How much involvement did Laird have in the new TMNT shows? I mean, did he create Hun, Bishop and some others, or did he have anything to do with the Shredder being an Utrom? And Fast Forwad, since it's basically a show about the turtles in all new surroundings and all-new characters, did he also have a hand with Sh'Okanabo and the others?
Seeing as the old show adapted many stories from the comics, they kinda/sorta had a base to work on. How did it go for the writers when Fast Forward demanded all new material?

He approves of the story ideas and story elements, but he didn't create many of the new characters. Laird said in one of the V. 4 comics that he didn't even like Hun when the show first started, but as time went on Hun became one of his favorite characters.
He also has to approve of the scripts/plot for each new episode before its produced. And yes, Laird also approved of all the scripts/characters for Fast Forward as well, at least according to Dan Berger.
Right now I don't think FF turned out as well as he thought it would be on paper, which is why he's making sure that the next new direction for the series in the Fall of '08 works a little better.

I hated him at first as well much like Laird I found him to be a very bland character at first but he's my second favorite on the new show next to Baxter.

Badass does'nt mean well written. He had no scope until season four.

For a while I saw him as just Shredder's little bitch.

I refer to him as Shredder's Krang/Tatsu life partner.

I mean he was a really strong and badass villain but Baxter in "Hun on the Run" nailed it on the head when he described Hun as "a dog with its tail between its legs" when it came to him and Shredder.

He hardly had the sort of fake marage relationship thing going on that was joked about with shredder and krang...especially in those later episodes..boy I tell ya talk about them to bein' mooshy especially when lord dregg drains krangs life energy.
Hun's just a man servant like Tatsu was infact thats who hun reminded me of at first some tatsu wannabe thats why I didn't like him.

He also did not like Bishop at first. He felt he was some dude out of the matrix. But just like Hun Bishop grew on him.

Hrm, I didn't really like any of the baddies in TMNT at first till' they grew on me. I wonder why that is?

I wish I could but he told me when I talked to him at the NY comic con last year. You will just have to take my word for it. Or ask him if you get the chance.

You sound surprised. Isn't Laird a robot programmed to not like what he didn't create himself?

Who me? and the thing that bothers me the most is that Laird did create or has had his hands in alomost everything related to the tmnt.
