Hey all,
Do any of you remember the T-Mail letters that went on after the Image series was cancelled and before TMNT began? One that has stuck with me over the years was the little story that was going on where the Turtles had begun writing about having to go back to NYC because the Foot was gaining a stronghold again and the head of it was a young guy who was claiming himself to be the long-lost son of Oroku Saki.
Now I know we met Oroku Yoshi in the Battle Nexus at the time of TMNT going on hiatus, but it makes me wonder if this character evolved from those letters into the seemingy friendly, good-natured warrior we met.
I always liked the idea of Saki having a child that was brought up by the Foot much in the way he was, but they and Karai tried to instill honor in him but he feels he can be a better leader than his father ever was. I don't think he shouldn't really care about the Turtles much except when they try to meddle in his business (which would end up a lot probably hehehe).
What do you guys think? Cool idea to have a new Shredder or similar villian? I liked the guy in "49th Street Stompers" and felt he would have made a great nemesis after the fall of the Shredder!
