! I bet that's why it sounds familiar! Thanks.

Theres the picture, and this is what ninjaturtles.com had to say about it:
"Operation Blue Line"
April and the TMNT save the Los Angeles Metro from a dastardly villain named Gridlock. The TMNT are in their public appearance costumes (like the ones that were seen at malls) - so this tape was made on a shoestring budget and was probably done as a charity/public relations thing... unfortunately we don't have any details about it.
Information supplied by Kyle Holland.
Bezem wrote to say that the original voice cast from the TMNT cartoon reprised their roles for this tape - but this has been disputed by other fans.
I don't know why any one disputed the voice cast, it was pretty freakin clear to me...
